The next morning at 6am Ryan wakes up. Alone. He gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom. He starts filling up the bath with cold water and starts heating at the same time. When he was done, he whistles down the hallway. “Girls the hot bath is ready!” He shouts.

Suddenly he hears all the girls get up out of bed and dart out of their rooms. Ryan moves out of the way as everyone darts past him but doesn’t see Alex or Zephyr. He walks outside to the backyard and sees Alex and Zephyr. Zephyr was lying on her back with a rose in her hand and randomly talking to Alex. The scene between them both looked peaceful. He then whistles out the doorway.

“Bath’s Ready” Ryan says. As he shuts the door behind him. He then jumps in the bath and quickly cleans himself up and hops out. He then walks upstairs and changes out his collection of dirty clothes with new ones.

When he was done Alex and Zephyr were just getting out of the bath.

They then walk outside and start cooking breakfast for everyone. When everyone sits down for breakfast there was minimum talking. Zephyr leaned on Ryan the whole time through the meal. She didn’t want this breakfast to end. When it was time to leave, Kannell made them several things of conjured water and put it in their bags. Ryan who was still talking to the other girls more about his private journey before he ran into Alex, notices Zephyr put her hands around him and hug him tight. He finishes his conversation and hugs her back.

“It’s time to go” He says to Zephyr.

She then grunts in a cute way back toward him.

He tries to get away from her, but she just hugs him tighter.

“Zephyr it’s time for me to leave dear” He tells her while trying to back up.

“Nope. I don’t want you to leave” she tells him in a flirtatious tone.

“Baby I’ll be back hopefully in a month. Or two max” He tells her.

“Noooo! That’s too long. I want to come with you” She cries.

“I know, but you can’t come with us on this S-class quest. I’d love to use your help, but Alex is lucky enough to even have me coming with her. Our quest giver is pretty strict about the rules” He tells her.

“Fine. Just give me a kiss and I’ll let you go” She replies while reaching her arms higher up on his waist.

Ryan smiles and kisses her back. He then squeezes her tightly and smiles at her.

“See you later girls” Ryan says as he walks out the door.

Zephyr peers her head out the window and just watches him and Alex walk toward the road. She then sees an Arcadia waiting for them. Alex shows her a map of where they wanted to go, and Arcadia conjures them 2 Monster energy drinks. She then proceeds to open up a portal for them. They walk through the portal and Arcadia starts walking toward the house. Zephyr then goes outside to meet her.

“I got all your prayers last night. Look as sorry as I am for what I did, I cannot magically make him sleep with you” Arcadia tells Zephyr.

“Ugg Then CONVINCE HIM TOO” Zephyr barks back angerly.

“I’ll talk to him tonight. How about we go run a dungeon over in Deland today? Then maybe afterword we go hit a hairdresser for you? I’ll pay. Arcadia says while pulling out a bag full of gold.

“Oh makeover!” Zephyr cheered while clapping her hands in excitement. “I feel better already” Zephyr said with a big smile on her face.

Meanwhile over in Gnillàf

Ryan and Alex were walking west. The Temperature was around 56 degrees that morning. They were 20 miles west of a town called Derekton in a part of a zone marked on the map that was labeled “Monster Plains”

“So, what are we supposed to look for?” Ryan asks Alex.

“Don’t know. We will know when we see it” Alex says while she pulls out her sword and starts sharpening it.

“So, Zephyr woke me up this morning and complained to me you didn’t sleep with her. Dude you have to give your girl some dick” Alex blurts out.

“Don’t want to talk about this Alex. Plus, didn’t you almost cheat on your girlfriend by wanting to do things with me?” Ryan replies back.

“That’s different. I prearranged the rules of the Relationship with her. Guys are free range in the relationship. Girls… Not so much” Alex says while stopping to read the map.

“Why would guys be a different story? I mean you mess up with your side guy, you get left with a baby you and your lesbian lover must take care of. Something that could complicate the relationship” Ryan replies.

“Or bring you two closer together” Alex giggles while pointing north.

“But you know if you mess up with another girl she won’t “Accidently” be left pregnant.” Ryan points out.

“Your right there. No, she won’t be left pregnant by another girl. But if she messes around with me, she could be left with a burned down house and potential thrown off a cliff by one of her best guy friends” Alex says sardonically.

“Don’t… You know what let’s just change the subject” Ryan says while enchanting his sword with [Black Plasma]

Alex then touches his swords with her and absorbs the spell to Party Poison.

Alex then playfully touches the back of his neck.

“Ha-ha Zephyr owned you last night son” Alex taunted while poking his hickeys and bite marks.

“Don’t rub it in please Zephyr is pretty possessive of me” Ryan responds back.

“Oh, I know. We spent a while this morning talking about you. We set the ground rules with us questing together. I’m not to touch you romantically. We also agreed I am also meant to prevent you from wondering to another woman’s arms or bed while we travel together” Alex said with a teasing tone to her voice.

“Umm hang on. I don’t know about all that” Ryan said with a condescending tone.

“Don’t even think about it. I made a promise to your crazy bitch. I’m going to keep it. Just think of this as revenge for killing the mood after I kissed you that night” Alex laughs.

“I thought you already got your revenge for letting me get attacked by those death bears” Ryan shot back.

“Ryan you are not getting out of this” Alex giggled, she then comes to complete stop.

In front of them was a black field full of dead grass with mostly white sheep and an odd number of black sheep. All of them which had red demonic eyes.

“Found them” Ryan says while charging up [Ball Lighting] in flame mode. He then lets the spell go and detonates the spell. The sheep the spell hits instantly detonate like fireworks and sends a domino chain reaction of explosions down the field. The heat of the exploding sheep ignites the one next to it and the two stand there dumbfounded watching an out-of-control chain reaction of exploding sheep domino over a half a square mile.

They stand there for 20 minutes waiting for the ending of the runaway reaction to end. Alex who was laughing at this comical event; decides to walk up to a nearby exploded sheep. She searches the black ashes for a heart but doesn’t find anything. She then moves to another pile and finds the same thing. Nothing was inside the ashes.

“Well, it looks like you can’t use fire magic on them” Alex laughs.

Ryan who felt embarrassed as he still watches half-mile in the background the last 200 sheep catch each other on fire sits down on the cold ground.

“Well, there goes most of the flock” Ryan said sounded aggravated.

“Hey you didn’t know” Alex insisted.

Behind them they hear footsteps.

They see a portal open up behind them and see sheep walking out of the portal.

“What the hell?” Ryan screams as he picks up one of his swords. He then swings at one of the sheep. His enchanted spell makes contact but the [Black Plasma] enchantment makes the thing explode with fiery chaos. The three sheep that just walked out of the portal then get ignited and explode in secession. The blasts knock back and damage Ryan and Alex.

“What the hell! Ryan you can’t use fire on these things!” Alex shouts in shock.

“I’m just now learning this!” He screams back in anger. Ryan then runs his hand over his sword and removes the magical enchantment. He also dispels the effect on Alex’s sword as well. Ryan then charges in and strikes one of the three white sheep that just came out of this mysterious void.

The sheep falls and Ryan jerks back in fear that it might explode. He gets away from it and watches 8 more sheep just casually walk through the portal.

“Okay its clear” Ryan says as he slices open the belly of it. He then sees 2 black hearts. He then cuts them out of the body. He then throws them down on the ground.

“That’s Two out of Sixty-Thousand” Ryan says as he watches a black sheep walk out of the portal.

“My turn” Alex shouts while she runs in and attacks a Black sheep with her sword. Upon impact the black sheep explodes. This then ignites and detonates the other sheep that were around them. Ryan and Alex who were close to the other sheep, consequently, get damaged by the explosions.

Ryan who was now at 18% health and Alex who was at 45% health then get up in anger.

“Alex. This isn’t going to be easy, is it?” Ryan asks while trying to shake off the pain.

“No this isn’t” Alex replies while healing him up.

“Okay then. Let’s try this again” Ryan said while he looks over a newly arrived Black sheep. He then takes a few steps back and throws his sword at it. The sword pierces the skin a little bit and the sheep explodes. The resulting blast sends his blade hurling back at him and it hits him.

“Damn it! I already hate this quest!” Ryan screams as he shakes off the stinging sensation of the new cut on his leg from his sword.

“Okay then. We can’t attack the Black ones” Alex said while trying to sound optimistic.

“Hang on.” Ryan said while picking up a rock. He then lightly lobs it at another freshly arrived Black sheep.

The light touch of the rock touching it ignites it and its nearby cousins.

“I feel like this quest has a Billy May’s meme to it” Alex says in shock.

“But…wait there’s more!” Ryan said with a maddening tone while raising his finger up in the air.

“So, we can’t even touch the black ones. Not even brush up against them lightly. Or its going to cause a chain reaction” Alex replies appearing irritated.

“Yep. Let’s get to work” Ryan says as he attacks a white sheep. Alex then joins him and attacks one as well. As Ryan cuts out the hearts of the sheep he killed and throws them, He notices a Black sheep wonder over to the pile and begins eating the hearts.

Alex sees this and points it out to Ryan.

“Ryan! We got another issue now” She says while pointing at the black sheep canabalizing a harvested heart.

“Oh, great now we have to watch our pile too?” Ryan cries out in frustration.

Alex cuts out two hearts of her kill and decides to throw one of the hearts as far as she could away from the flock. The other 5 black sheep nearby see it and begin to walk toward it. Ryan takes this moment to cast [Detonate] on the rear one and blows the other ones up.

“Okay then. I think we got a game plan. This is just going to be one big giant game of Pick-up-sticks” Ryan announces.

“It sure is. We’ll use a heart as a decoy for the cannibalistic creeper sheep and blow the pile up as they near the decoy. This is going to be a fun grind” Alex shouts. While she sweeps her blade in a wide arc and kills 4 white sheep.

“Okay that sounds like a good idea” Ryan says whiles attacking two white sheep.

“Hey, Put on some music” Alex shouts happily.

“I know just the song to play!” Ryan says while laughing and snickering.

Ryan and Alex then start grinding to the song “Bodies” by Drowning Pool.

Ryan and Alex headbang to the song and start slaying all the white sheep. They follow Alex’s game plan and do their best to keep the black sheep away from their stockpile. It was a pretty fun “Dance” attacking the white ones while avoiding the black ones. They drop them in droves and take turns with killing and harvesting Roles. They switched every 50 kills. Then after killing the 50th sheep, they would toss one harvested heart deep into the field. When a black sheep saw it flying through the air, they would break away and walk toward it. As the black sheep follow each other toward the bait heart Ryan would blast the rear one and the chain reaction would make its way to the front leader. Then Ryan would jog out to the field and collect the decoy hearts he tossed.

They did this the whole day.

At the end of the day, they collected 1,288 hearts. They only killed 644 sheep They didn’t meet the fair share of kills of 1000 combined. Alex carried Ryan the whole day with 400 kills more than him due to being a little more agile and being a little more how would we put this: “melee range happy”.

Alex and Ryan who were exhausted at the end of the day set up their tent and an awkward conversation between them arises.

“I seriously tried the best I could” Ryan says to Alex while he hammers in the pegs of the tent into the ground.

“I know, but I was watching you closely. You’re too scared to get close to the black sheep. When one is like within ten feet from you take the farthest path away from them. Look If you scan ahead, you can cut them down with no worry. You don’t need to be scared of them. They can’t detonate on demand. They only go boom if you touch them” Alex says to Ryan with a little Irritated attitude.

“I don’t have as much health as you. I fell below a safe amount of health upon figuring out the mechanics to this task. I can’t take too many explosions from them like you can” Ryan says to her while he watches the sheep endlessly march out of the weird rift in the horizon.

“Says the person who charged Recklessly after the enemy the last battle with less than 25% health” Alex snaps back sardonically.

Ryan doesn’t say anything and realizes she was a little right. He just sits down on the cool ground in silence.

“We need to Rethink our strategy” Alex says.

“You want to try slaying them all at once then slice them open?” Ryan suggests.

“Yes, that sounds like a better idea. Let’s do that” Alex agrees while she takes out some leftovers from dinner they had from last night. She hands Ryan a thing of roasted duck and they eat and talk. They then head to bed.

In the middle of the night around 2 AM a black sheep manages to wonder away from its roam area and finds the stockpile of hearts they stashed near the tents. The sheep takes a bite from a heart that was in a pile that had a makeshift “Fence” that was lined up by rocks. As it munches on the hearts a bigger-then-normal sized rock is disturbed. It Rolls backwards and onto the sheep’s foot. It then causes the sheep to detonate. Along with the detonation it blows up the highly explosive pile of hearts with it.

Ryan and Alex who were soundly asleep wake up to an extreme shockwave in a panic and run outside. When they see the smoldering ambers and ashes of that sheep and their stockpile They fall to their knees and in tears.

“Noooo!” Alex and Ryan Cry out in anger and frustration.

“You said this was far enough away from that black grass roaming area!” Alex screams toward Ryan.

“NO I SAID I THOUGHT THIS WAS FAR ENOUGH AWAY” He yells back at her.

“Well obviously you were wrong. Our full day’s work is now fucking gone!” Alex screams back.

Ryan balls up his fist in anger and launches [Void Blast] at one of the sheep from afar. The explosion then sets off chain reaction down the field.

“Fuck you sheep!” Ryan screams as loud as he can as he shoots the run-away reaction the bird He then marches back inside the tent in anger and lays down.

Alex who was equally as pissed as he was follows him and lays her head down.

Even though it was only 3 AM, they now had another issue. The chain reaction was exploding in the background and shacking the ground in the distance. They couldn’t go back to sleep for a couple hours. Even when the chain reaction stopped over a square mile away, the sun was now coming up.

Alex who was sleep deprived due to Ryan’s Anger driven impulse grabs her sword and Ryan’s phone and plays the Song “Bodies” By Drowning Pool again on an even louder volume and takes off screaming like a mad woman.

Ryan who just watches her swoop into the action starts a small wood fire with his magic at the campsite and cooks himself some eggs he got from home. He also boils some tea leafs in a cup of water.

As he watches Alex vent and cut down sheep with anger, he dips his teabag in the water and lays back.

“This isn’t no Beethoven morning. That’s for sure” Ryan thinks to himself as he sees blood flying through the air from Alex’s targets.

He then sees a heart go flying through the air. As it lands, he sees 12 black sheep break away from the flock and casually walk to the bait. Ryan stands up and prepares to aim at the rear sheep, but Alex picks up a rock and throws it at it. The Explosion chain event then begins.

Ryan eats his meal in peace and when the song “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked” From Cage The Elephant come on, he knew it was time to go help her.

They slay sheep after sheep and start racing each other to see who could get to 150 sheep first.

When they killed 150 sheep they stopped and started harvesting. As they were harvesting the hearts a hand full of Black sheep decide to come knocking toward their Stockpile of hearts.

Alex and Ryan look at each other in fear as 5 black sheep were just chilling out and eating the hearts out of the pile.

“What the hell! How do we get them away from the pile?” Ryan shouts in disbelief.

“Umm I don’t know. Hey shoo!” Alex screams as she waves and swings her sword at the flock of sheep.

One of the sheep looks at her and completely ignores her and resumes chewing on its snack. Another sheep who was curious at Alex’s actions starts to walk up to her. Alex sees this and takes a step back. The other 4 sheep like clockwork follows that one sheep away from the stockpile. When they get far enough away from the pile Ryan lights them up. As Alex stands tall from the explosive damage, she took she makes her way back toward the pile. As she stands next to the pile to survey any incoming black sheep, she then notices ashy ambers blowing toward the pile. She watches one hot ash land on a heart and feels the shockwave of the pile exploding. The blast sends her flying away and toward Ryan. She then crashes face first into a Black sheep that explodes and lights up 4 white sheep near Ryan. She then watches the whole field take off in fire. The dead sheep bodies that didn’t harvest yet and all.

Alex and Ryan who were face down on the ground in screaming in pain and anger, Start crying.

“This isn’t going the way I want it to go! Guarding the pile is going to be the hardest part of this quest!” Alex then hits and kicks the ground like a like girl.

“I don’t even care about the pile. Those shockwaves hurt!” Ryan mumbles with is head still buried in the ground.

Alex gets up wearing a defeated face and heals Ryan with one spell. She then charges right on back in with a War cry. Ryan gets up and joins her. He starts cutting the hearts out like he did yesterday at a lower kill count. He makes a satisfying pile and then sees a black sheep walking his way.

“Alex! Get ready!” Ryan screams. He then lights the thing up. Alex grabs two hearts from her kill and runs away from the surrounding sheep. Another chain reaction occurs down the field.

As Ryan and Alex take a break Ryan remembers something.

He walks toward his pile and opens up his Void Storage locker. A large bank vault like rooms appears and he begins throwing them in.

Alex who stood there speechless and full of anger throws her sword down. She then attacks him.

“You had a Storage spell all along?!” She screamed as she started chocking him.

“Alex Stop! I just now remembered it!” He yells back while trying to break free of her hold.

“We are down Two days of work! We lost progress because of the fact you didn’t use this earlier!” She shouts while throwing him away from her. Ryan’s head hits the ground, and he feels a little scared right now.

“I… Hate you right now” Alex says calmly while crossing her arms.

“Alex I seriously forgot I had this ability. Look lets just use it and be over this drama your causing” Ryan spurts out while getting up.

“I’m pissed at you. What other spells do you have hiding in there?” She said as she points to his chest. “I’m punishing you for making us lose two days of work” She says with a strong firm stance.

Ryan rolls his eyes at her “Whatever bring it on bitch” Ryan thinks to himself.

You may think Alex would nearly kill Ryan by purposely blowing up a pile of sheep near him to punish him, but the idea she had in mind was way more tortuous.

They Farmed sheep with “The Derp Song” playing for the whole day. For ten full hours Ryan had to endure the pain of slaying and harvesting sheep to this song echoing through the plains for 10 hours. When the song ended at midnight Ryan was allowed to go to sleep. To annoy Alex, he lights the fuse on the sheep and enters the tent. As Ryan falls asleep to the sound of detonating sheep in the plains, Alex wakes up from it. Realizing there was not going to be any peace and quiet for a while she picks up her pillow and attempts to suffocate Ryan with it.
