Upon entering the city, Raven was shocked at how much more developed the capital was compared the cities he had visited before.

The buildings and house were much more majestic, the shops had glass show windows,there wasn’t in any of the shops in Erude, the houses overall were much bigger and were obviously made of higher grade material , almost all the houses had exquisitely detailed designs on their gates that gave off a feeling of aristocracy.

But there was a huge castle that stood out apart from the other buildings, it was clearly at a whole new level it caught the eyes of anyone or anything that was currently walking around the city.

From a far Raven could see that the architecture of that castle was unique he had never seen anything quite like it in this world, the castle was enormous it stood above all other buildings inside Kao , it’s carefully made structure and how incredibly strong it was amazed Raven.

The city had large paved roads, that fancy carriages passed through.

As Raven and Maya walked around aimlessly in awe, there many differents shops that sold expensive jewelry this was clearly a district for the upper class , the men in the streets were mostly wearing elegant suits and the women were wearing incredibly fancy dresses that were clearly made from the best silk available.

“This town really is impressive”

Raven said in surprise.

Maya was equally amazed at how stunning the city was, she looked like a lost rabbit not knowing where to look at.

Raven and Maya being so poorly dressed were feeling a bit out of place.

Raven quickly noticed that they were receiving glares from all over the place, the rich snobby people apparently didn’t like savage looking people walking around them.

Soon enough five guardsmen armed with longspears came towards Raven and Maya.

Raven unintentionally let out a sigh, this was the second time, he had visited a town and instantly met trouble.

Judgemental much?

“Hey you two, this is not a place for the likes of you!”

A guardsman said with contempt as he pointed his long spear at Raven.

Raven never liked having people judge him based on his appearance and was irritated at the guards but decided to keep quiet to avoid trouble.

“We can’t have garbage like you walking around here”

Another guardsman said with a face filled with disdain.

Maya behind Raven was trembling she was scared the terrible memories of the past abuse she had suffered probably had resurfaced in her mind.

Raven looking back and seeing Maya desperately clutching on his arm, got even more irritated if these guardsmen didn’t immediately leave his sight he would probably end up killing them.

“Don’t worry, we were already leaving”

Raven said while trying his best to fake a friendly smile.

The guardsmen suddenly burst out in a hysterical laughter.

“Sorry, but we can’t just let you walk around here, come with us or-”

One of the guardsman that looked like the strongest one was trying hard to stop laughing said in a rather condescending tone but before he could finished he was strongly punched in the chin the man immediately losing consciousence along with a few teeth.

“Wha…”

A young guardsman murmured in disbelief , the strongest guard in their group who was known as one of the strongest guardsman in the city had been defeated in one move.

Before the other guardsmen could even grasp to what had just happened, Raven swiftly kicked the guardsmen to his left in the face then he twisted his body kicking the other guardsmen that was to his left on the abdomen, then he jumped up and kneed another guardsman that was standing still in shock, knocking him out and fracturing his nose.

In a matter of seconds four guardsmen were knocked unconscious , only one was still standing , the remaining guardsman was trembling.

“You will not get away with this”

The remaining guardsman uttered in fear, Raven ignored him and viciously high kicked him in the head, breaking his nose as a result.

Maya stared at Raven in shock , she couldn't imagine he was so strong.

Raven worryingly rubbed his head, he had a bad premonition and regretted what he had just done, then after letting out a sight he immediately grabbed Maya and ran away.

A few minutes later,after Raven left more guardsmen came and the people that had watched the surprising scene reported all that had happened.

“Whoever done this is probably is not someone we can defeat”

They were knocked out in only one move

Another guardsman said as he checked the injuries in the four unconscious men.

“We should report this to the Chief”

One guardsman nervously said

“Yes, let’s go”

The group of guardsmen quickly picked up the injured men and left.

“What”

“What do you mean, some of my men were injured!”

An Angry old man with short white hair and a long white beard shouted, the man was massive over two meters tall and incredibly muscular giving off an incredibly strong feeling.

“Who was it”

“The witness said it was a young man with a black hood and white pants and little girl was wearing a unkempt brown dress”

A young guardsman said cowardly.

“Send all men, we need to capture this person, we can’t have anyone creating a mess in the city especially at such an important time”

The old man quickly ordered.

All the guardsmen without wasting any time left to look for Raven and Maya.
