When we reached the main lobby of the castle, I saw a quite average man, he didn’t have any special features, though I am sure his aura would be a different story, I couldn’t see it with my demon’s eyes

When I looked away from the panel, I see that he was looking at me directly, while Talia and Lily came to greet(hug) him, which he greeted them back taking his eyes off of Yasu when he did so

“So who is this man?” the man said as he stops greeting him and points at Yasu

Both their faces then turned a little pale as they started to ignore Yasu

“What man?” Talia said

“Y-y-yeah, what are you talking about, Dad?” Lily started to stutter

“I am the man over there” as he points once again at Yasu

“Oh, he is Talia’s finance and Lily’s engaged person,” Sebastian said, as he approaches the main lobby with Zueg

“What!?” as he then turned his head facing Lily and then Talia, in which they were both scared

“What is the meaning of this?” he asked

“Well, we just happened to have found our man before you told us about the engagement with the other rulers in the Abyss…” Talia said

“Well, that is fine then,” he said as Talia and Lily then finally eased up

“But after I see he is suitable for you” which Talia and Lily then perked up in fear

Still hugging the man, they slowly turned their heads facing Yasu and telling him to get out before things get messy, but since Yasu couldn’t feel his aura nor his intimidation, he remained still looking at Lily and Talia mouthing “Run”

Bad at reading lips, he finally got the message when he got a notification from his panel

“In combat, who though” just as he thought of that the felt a blow from the man, though he only felt the force of the hit, which sent him across the room

Coughing out blood, he then sees the man approach him through the dust

Realizing what was going on, I tried to dodge the next coming hits coming from the man, which did work, but there was nothing to do against him

“Even though I am faster than him, I have nothing to hit him unless I do this!”

Yasu then used this ‘whip’ ability, which did damage, of course, but only at least 10 DMG, which didn’t even phase the man as he kept trying to hit Yasu

This probably when on for a couple of hours, before Yasu ran out of NRG and fainted, the man then realized it and was about to hit him, but decided to stop

“Why did you stop the fight?” asked Lily

“Well can’t you look at him” as he points at Yasu who fainted

“How can you not tell that your engaged person faints, and why would I hit an already fainted man?” he said as he starts to walk away from Yasu, which Talia and Lily then runs to treat him

“So did he pass?” Talia asked

The man then stopped from walking away from Yasu body and towards the door to the outside and turns around to face Talia and Lily

“I am going to arrange your engagement with the 2 other lords of the Abyss”

“I will give him a week to get stronger, to fight me again”

He left the castle leaving everyone else standing there

After a couple of hours, Yasu wakes up from his fainted condition and was then greeted by both Talia and Lily

“Are you ok?” Lily asked

“Yeah, I am good, actually, I am perfectly fine after some rest”

This then triggered Lily, to punch Yasu, which of course hurt

“Ow!” as I then covered the recently received wound

“Why did you do that!”

“You idiot, why do you fight with my dad!”

“It was because he was going in combat with, of course, I would defend myself”

“Then why didn’t you beat him!” Talia then added on

“Yeah” as Lily pressed on to the conversation

“How do I defeat a man, when I can only use my main weapon!”

“Wait, isn’t your main weapon that katana over there” as Talia pointed at the katana that was equipped onto my waist

“No… that is my side weapon and apparently I can’t use sub-weapons when I am in the Abyss”

“If that is the case, why don’t you take Dad to the overworld to fight him,” Lily said

“Is there even another chance?”

“Well, he did say that he will come by after a week to fight you again, once he had made the arrangements for the engagements,” Talia said

“But won’t your dad burn up in the sun?” I asked as I remembered what had happened to Talia when she touched my soon-to-be sun cloak long ago

“No, dad is powerful enough to the point where the sun won’t even hurt him anymore, making him like a normal human in your world” Lily replied

“...Goddamn”

“So how am I supposed to beat a man like him” I then added on

Talia and Lily then looked at each other and then smiled and looked back at me

“We have a perfect way to train you to beat him,” they said

This then made me uncomfortable
