Chapter Eleven
After returning to the estate, Li Feng retreats to his bedroom, but is followed in by Lam Bai. Li Feng’s tunic a few splotches of blood from the winged lion on it, but he can simply change tunics and leave the dirty one for a servant to clean. However, this is not the reason Lam Bai has followed Li Feng into his room.
“What did you do, back there?” Lam Bai asks, referring to Li Feng’s defense against the winged lion.
“Back there?” Li Feng asks, pointing to the corner of his room. “It’s just a corner; I usually don’t do anything there.”
“That’s not what I meant, young master,” Lam Bai says, holding back the urge to hit Li Feng on the noggin. “With the Golden Winged Lion, at the Demonic Beasts Parade.”
“Oh, that…” Li Feng says, slowly thinking about what to say next. “Can I have some privacy, to change my clothes?”
“I’ll turn away,” Lam Bai turns to face the book, not letting Li Feng escape from the window unnoticed. “Tell me while you change.”
Li Feng clicks high tongue and undresses, kicking his shoes next to the door. “I simply defended myself against a loose animal.”
“That wasn’t simply anything!” Lam Bai says, turning to face Li Feng, but gets an eyefull of pearly white cheeks and turns around again. “I’ve seen your father training in the courtyard. The peasants at the parade might not have known, but I know you can’t do that with even Spirit stage cultivation!”
“Can you keep a secret, Bai?” Li Feng asks, taking a clean white tunic from his closet.
“Of course, young master,” Lam Bai replies, still facing the door.
“I-” Li Feng begins, but is cut off by the door to the room bursting open, hitting Lam Bai and throwing her to the side.

“Feng, what was…” Lord Wen trails off, seeing his undressed son look to his left. Lord Wen steps forward and closes the door, and only then sees Lam Bai laying on the floor. “Are you alright?”
“I’m… fine… I shouldn’t… have stood there…” Lam Bai says, catching her breath on the floor. She’s bruised, but nothing is seriously hurt.
“Anyway, Feng, what was that ability you used during the Demonic Beasts Parade?” Lord Wen asks, shifting his attention to Li Feng, who is quickly pulling on the fresh tunic.
“I don’t know, it just happened naturally,” Li Feng says, using the fabricated lie he was about to tell Lam Bai. Once the tunic is on, Li Feng goes to help Lam Bai.
“Then, you’ll just have to find out!” Lord Wen announces, and picks up Li Feng by the back of his tunic and throws him on the bed. “Until you can master that ability of yours, you must search the empire for enlightenment! You have one week to prepare your things, and don’t come back until you’ve mastered your ability!”
Lord Wen then exits the room and closes the door behind him. Left inside the room is a bewildered Li Feng and a sore Lam Bai.

Subversion
Subversion is a game with highly customizable settings that allow you to fine tune your character choices. It was state-of-the-art when it was released, won awards and everything. It's not a game for you to pick "random" and hope for the best. But, that's exactly what Miguel did when he started playing. And, of course, his characters came out a little...different. A pothead bombardier elf who cusses and engineers. A stubborn Chosen One who refuses to do anything but farm. And a world full of NPCs, bosses, and villains who act nothing like they should. Now Miguel is forced to adjust the situation in order to help his characters level up and defeat the Dark Lord. But, will they make it to the end of the game? And if they do somehow survive all the tricks, betrayals, and deception thrown their way, will the game be what anyone thought it was going to be? *** As of [13] Do a Barrel Roll! Ch. Steelhaven: The Rising Darkness
War rages on in the 10th millennium. Two interplanetary alliances, the Kyklos United World Alliance and the New Era Powers, are engaged in an intergalactic war that spans across the galaxy, with the latter slowly but surely achieving victory over the former. In a move of desperation, the Crown Prince of one of KUWA's allied nations, the Kingdom of Icaria, Verigan Aekarios XIII, assembles a team of specialists from across the galaxy to aid the war effort and put a stop to the NEP's progress. As our heroes begin their journey to win the Second Icarian-Orion War, they will go through many trials and tribulations. Dhanurana
Out of an unnaturally quiet night, a bedraggled woman in noble finery requests access to the southern capital. Who she is has been lost to time for most, but her continued existence will throw everything further out of balance. Janurana had barely survived her royal house's destruction at the hands of foreign invaders, surviving day by day in the scattered pocket forests and arid shrub lands, constantly escaping the ghosts of her past. The south has barely survived their recent Pyrrhic victory against the north immediately followed by a coup. The north is bloodied but unbowed, on the brink of civil war, but still ready to take up arms against the southern invaders. The leaders of the south cannot afford another obstacle. And Janurana is just that. Yet her chance meeting with a woman expelled from the warrior class named Dhanur gives them both a chance to avenge the ones they loved, finish what they failed to do, and return to a normal life. *** Set in a fantasized bronze age India featuring LGBT female leads. Told in an omniscient pov with glances into multiple characters. This is my first book even if I've been working on it for a while but I hope you can all still find some enjoyment and take a break from everything happening in the world. Remember to work on your dreams. :)
