《Black Ice》chapter 16

Heise had just arrived in his inner world. The scenery was just amazing. He still couldn't believe that such a vast world was inside him.
He didn't know how to get down of the floating island he was at. He looked around and found a ladder that led all the way down. He still couldn't understand how a ladder was placed there in the first place.
Going down he approached divine creatures, trying to see if they are passive or not. He didn't know if his cultivation was just like outside, or if there were some sort of restrictions in this place.
All the animals ran away from him in fear. As if he was trying to harm them. He stopped trying after a while and sat cross-legged in the ground, slowly absorbing heavenly energy. He opened his eyes as he saw a dragon fly by.
The dragon landed near him as it lowered its Head in acknowledgement. Heise was surprised by the fact that even a dragon was inside his inner world. However he quickly noticed that it wasn't a dragon from the dragon race, but rather a draconic Divine Creature. He tried to touch the dragon, prompting it to shake in fear. His hand landed on the dragons head as he slowly caressed its head. The draconic creature closed its eyes in comfort, the fear stripping away from it.
Heise took a deep breath as he slowly climbed its back. The creature didn't seem to be scared as it slowly got up and started flapping its wings. It flew in the sky along with Heise.
Heise marveled at the scenery in amazement. Such a beautiful scenery was other wordly. Floating islands in the sky, with water falls and giant Plain filled with grass and flowers. He flew for quite a while, taking in the view slowly. He closed his eyes and started absorbing the Heavenly energy, having reached a Clear state of mind.
He heard the Creature produce some noises all of a sudden. He opened his eyes and looked ahead, noticing that the creature was about to land on a floating island. The creature landed as it helped Heise get down. After Heise got down it went into a cave located on the floating island. Heise followed it inside, hearing some weird sounds. It turns out that the creature was female and a mother at that. Two really cute babies were slowly drinking their mothers milk. Heise didn't want to disturb the peaceful scene so he went outside.
He looked around him and found a tree with good shade. He sat below it as he calmed once again. He had never had such a peaceful experience. Ever since he got reincarnated he was always active, doing random stuff. Even before his death his life was almost never peaceful. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes once more. He woke up Half an hour later to the sounds of a muffled screaming voice. He looked around him, not noticing anything weird.
He followed the sound as he reached a tree at the edge of the islamd. The tree had a big cocoon hanging from it. It moved around as a scream was heard from inside it. An understandable voice could be made out when someone focused on it.
The muffled voice was screaming in anger, as if it hated the whole world. Heise got closer to it and he could finaly make out the words clearly.
"Fuckers! If I manage to get out of this cocoon and gain my body back ill kill everysingle one of you. How dare you scheme against me, or even kill me at that." The voice screamed in anger.

Heise took a few steps back as he prepared himself to actually speak. He was scared that things could go bad, but he remembered that this was his inner world, so he was not scared. Even though One couldn't be killed inside his inner world, they could harm their souls if a dramatic experience or the destruction of their astral body were to take place.
" Um.. Hello.." Said Heise with Hesitation.
The Voice suddendly stoped as silence issued. After a while the voice could be Heard. " Child, can you please get me out. I promise i wont harm you." The voice said.
Heise was hesitant. He might be a child in appearance, but in fact his mental age was higher than 20. He couldn't fall for a trap such as that, however he felt that an inteligent being located inside his inner world was impossible, so his curiosity took over him.
" Be careful, im going to cut the cocoon." Heise said.
He posed himself as he unleashed a Heavenly art. An ice shard shot through and cut the cocoon.
A male Youth fell down. His appearance was quite peculiar. He had a Devilishly handsome face, his slant blue eyes could make anyone stunned. Black hair reached to his knees, black lightining coursing through his body. He looked at Heise, as a sharp aura rouse, suppressing the area. All the Creatures shook, as they all coward in fear.
He got up as he looked around the area, his majestic lightning aura showing off. He turned once again and looked at Heise as he opened his mouth.
"Child Were is this place?" He said, as his calm southing voice resounded like thunder.
He looked puzzled, he didn't understand this place at all. Such a place shouldn't exist in the divine planet or rather a place like this shouldn't have a child fooling around in.
Heise scratched his head as he opened his mouth and said "Well This is my Inner world" with a goody smile. He didn't believe that this was his inner world as well. It made no sense in a normal cultivators perspective.
The youth's eyes turned into dots as his expression turned blank. "eh" an eh sound came out of his mouth as his mind became blank.
"What did you say.." He said trying to confirm what Heise said is true. This sounded absurd. How could a child have such an inner world? The inner world grew along with the cultivator, but this child had such an inner world from the very beggining.
"This is my inner world." Repeated Heise.
The youth was stunned. His face froze for a couple of minutes as silence ensued. He took a deep breath and calmed down. This matter was still shocking to him.
"Child what's your name, what clan are you from. Don't worry im not going to cause you any harm." Said The youth while sitting down. The mental shock he got was too much for him.
"My name is Heise Bing. As you can tell from my surname im from the Bing clan." Said Heise with hesitation. He didn't know what to do in this situation. Somone was inside his inner world, an actual cultivator at that.
The youth nodded, He knew about the Clans and sects from every Plain. " Well since your are from the Bing clan and your inner world is this big im gonna guess that you have One of the Purple ices." He said in contemplation.
Heise shook his Head and Placed himself in a Pose to unleash A Heavenly Art once again. He unleashed a small Transparent ice crystal.

The Youth was shocked. " Wait, isn't this the weakest type of ice? This makes no sense. From what i can Tell you have an Innate talent of 80. For you to Have such Ice is practically impossible."
Heise was stunned. This person had already seen his Heavenly layers. He didn't even unleash them, or rather let him count them. Even for his grandfather, he needed to count the from up close to even see them and he was a Godly Hand! And When it came to his ice He didn't expect the Stranger to have such vast knowledge about his clan, or even his ice at that.
"Kid dont be surprised, this information is nothing. Now show me your Actual ice." He said With a focused expression. He didn't believe that A person with Such talent would have the weakest type of ice. It was just common sense when someone reached a certain Cultivation level.
Heise's eyes became focused as they slowly changed. They transformed once again. The youth was shocked. [No wonder this kid didn't use his actual Ice from the Beggining, such A divine body part would surely be powerful. I see he even has a divine body part from master samsara.] He thought.
Heise posed himself once more as he placed the same amount of Heavenly energy in his Heavenly Art. A Black Ice crystal came out of the ground, its size Twice that of a normal Person. The youth was stunned.
"Black? What the hell is this? Why is it black? Not even Lord Boreas didn't have such a Dark Colored Ice!" The youth muttered. He really couldn't understand this child.
Heise Closed his eyes as they turned back to normal. He opened them again and looked at the Youth. He opened his mouth as his demeanor had changed completely. " So sir What about you. Do you mind telling me How you ended up Here" He said with an emotionless voice. Towards a stranger He couldn't care less and since this person already knew so much about his family, what if he was an enemy of it.
The youth Laughed as he shook his Head " Heise you dont have to be so Agressive towards me. My name is Lei Shuai, Im from the Royal Lightning Race. As to how i ended up here..." He sighed.
" Kid do you know about the existance of gods?" He said while Looking at Heise.
Heise nodded. He did indeed know about their existance, however his information on this matter was too little. In fact even reaching That point is practically one in a trilion or even more.
"Well then, what if i told you that im a god." He said with a sigh.
Heise was stunned. A god? Then why was he here. He didn't believe that a god of all beings was inside his inner world.
"Indeed, an expected Questioning. Well you see I'm From a famous clan that is located in the 5th layer of the Aether. Our clan is Closed one and we dont usually appear outside. Its been a few thousand years since i ascended to godhood." He said While closing his eyes in reminiscence
"I was known as one of the greatest geniuses of the clan before ascension, reaching Titled Godly Body at the age of 20. I was born with innate talent of 70, which is incredible on its own and my lightning was of the highest Grad, Black lightning. However after reaching the Titled Godly Body i didn't know how to get further away in cultivation. In fact not even the records of my ancestors showed how to ascend to god hood. Then it came to me When i was reaching the end of my life span after thousands of year. A god needs to have the body and soul at that level. In fact we only cultivate our body and not our soul, so we cant reach ascension after we reach titled godly body." He took a deep breath as he continued.
"In the end of my lifespan i was finally able to awaken my soul, reaching it to the optimal level. At that point i was at God city, since it was documented that everyone needed to be on that city to ascend. I could feel my aura rising as my vitality slowly returned. I had returned to a youthful appearance. A light came from the sky as it stretched through the whole planet, engulfing me."
Heise absorbed the information like a sponge as his expression turned serious. Such a matter could involve his future, knowing of how to ascend is a key part to his cultivation. Although he didn't know why, he felt that he had to cultivate to the peak, he couldn't waste the second life he was given.
Lei went on " I was transported through the light into another place, i still dont know its location. A person came in front of me, his appearance holy. He had a gold aura around him, his face hidden from the light. I later learned he is the guardian of the dimension and he gets the new gods inside. He gave me Three paths. Option one was to go in alone, without any type of support, however he told me that he would do that in my place. Although this was a realm where the gods ascended to nothing was that simple. The cultivation system has been up for millions of years by this point, which meant that the cultivators that had reached the god realm weren't a small amount. In fact i learned that around 2 people every year ascended, which really surprised me. The second option was to join a faction, or a leader. This way i wasn't alone and couldn't be killed by greedy people. The cultivation world is cruel." He stopped there.
Heise was preplexed. "What about the third option?" he asked.
Lei smiled as he shook his head. " Child if manage to survive till you reach ascension dont choose the Third option. The third option is the abyss, a hole of nothingness. I later found out that the people that managed to get out of it were 1 in a billion, even for gods. Also dont think that Gods are the gods in the books, in fact we are much weaker. There are rankings to gods as well. A newly ascended is beraly at the 10th level of Godhood, which is the lowest."
Heise nodded, he knew that such information was too far away for him at the moment. Maybe in the future he will be able to talk about such matters, but for now he wasn't need of such information. However Lei didn't mention how he ended up here. Heise looked at him once more, still preplexed.
Lei laughed "Well you rascal, you really want to know. Like i told you earlier there were 3 options, i chose the second and went under the Banner of Samsara, the god of reincarnation." He said.
"After entering i was able to freely move inside his Space and since my lightning has the abyss and darkness element, i was able to become a disciple under him, reaching the 4th level after thousands of years of diligence and cultivation. However my rise in power wasn't really liked by some other people, especialy the enemy of my clan, the golem races God rock clan, which at the time had quite a big population of Gods in the dimension. When i was outside they found me and grouped up with a few other gods and managed to destroy my body. However like i told you we cultivate our souls as well. I managed to survive by letting my soul ascape. In fact this current body of mine is my soul, i need to build a new body and cultivate once again." He continued.
"But how did you end up here. Even if your soul managed to escape, how did it end up here and not remain inside the dimension.?" asked Heise. He didn't understand this matter. It was too complicated for him at the moment.
"My soul got away, as i tried to survive as a soul there. However the conditions weren't good. I entered a spacial crack which led me into different Dimensions and it so happens i entered your. However it wasn't that simple. Something attacked me and placed me inside a cocoon. Since i dont have my actual body and my strength isn't good enough i wasn't able to get out. I think i've been stuck here four around six years now." he said.
"SIX YEARS?" Asked Heise in surprise. He turned Six today, which meant that Lei was inside his inner world since the day he was born. Such a matter was insane.

8 168Life in the New World
On the Hiatus: I began writing this novel when I was, in all honesty, very bad at writing. I hope to revisit creative writing in the near future and I plan to, at some point in time, revisit this. I am flattered that many people have taken the time to read this story, but it is not what I intend to start with, as it will likely need a hard rewrite in order to correct many of the more glaring issues it has. Join our hero and follow his exciting adventure through a newly changed world! WARNING their will be violence, profanity,, and gore in this fiction. if any of these make you uncomfortable this is not a story for you turn around and walk away now!!!

Leaving a trail of blood as he climbed up a hill, his limbs felt like lead. He was gasping too, his lungs burning with every step he took. It felt like a bundle of broken glass was scraping away the inner walls of his flesh. He was dying, obvious to both him and his pursuers. And it would not be long till he dropped dead as he bled away. If not, the people chasing him would surely finished what they had came for. It was as if the Gods themselves had already predestined his fate. He took one step forward and stood at the peak of the hill. He let his legs rest as he could barely go on. Heaving deep breaths, he could hear sneering voices and shouts behind him. They were close, and the grim realization stoked the embers of his most primal fear. He did not want to die.
