As her father had his hand on Ryan’s shoulder, Ryan was still distraught.

“Son, tell me whats wrong, was it what we did to you 3 hours ago? Or is it more than that?” He asked him.

“No! That has nothing to do with it, my life is just so messed up. She wants me to love her, when I just can’t love her back!” Ryan replies to him.

“Why can’t you love her back? Whats stopping you?” Her father said seeming confused.

“Its…. Because my mother is Bunnell” he told him with a dramatic pause.

Bruce then orders his guards away from him and Ryan.

“Tell me more” He tells Ryan.

Ryan then spends 15 minutes telling Bruce about his life. Him coming here, His issue he has with his own mother, How He and Zephyr didn’t exactly get off on the right foot from the first day he met her, How he felt about her, Him and his relationship with Vedra, him almost killing Zephyr, Her “Trapping him” with a indentured Servant Contract, then how he slowly started to change his view on her, Her bugging him to jump from “Friends With Benefits” to a committed relationship, and then him finding out his mother was the Goddess Bunnell. He also tells her Father the only reason why he won’t have sex with her was her tail was a major turn off, and now that its gone and non-reattachable because of him, this feels like it is all his fault.

“Son you listen here, my daughter loves you and sends use letters every now and then about how she feels about you, this had nothing to do with you, we didn’t know Metter was going to snap. But she’s dead right now, and Zephyr is still alive. She’s upset right now and crying her heart out right now thinking you and her are done” He said while pointing back at the down.

“Look I understand she is a little clingy, and a little crazy, but she takes after her mom, who was just like her at her age. Her mom was a shipwreck too when she was 18. Also, sure Bunnell put a curse on her mother while she was still developing inside her, because she wanted to jump sides since Yulee wanted to be unreasonable, but at the same time we didn’t know she was going to smite her down in that Temple, and it would affect out daughter the way it did” He told Ryan.

“I know you couldn’t have anticipated it, but my mother is the reason why her people hate her, I heard you guys are very judgmental” Ryan said sounding depressed.

“Yes, our people are very Judgmental on looks, but how she behaves also has a lot to do with it. Shes been very Chaotic from age 13 to 16. At 16, she led an army into a Palmlandia “Just for Fun” and demolished that entire town. We had to work overtime to fix the mess she caused, and we almost disowned her, but decided to send her to Staug City as an Ambassador. Look come back to town with me and let’s fix this mess” He told him.

“Are you sure? Look we been having a really good date today and Everything seeming to go to shit all the time” Ryan explained to him.

“Yes, Lets clear this up with Arianna, but Let’s not tell her or Zephyr about your mother being Bunnell. She would cut your balls off in a heartbeat” He told him as he helps him up out of the snow.

“Why do you want me to lie to them about that though?” Ryan asked as he picks up his board and starts wrapping up his kite.

“Your mother also made it so she couldn’t have any more kids, and that’s why shes so “Casteration Happy” all the time to law breakers” He told him as they walk back to town.

“Oh, I had no Idea” Ryan said feeling a little cringy now.

“Look, don’t tell her or her mother about this. When we get in there, I’m just going to tell Arianna you ran away because you couldn’t handle “Hurting Her” and that you just had an overload of Emotions. I will lie for you, but You just get her ass home and in bed and take care of my daughter, but I do want you to tell her about the tail being a turn off” He Told Ryan as they walked together with his guards beside him.

“That’s all you want me to tell her?” Ryan asked seeming confused.

“Yes son, honesty is the foundation of Marriage, or in your case a relationship” he tells Ryan.

“Oh alright, but that still leaves a big problem for me in the future. I can’t love her, because the minute we fight Yulee, and Miraculously win, is the minute I say goodbye to her, and I hate saying goodbye with a passion to people I care about” Ryan told him.

“Look son, Plans change. You and Zephyr have a lot of Levels to gain before you all get to that point. During that time, you may change your mind about what you want. Enjoy your company with her now but let me warn you of this…” Bruce said while stopping and placing his hands-on Ryan’s shoulders.

“I’m Lying for you, and I don’t do that a lot. But because I like you, I’m saving your ass from the Wrath of a Crazy mother. But with me doing this for you I don’t want you to INTENTIONALY hurt Zephyr ever again. Because if you do, I’m not going to be nice. I will hunt you down, bring you back to my kingdom and lock you in a room with her mother. Do you understand me?” Her father said in a Threatening tone.

“Yes, Sir I understand” Ryan replied getting the message.

They all then walk inside the gates and Arianna was there holding a Shattered and broken Zephyr in her hands. Her father takes Zephyr out of her arms and carries her over to Ryan and places her in his arms. He then Orders the Royal guards to send them home.

Arianna wanted to Attack Ryan, but Bruce held her back as they were teleported away. Zephyr looked really confused and depressed in Ryan’s Arms, but he carried her inside the house,

“Hey Your back! How was…” Liz said with a Cheerful tone, then realizing there was blood all over Zephyr.

“Zephyr what happened girl?!” Liz said in shock.

“Something bad happened to Zephyr while we were in Wyozonia. One of her Generals attacked her and cut off her tail” Ryan said as he carried her in her arms to the bedroom.

Liz covers her mouth with one of her hands in shock. She then goes and gets the others.

He places her in the bed and covers her up and tucks her in. He then takes a wet cloth and wipes up all the dried blood from her arms, and face as she stayed there feeling upset, dead inside and Depressed. The other girls rush inside upon hearing the news and attack her with Hugs and questions.

She didn’t want to answer anything and asks all the girls to leave her and Ryan alone.

The girls leave and Ryan continues to clean her off.

“Why wont you say you love me? Why did you leave?” She asked in a numb heartbroken tone.

“Because I couldn’t handle what happened” Ryan told her as he sticks his finger in the bucket of water and heats it up with his mild fire magic.

“No, I’ve always said I love you and you never Responded back plenty of times whats wrong with me? Am I ugly? Or do you hate me because I keep failing to protect you?” Zephyr asked him as he starts scrubbing her neck.

“No honey there isn’t anything wrong with you, I’m just not ready to say that yet” Ryan told her.

“You banged Vedra, and you stare at Liz with lustful intent. Don’t lie to me baby what is wrong with me. I will change for you if you just tell me what’s wrong with me” She told him as he scrubs her ears.

“I don’t stare at Liz like that, yes shes cute, but there is nothing that she has that you don’t” Ryan told her.

“Ryan, in the bath this morning, you Dried my whole body but my tail, you’ve kept your hands off my tail and would walk away from me if I hit you with my Tail. Do you now like me because I have a tail?” Zephyr asked in a Guilty over emotional tone.

Ryan was a little bit shocked she picked up on this

“Honey don’t lie to me; you can tell me anything. Whats wrong with me”

“Okay Zephyr, Yes. It was your Tail. I been avoiding Sex due to the fact the tail makes you repulsive to me. I been wishing you didn’t have a tail, so we could move on and have sex. But now that you lost it, I feel like an ass. I my wish came true and now I feel bad about it. That’s why I walked away” Ryan told her as he puts the bucket on the ground and lays next to her.

“I wish you told me about my tail earlier, I could have just had it Docked” Zephyr said in a depressed tone.

“No, I’m not that much of an asshole” Ryan told her.

“I don’t care, I’ve loved you ever since we met in the forest, and I vowed to do anything for you dude, but I can’t believe you just left me like that” Zephyr said still depressed.

“Look honey I am sorry. I was just a little over-emotional when that happened to you. Look I am going to take care of you. I Promise” Ryan told her while kissing her on the cheek.

“Tell me you Love me” Zephyr said in a Stern voice.

Ryan then freezes.

“Ryan, my tail is gone, what else is preventing you from telling me you love me.” Zephyr replied in a serious tone.

“Umm we only known each other for almost 2 months. That’s a reason” Ryan tells her.

Suddenly Zephyrs body language changes.

“Oh. I see” She said while looking up at the roof. She then pulls Ryan to her and makes him lay on her chest.

“I thought I almost I lost you for good when you ran out. My mom was ready to track you down and cut your heart out. But my dad went after you instead. Look Ryan, I’m not the best girlfriend, and I’m full of Flaws, but I never want to leave your side. I love you and your pretty little heartbeat. Your mine and I never want to lose you. I’ve been hated all my life, and you give me purpose. Sure, my tail is gone, and you made it so its not able to be reattached, but you did that because you didn’t want me to die. I love you and forgive you for that, please don’t leave like that again” She told him in an honest and vulnerable tone.

“I promise you; I won’t leave like that again, but I want to talk to you about something else” Ryan tells her as he pets her head.

“What is that honey?” She asks.

“It’s about out my purpose in life. You know I have to Kill Yulee, right?” Ryan told her.

“Yes, we talked about that when we got locked outside the City that one night” Zephyr Replies.

“Well, I don’t WANT TO love you…” Ryan tells her.

Upon hearing this, Zephyr seems confused.

“What do you mean?” She asks.

“Well, if we all Level up, and Hunt down Yulee, and DO manage to kill her, I’m out of here.” He told her in a sincere tone.

“Oh. That’s right, you told me about that” Zephyr said sounding depressed again.

“Yes, If I Kill her, I get to go home or whatever Alexandria Promised me. I can’t love you if I know that one day, I’m going to have to uproot my life and kiss you goodbye” Ryan told her.

“Oh, I see” She said while shifting to her side. As she turns over, she feels a sharp pain.

“Look baby, if you’re here for a short duration, why not live it up with me. I mean I’m imprinted on you, so I’m not going anywhere. But at the same Time if you are here for just a little bit, I don’t mind going on a Crazy adventure with you. I mean I KNOW I’m a Princess, but when I’m around you, I FEEL like one.” Zephyr told him with a love struck look on her face.

‘Aww that’s cute” Ryan said while reaching his arm under her sides and holding her.

“Yes, I don’t mind if you have to go somewhere after all this is over, but as long as the journey is full of great memories with me being with you, I won’t feel sad. I Just want to feel loved” Zephyr told him.

“But I still hate saying goodbye” Ryan tells her.

“I am scared every damn minute to saying goodbye to you. I thought I had to say goodbye for good after the siege of Staug was over. But when you came back to life, I vowed to never let go. I’m here for you, and I promise I won’t be going anywhere, even if you royally fuck up.” Zephyr tells him.

“You Promise me? I mean I’m pretty bad at life” Ryan said jokingly.

“I don’t mind, just get under the blanket and hold me, I’m in so much pain right now. You’re the only thing that will take my pain away from me right now” Zephyr told him.

So, Ryan proceeds to take of his shoes and crawl into bed with her. He hugs her tight and pats her back while she starts to [Purr]. She and him cuddle for 2 hours before she falls asleep. The girls come back in and he explains to them what happened.

He crawls out of bed and has a meeting with everyone, and they all decide they need to give her a vacation. Kannell then decides to head to town to go Grocery shopping with Noodle, while Greena, Liz and Ryan hangs back. When it was time for dinner, they wake Zephyr up, and had to help her walk to the table because her balance was messed up. They all eat in silence, then Ryan gets a Bath ready for everyone. When they all crawl in, Liz cuddles with Zephyr, along with Ryan, then Everyone heads to bed.

Ryan Slept with a Crying and miserable Zephyr that night, and Never took his arms off of her.
