《Black Ice》Chapter 3

A small black bird flew in the skies at it slowly went down. It landed on a small child. The child looked around the age of 2, it was standing on a meditating position while its breathing was calm. If anyone were to see this child he would be rather suprised, since the child looked like a porcelain doll. Its skin was really white and its hair jet black. It had a small mole on its right cheeck while its eyelashes were big. Even though its eyes were closed one could clearly see that they were quite large.
"Heise You should stop meditating and come, you are late for school." A man shouted as he walked towards The child.
The child opened it's eyes, as a ripple filled the air. The child smiled happily as it got up and ran towards the man while shouting "I'm coming!".
The Man smiled while grabbing the child on his shoulders and slowly said "Sir Dom is waiting for us so ill be picking up the speed, you ready?"
"Yes!" Said the child.
The man took on a pose as he held the child tighly. He placed one foot forward and in the next moment disappeared from the spot in an instant and apearing inside a small classroom. It was pretty well made with a slightly blue color and design to it. The lights were controlled by some kind of crystals. A floating board could be seen. The clothing of the people reminded one of traditional chinese clothing with the clothing of the ancient greek.
A middle aged man was sitted there while teaching a few kids the alphabet. He smiled when he saw The man with the child as he said "Brother Leng, its really been hard for you. To keep a tab on this trouble maker everyday. To think that he is only 2."
"hahahaha brother Dom, Its just part of being a parent i guess. Well i brought this little rascal, so i will be leaving." The man smiled while leaving the child down.
The child went to its seat and sat down. It looked around as it saw the other children. Most of the kids were around the age 4-5 and even some of the age of 6 were sitted in a corner of the room.
The man left as the middle aged man rang a bell. All the kids sat down to their sits as they waited for the teacher to start his class.

"Today we are doing another Alphabet and basic arithmetics. Once we are done you can all go draw or play." The teacher said with a smile.
All the children were laughing as it had been a few days of straight studying so they were getting bored. The little boy Raised his hand. The teacher saw this so he asked " Is there a problem heise?".
"umm... Teacher i already learned the alphabet and the arithmetics." A small and cute voice sounded as the little boy blushed.
The teacher laughed while looking at the child and shaking his head. "You don't have to go so far to dodge class heise."
"but teacher im serious, you can test me if you want."The child said with confidence.
"ah... what will i do with you. You are too smart for your age." The teacher sighed while seating down. He continued by saying "Ill prepare the test for you right now. If you fail youll have to do class like the others."
The child nodded as it lowered its head while waiting. It played with its fingers as if it was calculating something.
[Little heise, sorry but i need you to be devoted to your studies. We cant have you be dumb.] Thought the teacher as he brought out an exam test for adults. It contained mostly mathematics and some basic language problems. Normally if you were to give this test to a grade schooler they would 100% fail.
The teacher handed the boy the test paper as he went back to his desk and started the class.
The child looked at the paper before a smile could be seen on its face. [this guy actually put on a test for junior highschool students to a 2 year old. Did i exibit too much knowledge? Well that was a mistake, but it cant be helped i want more knowledge and history books. Also the thing the adults call "cultivation" intrests me. It reminds me of the chinese novels i read back on earth. Well Ill just have to ask father for history and martial arts lessons later, lets finish this test really quick.] As he quickly finished the test, he closed his eyes while thinking about things.
[I've been given the same name as my previous life. Father said that its a name given to me by mom. Fathers name is Leng while his surname is Bing, which means my full name is Heise Bing. The place im currently staying at seems to be a village in the middle of nowhere. The forrest around is too big, i've been exploring the perimiters everyday and it doesn't seem that there are any paths or roads. The technology and language are different here as well. The language kind of reminds me of greek but not really, Thank god that i have really a quick knowledge absorbing body at the moment, Even though it would probably be as easy for me in my previous life to learn it. Now the technology, Its too weird. They use something called "Heavenly energy" as a power source. Other than that the only thing that is different than earth is that there is no internet, computers and phones. Cars cant be seen anywere as well. It reminds me a lot of the 1990's. However it feels like this world is more advanced than earth. The body parts of the other people around me seem weird as well, they are black like space, as if the light that touches them is not being reflected back. Now that i think about it, do i have a weird body part like that? I haven't seen my reflection the whole 2 years. I should probably do it later." As Heise was having all those thoughts the teacher was above him. He noticed that Heise was just staring down on the paper with a blank look so he was expecting his plan to have worked.

To his surprise He was totally wrong. Heise got out of his dazed state as he saw the teacher. He gave the paper to the teacher as he waited for him to check it. The teacher took the paper as he slowly read the answers. His face slowly transformed from suprise into complete horror. He turned around and looked at heise with a horrified look as he slowly muttered "im... impossible... How could a 2 year old anwser a test for Junior highschool students that easily... No this isn't even answering them, this is giving the paper tips. How can a kid at the age of 2 have the knowledge of a teacher? Impossible." The teachers mind blanked as he looked in stupifaction.
[poor teacher, i didn't want to do this to him, but he had it comming for trying to fool me.] Heise thought.
"Teacher do you mind if i were to scroll through the history and the fundementals of cultivation books?" Heise said with hesitation. He himiself had no idea about those things, as his toddler curiosity couldn't leave him alone.
The teacher took in a deep breath as he nodded his head while asking Heise to be quite with this matter. He didn't want to become a laughing stock of a teacher in the village. Class went as it normally would, with the teacher trying to teach the kids the alphabet and arithmetics.
Heise went into a corner of the room where the library was located and picked up a book. It was called World history and seemed more like a story book, but for some reasone Heise was really attracted to this book. As he flipped the book he was surprised by the first few words. "The Creator is what gave us life, The god of our universe." Heise pondered over these words with forrowed brows. [Does god really exist? Is this just a religion or just a myth? Why do i feel like this is true. Something is bugging me about this matter.] He frowned as he couldn't understand the feeling. He continued to read through the book "The creator created 9 primordial gods, that populated the Divine Planet. The 9 Primordial gods Splt into 81 different existences that were called gods. The Offsprings of those gods were called mortals and became the citizens of the Divine Planet. The mortals themselfs have unique aspects, Some Races are born with unique body parts while others with innate strengths. Some have a different cultivaion system but the system is usually the same for races in general."
[huh isn't this supposed to be a myth or something? Why does this feel like it's actually what happened more and more? But i feel like a really important part is missing... Something that ties everything together. Also what are the levels of cultivation and why haven't the children learned about it yet? It seems most of the adults know them from what i've seen. They really are powerful, especially the village chief, he always gives me chills whenever i see him, as if im looking at a mountain, He is quite friendly though] As heise's thoughts went wild like usual, the bell rang.
