《Goblin Kingdom》In The Village

Back in the village, Norgolin was full of things he had to do, but right now, he was sitting down cross-legged in his well-made hut, his horns protruding from the forehead; Around him, pure blue mana circulated slowly, forming a steady flow. He meditated like this every day, slowly increasing his mana and purifying himself with the same mana. In these last days, Norgolin had found out that his body was full of impurities that he couldn't explain. Every time he meditated, he circulated the mana throughout his body and erased all the impurities he could find. Today, Norgolin was experimenting with cleaning his surroundings, as his acute senses could already perceive even the impurities in the air. Our goblin was making a lot of progress; However, someone of course had to interrupt his meditation, it had almost become a rule.
''Sir, your friend has returned from the hunt and needs to talk with you'' A goblin servant said.
''Ok, I will be there in a minute,'' Norgolin replied. He quickly absorbed the mana back and readied himself.
Exiting the hut, he breathed some pure air. It was good to be free, even more so when he was a type of lord. While walking, one could see some goblins running from one side to another, carrying pieces of wood, stone or tools. At this time, with the goblin race's absurd fertility and growth rate which gave them enough manpower(Author's note: Don't know if goblin power would be more suitable) to build quickly, they had already finished building some wooden cabins and were almost finishing the Coliseum; It consisted of an ''enormous'' circle of 40M radius circled by wooden walls, with some crude wooden banks made of tree trunks which the Orcs had worked hard to pick from the ground inside it, and a big, 4-meter deep hole that used almost the entire space in the middle; inside the hole, there were some stone weapons laying in wooden supports, all made by Potin. But as this wasn't the focus, Norgolin didn't want to go there and disturb the workers.

''Hey you little green bastard! I have a lot of little gifts for you!'' Alom greeted Norgolin happily, one could understand the happiness of someone who had gone through hardships to achieve something.
''Well you big rabbit, then let's see what you've got to show'' Norgolin answered while laughing faintly.
Alom immediately picked something from his backpack, and Norgolin was surprised to see that it was actually a wolf cub!
''Wow, so this is the wolf you were talking about. Where are the others?''Norgolin asked
''Damn sure it is. The rest of the wolves is inside the cave, I won't bring them back until I can assure they can cultivate mana by themselves.'' Alom explained.
''That's a wise decision, I thought you were just muscles; Lucky I was wrong.''Norgolin joked ''Please, let me take a look at this little guy''
After Alom handed the cub to Norgolin, he immediately activated his horn and tried to inspect the cub with his mana, but he stopped after sensing a little energy resisting. It wouldn't be wise to continue any further, as it could cause the puppy to lose its mana, or even worse, die. But what he could sense with his mana was that the cub's body was a lot stronger than a normal wolf's, and had a little magic resistance to it.
''What a surprise! this cub could become a strong companion for anyone if it grew up. We were very lucky this time!''
''Well, then you will have your jaws drop when you hear there are more than seventy of these in the cave. And four big ones. Those big females weren't affected with the mana since they were born, so they are weaker than these cubs will be, but they sure are strong. I even had to use some special ways to defeat them, but this is talk for later. For now, I will leave the cub with you and go get some rest'' Alom explained as he went to his cabin.

Norgolin kept wondering how will he handle these wolves, but shortly after, decided that this was a job for Alom. Right at that time, Laura decided to show up.
''WHAT A CUTE BABYYYYYYY!!!! AAAAAAH'' Laura got very excited from the sight of the wolf cub, and immediately run to steal it from Norgolin's hands and hug it so strong the cub almost screamed. Norgolin felt sorry for the poor wolf.
Norgolin explained how they got the cubs, and Laura almost jumped out of excitement when she heard there were a lot more of these.
''Laura, can you please stop screaming and state the reason for your arrival?'' Norgolin tried to be as polite as possible.
''Oh, that would be to warn you. Remember our scientist projects? one of our goblin females found a very interesting herb I need to show you. You will be surprised by its effects.'' She explained.
Both departed to Laura's cabin, and when they arrived, there were already four smart-looking goblin females waiting for them. They wore fur dresses and looked quite adorable. The group entered the Cabin, and when inside, Norgolin got very surprised; There were three plants in the ground, they had four, five, and seven petals respectively. The four-petals one had a light blue color, a blue that looked like the blue of mana. The five petals one had a dark red color, and the seven petaled was entirely black, pitch black. All of these plants emanated a strange aura and aroused Norgolin's curiosity.
''Just what are these plants used for?'' Our goblin protagonist asked.

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds

When the unwitting darkmage Haisrir embarks for distant Kholl, he unleashes the gravest threat of all. Divided in purpose and forsaken by prophesy, their fractured band splinters under the burdens of impending war. But looming beyond the eastern horizon, their enemies ready a ghastly armada. I felt a connection with every character that stretched over a very wide range of emotions. I eagerly wait for the next installment. - J.R. Lost Things
"In this disordered continent, where everyone seeks to be the heroes of their own tales, there are still some rooms for smaller stories to breathe." "Past, present, and future—keep your eyes open, and see where they lead you to." This story follows three housemates’ lives: Carson Calding, Virgil Barion, and John Salore—onto their adventures of finding Carson’s past, Virgil’s present, and John’s future. Despite their clashing backgrounds and circumstances that forced them together, they’re definitely going to find the things they had lost, for sure. Each entire chapter will be updated biweekly. There'll be three smaller parts per each chapter. Note that this story was written to be an interactive one, with polls at the end of each parts deciding on what happens next. Though, the polls for this story won't be available on Royal Road updates. (I also upload this in Arcane Odyssey forum, and it's currently the only place where I open the polls and use the poll results from.)
