Luana and Maya were preparing to take a bath.

they wanted to wash away the exhaustion caused by this long day, Raven was still unconscious laying down next to the fire, he looked a lot better now.

“Why are you two running away”

Luana asked , Raven hadn't give her an answer and she had grown even more curious, and thought that maybe Maya would give her an honest answer.

They had stripped and were completely naked , bathing in the river. Surprisingly enough the water wasn't that cold it was lukewarm, they felt extremely relaxed, forgetting for a moment the many struggles that were still to come.

“It was all my fault”

Maya said in an apologetic tone.

Maya felt guilty, she felt it was her fault that they had got in this much trouble within such a short amount of time in the city.

“Surely, you’re overthinking it”

Luana felt sympathy for Maya and tried to comfort her

“If I wasn’t with him those guards definitely wouldn’t have approached him”

From Maya's eyes tears started coming out , tears filled with guilt and sadness.

Under the moonlight , Luana tightly hugged the little girl as she cried away her sorrow.

Luana and Maya abruptly stopped beating him up, and hurriedly dried their bodies before putting on clothes again.

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

After finally calming down, Luana asked worryingly

“Yes , I am fine now thank you”

Raven was feeling much better now , but was still pretty tired.

“Don’t push yourself too much, go rest”

Luana thinking about Raven's well being advised.

Raven decided to take her advice and went off to rest, Luana and Maya soon after went to sleep too.

In the Empire of Radus, the king was currently having a discussion with his fellow advisors in the war room .A room in which strategic decisions are made especially where military or political decisions are made but can encompass trade as well, six people were all sat in a rounded table, they were currently discussing the course of action they should take in such situation.

“We should attack them while we can!”

One of the man said in determined tone.

“No, attacking them too carelessly can be a fatal mistake”

Another man rebutted

“But we can’t waste this chance , we might not have another chance to seize superiority over the Empire of Kadrun”

Another man Augmented

“We can’t afford to engage a war now , and we don’t know what the Empire of Kadrun is planning , we can’t be rash”

A man hurriedly said

They were desperately arguing trying to find the best course of action to take.

“I don’t plan on starting a war, we still have room for growth and i don’t plan on hindering it”

“A war would be disaster for both sides, even if we came out on top, we would suffer many losses. Currently we have the upper hand over them waging a war would be foolish”

Luria the king of The Empire of Radus was known for being for being wise and careful, he would never step on glass.

“And staking the people’s life in a war that can be avoided, is something that i will never do”

“Then what does your highness suggest we do”

One of the man said in a respectful tone

“I think it would be more wise to suggest an alliance”

The king calmly stated.

“An alliance?”

“What good would a alliance do us”

The King’s ministers questioned him.

“It can guarantee peace for years to come, and we can also incentivize trading and immigration between the two empires."

"Both parties would have something to gain from this alliance being formed.”

Luria carefully explained it to his ministers.

“There are many other continents out there, we can’t know for sure when our continent will be threatened by an outside force so we need to join forces as soon as possible.”

“But how should we go about proposing this alliance”

A minister asked

“I will send my son and my daughter as ambassadors along with a group of soldiers as there guard's to Kao, to propose the alliance."

“That should make my intentions clear”

The king said and with that he ended the discussion and was leaving to his study room.

“Call Shira and Shir to my study now”

The king stated before he left.

“Yes, your highness”

I sure hope things go as well as planned.

The king thought with some pessimism
