Their faces completely changed, as I didn’t remember who they were, this made me uncomfortable

“A-are you lying to us,” Kate said confirming that I wasn’t tricking them, but with the guilt I had I lied

“I was just kidding!” I said with a very natural manner as if I did remember them

Everyone was then relieved to hear those words, which made me guilty anyway, but it was better than seeing crying faces

Since they were relieved I was too, even though there was the feeling that I had lied to them

“You had us there for a moment, Yasu!” Claire said

“Let’s go have dinner to celebrate our reunion!” Lily said as raises her fist up in the air and started to march out the door and towards the dining, everyone then followed her out

“Are you going to join us?” Talia asked as she was the last one in the line

“I will join you later” I replied with a happy look on my face

“Oh, ok, you better hurry before Lily takes all the food,” She said as she left the room closing the door as she left

I sighed in relief, but I heard a small voice

“Why did you lie?” the voice asked

I turned to where the voice was, which was under my blanket

Turning over the blanket revealed Kasey, who was clung to my torso

“Ahh, well I didn’t want to see your sad faces” I replied to the little girl

“But it makes me sadder to see you lie,” she added started to tear up

“Ok, ok, I’m sorry I lied,” I said, looking around to see if anyone would help me in this situation, but they all left, so I did one thing I could do, pat her head

It seemed that patting her head, made her more comfortable, as her teary face, quickly turned into a soothing one

“I will not lie again” I also said, continuing to pat her head

But she didn’t reply as she was fast asleep and with the time I have left, I quickly got to work on how to regain my memories

It seems like I do remember everything, except the girls, but I wonder why

After quickly recovering from my losses in this world, I remembered that I was acting as a fiance for 2 girls and that I have to fight their father again…

I also remember the finisher he did to me as well as how I died in this world

After gaining back those losses, I got out of the bed, trying to not wake Kasey up from her sleep as she was tightly clinging to my torso

Getting off the bed, I went to the dining room to join with the rest of the girls

Upon entering the dining room I was reintroduced to the black substance, which I don’t want to name

“Ahh! There he is!” Kate said as she got up from her chair and offered an open seat next to her

No one complained that Yasu was going to sit next to Kate, instead, they seemed frustrated of that fact

Seeing an open seat offered by Kate, I decided to go sit down

“Do you want this or this” Kate said as she showed me 2 plates of what looks like the same food

Not knowing what to pick, I decided to take the one of Kate’s left, upon taking it

I took a good look at the black substance, remembering what experience it gave me

Everyone then looked at me, expecting me to start eating, well except for Claire and Kasey, as Claire seemed to not like it either, and Kasey who was still on my torso

Due to the pressure, from the people around me, I quickly grabbed the spoon and scooped a spoonful of the black substance, and choked it down

The taste of nothingness as well as tastefulness, to me, there was no smell coming from the dish, but there was a taste to it though it was faint and uncomforting

But I had to lie, but the promise I made with Kasey, wouldn’t let me

I said, “It is ...unique, I guess”

“I know right!” Kate said as she took in more of the black substance

“Are you sure you should be eating larger quantities of them,” I said, looking at Kate

“Yeah, yeah, it’s fine,” she said with her mouthful, chewing on the food

I then looked at Claire, who looked at me, giving me a suspicious look

“Hey, Yasu, if you remembered us, what are our names?” Claire asked

Everyone then stopped eating, including Kate, who stopped chewing and kept the food in her mouth like a chipmunk

Knowing I was busted, I attempted to use my demon eyes, but it was no good, as it didn’t reveal the names of them, though I swore I remembered it doing so

My demon eyes have failed me, running out of options, I decided to tell the truth

“The truth is… I don’t remember you…all” I said

And once again their feelings have changed
