Raven was taking a stroll outside, it was just after dawn the sun was slowly rising, it was quite chilly outside the air was humid and the breeze was cold, One month had passed since the battle with the king bear, In this past month Raven could only restrict himself to a very light training schedule, his ribs no longer hurt but it still needed some time to fully heal, he mostly went for runs across the village and exploration in the forest which now was much safer due to the bear king being slayed, the bear king was feared by all other animals that resided in the forest and when it was killed, they gradually returned, the village gained with the return of the smaller animals, hunting now was viable again for attaining meat and fur and many other things that were used to better the economic condition of the village.

Coming back from his morning jog, it was still quite early the people were still preparing to go out to plow the fields while others were going fishing or hunting. Raven went home, where breakfast was prepared, there was bread and juice made from the apple like fruit that could be found in the forest, Stan had already left, Stan was like the leader of the workers and always left before dawn to prepare the tools and arrange the workers, Maria was already working on her tailoring now that fur was available for her to use she was creating coats for the harsh winter that would be soon coming.

Raven sat on the empty table and took a piece of bread and poured a cup of juice for himself, he was used to eating alone, in his past life this was a very common occurrence,but somehow he felt a bit lonely now that he had a family.

“Where is everyone” Yaira said while still yawning

“They are all working already, only you can sleep so much” Raven replied as he took a sip of his cup of juice

“Okay, When did you wake up?, I didn’t see you leave”Yaira said as she took a seat next to Raven.

“You have insanely deep sleep, I couldn’t wake up even if i made a racket”

Yaira while rubbing her skin without hesitation says

“I need to sleep a lot, to maintain my beautiful skin”

“No, your just lazy”Raven rebutted her sharply

Yaira quickly becomes depressed but still takes her bread and eats it in a instant.

Raven seeing that Yaira had gone quiet he sighed.

This girl is so troublesome.

“Hey Yaira do you wanna join me after breakfast in I want to go delve deeper in the forest, pick up some medicine herbs and fruits” Raven said while taking another piece of bread.

“O-kay”Yaira answered with her mouth full

This is much better than eating alone, Raven was inadvertently smiling, he was happy that he had a person that would keep him company and eat breakfast with him.

Finishing their breakfast,Raven and Yaira left towards the forest, they took their weapons just in case they stumbled into anything dangerous.

The forest was a great place for gathering unusual herbs and different fruits, when he visited the forest he would see all kinds of different things he had never seen in his past life, there were fruits that he had never seen there one fruit that looked like an apple but it was purple and it tasted like honey it was extremely sweet, there was also a fruit that seemed like a mango but it was smaller and it had a dark grey colour it was a very bitter and it smelled very foul, most animals would avoid it.

“Seriously everytime I visit this forest I am always impressed, after that we killed that bear this place changed so much.” Raven said while admiring the new life that had sprouted in the forest.

“Where are going exactly” asked Yaira curiously,who was walking beside Raven.

“I came here to look for a herb it is hard to find it”he replied

As they were walking through a underbrush there were many big trees around and the trail they were taking was filled with bushes and vines obstructing their vision Raven quickly used his short sword to cut them down and to clear the way.

“Is that a waterfall?”Yaira said while still in doubt.

Yaira remark piqued Raven interest, he immediately headed to where she was pointing

“Lets check it out” Raven quickly said while running.

“Okay but, there no need to run though” Yaira muttered as she ran to catch up to Raven.

“Oh here it is,i found it”

When Yaira caught up to him, she saw a huge waterfall the crystal clear water splashing down making a thunderous sound.

“You found it?” Yaira shouted as she approached Raven he was crouched next to river bank,there were a lot of plants growing there , Raven was quickly picking them and stocking them in his small bag.

“Yes,Lets go now before this deafens us” Raven said as he stood up he had a huge grin, with that they left the deafening sound and the beautiful waterfall behind.

“With this I am all ready to go” Raven said while clenching his fists as they were returning home.

“Ready for what?” Yaira questioned with a confused face.

“Ready to leave the village”
