"Well then," the bandit continued as he slammed his fist into Julius' face, "Let the real fight begin."

"Blegh!?" shouted Julius as he was launched across the camp.

As Julius got up he ran back to the bandit, as he used the wind to glide over to the bandit. Dashing to and fro he ducked and weaved around the bandit's attacks as he slowly got closer. The bandit getting aggravated by the failure in getting another hit yelled as he attempted to swing the sword at Julius quicker.

As Julius continued to dodge the attacks, he used his wind magic to bring another sword to him. Grasping the hilt, he swiped the sword at the bandit's feet who jumped up onto the sword as he attempted to kill Julius again. Dodging the attack seconds too late, the sword knicked Julius' cheek, as he kicked the bandit off the sword. The bandit coughed out blood as he hit a tree. The bandit quickly got up, as he picked up the sword he dropped and charged once again at Julius.

Understanding, the bandit would charge again Julius, used the wind to slide underneath the bandit and then knock out the bandit from the back. The bandit grimaced in pain as he hit the ground. Julius quickly after grabbed the rest of the rope he had as he tied the bandit up against the tree before rushing back to the town.

"Welcome back to the guild, did you succeed in the quest you took?" asked the receptionist as she looked at Julius.

"Yes," replied Julius.

"Very well," the receptionist stated, "We will send somebody out to make sure you completed it."

"We will then after give you the money tomorrow," smiled the receptionist.

"Thank you," replied Julius as he left the guild.

"Welcome back dad!" exclaimed the little girl as she looked at Julius.

"Thanks," replied Julius as he looked at the little girl, "I have a surprise for you tomorrow."

"Really?" exclaimed the little girl as she looked at Julius.

"Yes," Julius grinned.

"Welcome back to the guild!" exclaimed the receptionist.

"I have your reward, I will be right back," the receptionist said as she ran into the back room.

"Thank you for your hard work," the receptionist stated as she dropped a pouch of coins on the front desk, "Here's your reward as agreed."

"Thank you," Julius replied as he grabbed the pouch of coins, "Have a nice day."

A man with a brown cloak, walked into the room as he looked at the young woman. He grabbed his necklace as he began to focus and chant a spell on the woman. A green and blue aura began to appear around the woman as it slowly started to diminish. As he let go of his necklace, he gave a quick prayer, as he left the room.

"She'll feel better in a day," the man in a robe said as he looked at Julius and his daughter.

"Thank you so much," replied Julius as he gave the money to the man in a cloak.

"Dad, is mom really going to feel better?" asked the daughter as she looked up at Julius.

"She will, " Julius smiled.

The young girl burst into tears as the man in the cloak bowed, before leaving.

"Now then," Julius said, "I want you to stay with your mother so the first thing she sees when she gets up is you."

"What about you dad?" asked Julius' daughter as she looked at him.

"Your dad needs to take a nap," Julius replied, "He's very tired."

"Alright dad," the daughter said, "I'll wait with mom until you get up."

As the little girl walked to the door she looked at Julius once more as she charged at him and gave him a hug.

"What was that for?" asked Julius.

"Thanks, dad! For keeping your promise to help mom!" exclaimed the smiling daughter as she afterward swiftly ran away.

Julius looked up at the ceiling of the house as his vision started to get hazy. Sitting down on the bed he dug through his pockets and pulled out a letter which he placed under the pillow. Julius rubbed his eyes as he took a look at the room around him for the final time, before drifting off to sleep.

"Hello," Julius said as he looked at the teenage boy.

"Hi," replied the boy as he looked at Julius.

"Thank you so much for helping our family," Julius said as he looked at the boy.

"I'm just thankful I could help," replied the boy as he grinned.

"Is there anything I can do to repay you?" asked Julius as he wiped tears from his eyes.

"No need, the smile I've seen from you and your daughter's face was all the payment I needed," replied the boy as he grinned.

"No, you deserve something!" Julius stated as he pulled at his finger as if a ring was on it. As he finished sliding the imaginary ring off his finger a silver ring came off.

"Take this," Julius said as he tossed the ring towards the boy, "It'll let you control the wind."

"I can't take this," the boy replied, "You should sell this and buy your family something nice."

"These aren't very rare," Julius stated, "These are common, the only difference is the invisibility curse on it."

"I'm sorry I couldn't give you more!" exclaimed Julius as he smiled.

"No, you didn't have to even give me this," replied the boy.

"Thank you once more," Julius said as he looked at the boy, "I think it's my time to go back to my world."

The darkness began to fade around the boy as his sight began to swirl and haze.

"Wait..." the boy mumbled, "Letter.... under... pillow..."

thud

The alarm screeched around the room as the sun arose. The boy rubbed his eyes as he looked at his hands. His feet hit the floor, as he sat up and pulled the ring off his finger before putting it back on. Walking over to the window he opened it, as a breeze blew by. Swishing his fingers around, the wind followed the boy as it went into his room. The boy afterward shut the window as he sat back down on his bed.
