《My Main Weapon .... Is A CLOAK?!?!》Training

“So once again, how do we plan to train in 2 days that would be sufficient enough to beat your dad?” I asked
“Good question” she replied
Then silence filled the room
“You don’t have any ideas, don’t you?”
“You’re right, I don’t have any ideas”
“Then we are screwed,” Talia said
“If you don’t beat him when he comes home…” Talia expression then changed from scared to grossed out
“We will have to be engaged with-with-with them…” Talia then fainted
Yasu quickly caught her, before she could fall on to the ground
“Is your sister going to be ok”
“It is mother, but yeah it is going to be ok”
“She still is admitting that it is her mother, even though Talia being engaged by someone”
“Alright then” Not going to bring up the mother/sister conflict again
I then set Talia on the bed that I just played in and started to leave
“Wait, where are you going?” Lily asked
“I’m going to find a way to train by myself, you can stay here and watch over your sis-, mother”
“Oh ok then, see you later, I guess”
I then left the room and headed outside, to find a way to train and getting better within 2 days
“I could just keep using the moves provided for me to enhance my cloak”
“Ok, that’s an idea, let's do this!”
I was high in spirits and started to with that tactic
I first found a rock, making sure it wasn’t a golem this time, but a normal rock
And started to hit it, I know it is boring and tedious to do this, but it was the only way to get ‘stronger’
A hit, after a hit, and another hit using different skills, which only swept and whip
Advertisement
It wasn’t before long before, both my skills were maxed out
The only thing that changed when I maxed out those skills was that my sweep skill can take down any and all enemies, which I would say pretty convenient, but it still did no damage, which was the downside
“Looks like, I have to rely on my ‘whip’ skill unless I get a new skill by repeatedly ‘grinding’ levels for my cloak and myself”
I decided to stop hitting the rock when I ran out of energy and then started to head by to Lily’s castle, though I felt like I should’ve gone back to Mist’s castle
When I was at the castle, I found out that it was looking good as new again
Upon entering I would see that Lily and Talia wasn’t there to greet me, but instead in the castle in the dining room ready to eat
As I went in they saw me and restrained themselves
“Ahh, it seems you came back,” Talia said
“Yeah, we were just about to eat”
“Do you want to join us”
“Sure” as I took an open seat at the large dining table
“Ok, so what is there to eat, I asked?”
“We start off with this” as Lily opened the lid covering the food to reveal this dark substance, similar to Athena’s dish, though it seem to have a dark aura emitting out of the dish
“Is that safe to even eat?” I asked
“Oh of course it is, I mean look how edible it is,” Lily said as she starts to drooling
“It may look repulsive to your tastes, but I rest assure you this food is safe to eat as well as the food that we eat here in the Abyss”
“Can it get better than this” as a point at the dish that Lily was drooling at

“Nope,” Talia said nonchalantly
“*Sigh*”
And with a sigh, I took a spoonful of the dish surprisingly it was pretty good
“Well, is it good” Seeing Lily looking at me
“...Yeah”
“So do you want more?” as Lily started to open the lids of all the dishes that are present on the table
“Look at all these foods!” Lily said as she drools as she looks at every dish, but to me, all the dishes looked exactly the same
“They may look the same, but they must be different in taste!”
I then started to take a bite of every single dish… and sadly…. THEY ALL TASTED THE SAME
Losing my sense of taste, I looked at how Talia and Lily enjoyed their food
They were eating nice and quickly as if all the food tasted and looked great
While in the middle of eating, Talia sees that Yasu wasn’t eating
“Aren’t you going to eat anything?” Talia said as she handed some of her food to me
“Nah, I’m good, I already got my fill”
“Really?! Alright, then you're missing out!” Lily then started to eat a lot faster
“...”
“Imma go sleep,” I said as I stood up from my chair
“Mhmm!” Lily said as her mouth was stuffed with food
Once I found my room, I jumped on to my bed, though the bed is different from the standard beds, I have seen and have slept on previously during my knockout
The beds were somewhat black in color with a faint red covering the black, the mattress was weirdly squishy and soft at the same time
When I sleep on it, I couldn’t help but feel soothed and disturbed at the same time, an alias I still went to sleep

The Villainess Always Dies (I'm screwed!)
==Currently being rewritten== Thank you commenters for all the advice you've given. I decided to go back and rewrite and add several chunks to the first half of the story before starting the school arc. :) Update: Chapters 1-4 are edited. There will be an additional arc added later.... Not quite sure how that's going to work out with what's already there but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I'll get revenge on my own terms! After experiencing near-death from the plague, Lucina Maelle remembers her previous life as a teenage girl with a heart condition. That girl's favorite video game? Dragon Fantasy XXIV. And who is the wicked villainess from that game, who suffers a horrific death at the hands of the hero? She is! With that knowledge in mind, the solution is simple-- just don't become a villainess. Easier said than done, for even the gods protest her desire for a virtuous life. No matter how Lucina attempts to thwart her future, to ensure justice is achieved, she must go down the path of villainy. Thus, the only solution is to become the ultimate villainess! First, find Valerian, her favorite character who is voiced by her favorite voice actor. He's a part of the hero's party but so long as she meets him first, she knows she can turn him over to her side! Second, become so strong that the hero's party has no chance of defeating her. Third, await the events of the game to begin and spit in the face of gods and fate!Updates Tuesday and Saturday

Aliyah Scionsong is a failed scion of her kingdom: a crumbling desert dominion entombed in poisonous mists, home to murderous Magicians and dimensional libraries bursting with secrets—a place where so-called ‘Healers’ are the most dangerous of all mages. Under pain of necessity, Aliyah has learned the forbidden magics which mold flesh and bone to her will; magic that can heal or harm in equal measure. When a royal execution triggers an imminent battle between the Magicians and a nest of faeries, it falls on her to make some very difficult choices. Save a traitor, become a traitor—she’s thrust into a world beyond the choking mists, where not all is as it seems. But at least she has her stolen knowledge. Perhaps her illegitimate magic will make the path ahead easier. Perhaps not. Meanwhile, ripples of unease spread across the lands; trouble is brewing between faery factions. There’s a disgraced dungeonrunner, and a faery general carrying the broken ghost of her murdered queen. Faeries scheme; the Magicians watch and wait.
