A few days after the attack
The village had calmed down, but sorrow and sadness could be sensed on the village still. A lot of the Aduls of the village died, leaving many children orphans. This led to a mass of children being left with no family or home. The children were having a mental break down, as they couldn't accept the reality.
The village chief had a grim expression as he counted the people missing and the children that were abducted. After he ran into the village a few days ago to stop the masked people he realized that they really didn't care about the elderly cultivators, as they knocked them unconscious with drugs. However they didn't kill them cause they just couldn't. They elderly compered to them were much stronger than them in while is a sleeping state. This included the village chief that got knocked unconscious from the fatal sleeping drug. Dispite that, some of them tried to kill him which ended into their demise. The chief still didn't know what kind of drug they used to knock them out.
The reason behind the masked peoples attack was to attack and kill leng, but as well as kidnap a lot of kids. The village chief found out why by interogating one of them. He found out that they need kids for a new experiment they were making, trying to create a new assasin group with them. The kids will be brain washed and given hardcore and cruel training. The village chief Calmed down as the days went by.
Haku was worried about Alastor and Heise. Alastor was abducted by Lucifer and Heise's father got really damaged in the fight, His condition extremely severe. With Alastor's Wereabout's unknown and Heise's consern he couldn't focus on himself. He Started training his sword putting all his feeling into them, which slowly polished his character even more. The gem on his forehead shined as it slowly made him feel Jubelated, his stamina returning from the training.
Heise's House
Heise looked sleepless, as his eyes had dark circles under them, his clothes unchanged , as if he hadn't slep for days. Leng was laying on his bed while heise was whiping him clean. He was sweating a lot, while coughing blood. The village chief gave him a diagnosis about his condition. After listening on it Heise's face became ashened with horror as tears poured from his eyes. Apparently Lucifer launched a death seal on Lengs heart. A death seal is something created by Very High ranked Demon's and it so happened that this seal was created by the demon god himself. The village chief could nothing about it since He had to surpress his cultivation.

In the end there was no method for Leng to get saved, the only reason he didn't die immediately was because his divine body part is his heart. Leng smiled while blood dripped from his mouth. He patted Heises hand and shook his head, his eyes filled with care and regret. Heise's tears kept pouring down. He couldn't stop the feeling of loss in his heart, a feeling he had only gotten once when his mother died. He couldn't accept this. Hatred towards lucifer started sprouting in his heart.
Leng removed a neckless from his neck as he handed it over to Heise. He smiled one last time as his heart stopped. Everything stopped at that moment, nothing could be heard. Heise's Eye's where wide open as he looked at his dead father's corpse, his tears pouring even harder. His eyes flashed colors in red and blue, then returned to normal.
*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" A loud scream could be heard as every animal outside trembled, Heise was mentaly broken as he was holding the neckless, his knees kneeling, body bending, as he placed it close to his heart. A sad cry of a child could be heard for several hours.
His mind blank, he looked into the ceiling with a meaningless gaze. He felt empty, hollow. He couldn't accept reality.
A few days later a funeral was held by the whole village for the people killed in the fight, along with Heise's father. Heise's tears had dried on his face, as he wore his best clothes to the ocasion. He returned home with a Bland expression, his eyes losing focus.
"Am i cursed? Am i just not fit for living?" He thought while slowly grabbing a knife from the kitchen. He placed it over his knee and stabbed it as hard as he could, no reaction to pain could be seen on his face, as tears poured out.
A shadow rushed from outside and knocked Heise unconscious. It was haku, he took heise and placed him down. His blue eyes looked disprited as he took care of heises injury. He let him sleep as he looked over him. This situation was hard on him. He couldn't bare to lose another brother.

His parents died outside the village. He grew up inside the village, he was one of its inhabitants. Although he was an orphan he still didn't get disharteaned by it. Due to his high inteligence he was left out in class which led him developing a loner attitude, however he soon found out that there were other children like him.
He started hanging out with Alastor and understood friendship with him. On the other hand Heise came later, however he felt the same feeling that he did on himself, on Heise. A person disconnected from the world. As time passed by he felt that Heise was slowly changing, His heart changing in the process as well. One day they decided to form a brotherly bond, calling themselves brothers, trusting their lives to one another.
Haku became a lot more spirited and happy as time went by, as well as Alastor. It was clear that they were enjoying eachothers company. Heise on the other hand was much slower to opening, however after a while he started opening up, however as time passed by both Alastor and Haku got worried about him. Although Heise was really talented and smart, this was also his flaw. He is too smart for his own good. The paranoia creeping inside him.
Thanks to the repited attempts to help Heise he slowly got more and more open, showed him emotions more and more. However a small accident made them realize that Heise was Too ruthless and fearless. One day when they were hunting Both of them were knocked out, which almost got them killed. It was from a monster attack, however it was a weak one. But for a child even the weakest monsters could easily kill them. Heise went on a rampage, not knowing what was going on, He ended up covered in scars and wounds, Blood covering his whole body. The monster died a miserable death.
He returned to the village carrying Haku and alastor and passing out right there. He didn't remember anything from that day and he went on his usual life as if nothing happened. His wounds also Healed in the matter of hours which should've been impossible.
Haku realized that Heise, although was the smartest and the most talented from the Three of them, he was weak mentally and immature when it came to everyday things. He was expecting a situation like this, when he heard his father died, so he was prepared. Heise was too Weak minded for something like this. The crystal on Haku's forehead shone as it calmed him down. It was the only thing that was left for him by his parent's. The village chief said it is Family heritage.
He played around with his sword as he was waiting for Heise to wake up. A few hours later Heise woke up and looked at the whole scene as he bitterly smiled. His wound had already healed. Haku hugged him while patting his back
"Dont worry we are here for you. You can't disgrace your father with such a way of death. You need to be strong for him, become stronger than anyone for him" Said haku while looking at Heise straight in the eyes.
Heise nodded while tears rolled out from his eyes. After he calmed down he took the neckless his father gave him and gave it a better look. He noticed that it had a weird shape to it, as if it was some sort of button. He placed his finger on it, a large ammount of patterns and symbols apearing everywhere. A Minature Leng was created in the neckless.

Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. As the first modern war came to a close in November 1st, 1918, rows of passed juveniles laid the battlefields. Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again! Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)
