The small city of Bowen was currently preparing for the festivities.

The Wang clan was holding a grand ceremony for the engagement of their young master with Lin Mei.

All of the small clans were invited for the fest inside the wang clan's manor.

Currently, the small clans were trying to cure favor from the Wang clan with flattery, as long as they sided with a soaring dragon, they would also rise.

On the other side of the room, the Lin clan members and elders were sitting. They all had an complicated face, they kept smiling on the outside, but having a bitter feeling in their heart.

After hearing that she would be engaged to the wang clan young master, she felt as if the world crumbeled.

She had met with Wang Wuji once before, after all he was the one who bullied her brother everytime they met on the streets.
