《Goblin Kingdom》Diana and her New Hobby
Advertisement
When Diana arrived in her simple hut, she surprisingly didn't call anyone to have sex. Today, she wasn't in the mood; Diana just felt like reading a book and enjoying the light of the day.
She used a little fireball to create a window in her hut and sat cross-legged toward the window. Then she started reading a new book Norgolin had given her. It was actually about cooking, something that didn't make her very hyped to read about, but for some reason, she read it anyway.
The first few pages were an introduction to cooking, explaining how to use the due tools, basic ingredients, etc; Then came a part that intrigued her curiosity by quite a bit. It described how to use different types of sauces to make up for the ones that were missing. What piqued her curiosity the most was that cooking wasn't as simple as she thought; It had infinite possibilities with few ingredients, and an enormous amount of ramifications to each method. It turned out a cook needed to be a kind of inventor: creative, intelligent, adaptable and eager to experiment.
A few moments later, Diana was immersed in a trip through the cooking universe. A few hours later, she had already finished reading the thin book and ran to the place where they cooked most of the village's food, which was a round hut, bigger than most, but not by a large amount. She was surprised to see that they had a good variety of tools for a goblin village, but the surprise faded away after she remembered Norgolin had been a cook, so he probably didn't want his goblins to experience the same hardships as him.
Diana then picked up a piece of meat and analyzed it, discovering quite a few basic mistakes on the treatment of the food. They left it in the ground, making it dirty and hastening its rotting process. Although it didn't matter for goblins, who had a very good metabolism to digest rotten food(due to being accustomed to doing so) and didn't care for the diseases and taste of the food, it still could be better, so why not make it better? Was what Diana thought.

She started by going to the lake and getting some buckets of water, then she washed the meat and sliced it, as the goblins had been kind enough to bone the meat before throwing it in the ground. Then, she looked for any type of seasoning they kept but found nothing; A little stressed out by the goblin's carelessness, she went to Laura's lab and searched there with little hope. She was surprised to discover that there were six types of plants that she could use for seasoning there. With a happy expression, Diana returned to the hut.
Now time to prepare the meat. She cut it into four equal parts, to test four different types of combinations. First, she tried a spicy combination, using a lot of the spicy plant she had found, but it didn't work out; It didn't combine well with the other plants and the spicy part was horrible. Then she tried an exotic type, which didn't work out as well. In the fourth combination, Diana got something very good. She had used a sauce that had a salty taste, along with a little soup she had made by combining three of the plants in water, an idea she had while picking up water at the lake. She put the salty sauce and then poured the soup on the meat. It gave a special taste to the meat, what made it three times tastier than before.
Happy with her masterpiece, Diana called a random goblin to eat the piece of meat. The little green beast devoured it in no time, going crazy for more; It seems she had just made a good discovery.
The succubus went to Norgolin, and after tasting the meat, he immediately asked her to start helping at the ''kitchen'', and teaching the other cooks, a request she happily accepted.

'Finally, I can contribute to the village and have something to do in my free time other than bath and practice!' She thought.
A little less deep in the forest than in the last chapter, the Icy humanoid group still hid from the terrible enemy.
''Mommy, when are we going back to our homeland? Will we keep running and hiding forever? Why can't we ask for dwarven help?'' The little girl asked her mother.
''Dear, the dwarves wouldn't move their asses to help us if it doesn't concern their safety, but while we live, we must have hope. Someday, we will be able to kill this damned demon!'' She said, comforting her daughter in a strong hug.

The Nomad: A Starforged ttrpg Playthrough
Life in The Forge is rarely fun, least of all when you've got an AI that wants to turn you over to the authorities, a stolen ship full of creepy cult shit, and you've pissed off the only guy in the Devil's Helix who doesn't want you dead through sheer incompetence. Unfortunately for Ash, worst courier in the helix, that's his day-to-day. When he gets offered an opportunity to get back into this boss's good graces (and finally get something decent to eat), Ash jumps at the chance, even if that means getting tangled back up with figures he'd rather leave in the past. This is a solo play log of Shawn Tomkin's ttrpg Starforged, as such, even I don't know what's going to happen next! Enjoy the ride!

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
