《Black Ice》Chapter 10

Even though Heise went around the Demon Ape's sight, he didn't let his guard down. If the Demon Ape were to cast a single illusion on him he would probably be dead. He walked around it slowly while hiding in bushes, trying to not make any sound.
However the Demon Ape somehow found out his location immediately rushing towards him. Heise's heart skipped a beat. He brought Little Black with him when he left, It was probably the reason why the Demon Ape found his location. For some reason A lot of Divine Creatures were attracted to Little Black, as they Tried to eat it. He Realised Little black and ordered it to Fly away and find him later.
He rushed ahead with his greatest speed possible, after images appearing as he dashed foreward. However Things didn't look that good. Even though The demon ape was Slow he made up with flexibility in the forest. It managed to go from tree to tree, leaping dozen of meters on every jump. It appeared in front of heise, its Three Eyes Unleshing a Spell. Heise's face went ashen as he fell into the illusion.
Images flashed by in his head. He returned to his previous school years.
"Heh, did you hear? That freak got first place again." A voice sounded.
"Yes, i heard. That freak should get a life, Does he not do anything but read? Look at him He doesn't even have friends." A voice responded.
Voice's and whispering sounded as sounds of ridicule sounded from each side, dozens of shadows appearing. Heise Took hold of his head as he shut his ear's, not wanting to hear anything from it. The environment changed once again, as he appeared in his previous work place. His co-workers looking at him with bad intentions as a bunch of hands launched towards him, Covering him completely. The place changed once more as the images of his mothers last moments could be seen. Him falling into his death. His father dying right in front of him.
He was having a mental Breakdown. His mind filled with confusion. Blackness covered his entire consciousness, a single child appearing in the center of it. It was playing with a round object while crouching. Heise approached the child with slow steps, his mind still unstable. As he got closer he noticed the child features, It had black hair with blue eyes. a mole could be seen on the corner of its right eye(His chick). However as he got closer he could see its expressionless face, as it played around. Suddendly the child flashed as it got covered with blood, the round object slowly revealing itself. It was Lengs Head, slowly being turning over from the kids hands.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Heise screamed in horror, in both his mind and real life. The images of his father cut off head and the expressionless child turning it. The Ridicule of his classmates and the bad intentions of his co-workers. He couldn't take it anymore as he snapped.
The Demon Ape noticed that something wasn't right as it slowly took a few steps back. Heise was Grabing his head and pulling his hair while screaming. He looked in the sky while He closed and opened his eyes. They were flashing in Red and light blue while a cold aura came from his body. After a while, he stopped moving. His eyes had changed, His right eye was light blue, mountains and snow could be seen inside. On the other hand His left eye was red, blood rivers and a bunch of shadows screaming in dispair could be seen inside it. Both eyes had Cat like pupils, however they didn't feel that they were pupils, but rather Two pillars that were the center of each of the worlds shown in his eyes.
As he was staring ahead with a blank look, the demon ape was horrified. A pair of Horns apeared on Heise's head, Wings following after. One set of wings, Two set's of wings, Three sets of wings... Five sets of wings appeared behind him as the fifth set had gigantic Bat like wings. The Demon ape Pissed itself as fear covered its whole body. Heise didn't seem to be conscious. However even though he wasn't The aura that came from his body scared the Demon ape stiff.
It never expected something like this. How could it have known that thanks to its illusion, a traumatic experience was made for Heise as it made him have a mental break down and forcefully awaken.
Heise waved his sleeve, as Black ice crystals appeared from the ground instantly freezing the Demon ape to death. Heise passed out moments later.
He woke up 24 hours later to a call of a bird. It was Little black, calling out to him to wake up. He got up and looked around, noticing the Demon Ape being frozen by Black ice Crystals. A chill ran down his spine, as he had never expected for a Monster such as a demon ape to die so easily. Usually the need for a 120 layer cultivator is need to even manage to kill such a creature. He didn't believe that he was the cause of such a thing, he didn't even consider that. Instead he thought a fight probably happened between the demon ape and an ice creature.

His stomach growled, as he felt his whole body hurting. He took out some ointment and placed it on his sore spots. After that he ate along with Little black. Little Black alone ate as much as him, which made him really surprised. [this little guy does really eat a lot huh, he is only a baby, how much does he have to eat when he grows up?] He thought.
Ater finishing their meal Heise went up close to the frozen Demon Ape. He tried breaking the Black Ice Crystals but to no avail. Little Black Started knocking on the ice with its beak as it slowly broke. Heise was amazed by the sheer power of that beak. He couldn't destroy the ice with all the methods he tried, but little black managed to do it with its little beak. He thanked the little bird as he approached the Demon Ape.
its body was frozen cold, it easily snapped in half with a single touch. A core dropped down. Its color was a deep red as it radiated heavenly energy. The core had 4 Layers around it. However the layers felt off, as if they weren't normal 4 layers.
Heise's eyes went wide. " This is a 400 Layer Divine creature?! Wait, how is that possible i thought it was around 100 layers or at least close to that.. Just how strong was the creature that killed it?" He shouted in fear. He grabbed the core, as he noticed that his body was actually absorbing the energy from it. Surprised by it he absored the energy from the crystal as he took off.
Heise didn't notice this but his aura had gotten stronger as his skin had gotten smoother. His face became even a bit devilish, adding another charm to his face. His teeth as well had gotten a bit sharper. He didn't know this but normally someone that hasn't awakened yet even someone that hadn't reached the 400 layer level wouldn't be able to absorb the energy. A low level cultivator would have to slowly absorb it, because the energy is too much for them at that stage. However he managed to sapped it dry in just a few minutes.
Taking off he had many thought in his head. The illusions that the demon ape cast on him being his main focus. He was careful as he rushed ahead. He didn't want to meet the monster that killed the Demon Ape.
[What happened when i passed out? How did i survive that? I'm lucky i survived this time, however i should never let something like this happen again. I need to find a way to hide little blacks aura.] Thought Heise while rushing ahead.
Days passed by in a flash. He was covered in dirt and leaves as he traversed the forest. At long last he saw a huge wall. Even though he was still away happiness could be seen on his face. It had been a long journey, but he had finally arrived to his destination.
Coming close to the city, he noticed how big it was. His eyes opened wide in surprise. The walls were gigantic easily reaching the 70 meters mark. He couldn't believe that a wall of this size was possible. A giant crystal floated on the center of the city.
Heise entered the road as many people were traveling towards the city. Different races other than humans could be seen in the crowd as well, such as Dwarfs, satyrs, Acephali, astomi, Cynocephaly, cat folk and many others. They walked as if everything was normal, no disputes could be seen among the races. Most of the population here was Humans. Since humans were the Race with the largest population on The first layer of the Divine Plain. Thanks to their divine body parts the weren't weak, but rather quite strong.
Entering the gates Heise found Two guards. They were both wearing really well made costumes as their Cultivation level was on display. They both had 300 layers of heavenly energy and they didn't really look that old. In fact they were quite young. Heise noticed that their clothes had a symbol. The symbol Had The word "Bing" On it which made Heise surprised. The symbol was a circle with a crystal on the middle.
Heise Walked to them As he Wanted to Ask them for directions on how to find the Bing Clan Patriarch.
