Back in the lab, Samuel, Mandy, Dakota, the counselor, and the police officers continued to watch the big screen. It appeared to be going to black when a signal and a ray of colors grew larger.
The group tried to squint their eyes at what they saw and what just happened. They stood back as a portal submerged in full view.
Out popped Tommy, Maggie, and Antonio in the flesh, alive and well. Everyone’s eyes widened and their mouths gaped open.
“No way, you’re back!” Dakota, Mandy, and Sam cried.
“Dakota!” Tommy exclaimed.
“Tommy!” Dakota shouted with glee.
The two rushed over and embraced. Antonio looked over at his uncle with a tight-lipped half-smile.
“Um, h—hey there. You didn’t see—”
“Oh, Antonio?” Anita asked while crossing her arms and tapping her foot.
Antonio glanced at the woman as his face grew pale. “No way, how did you get here?”
“When this is over, we’re going home to have a little talk.” She answered as she pulled on Antonio’s ear, and he winced in pain.
“Ow, no!”
“What’s going on?” Tommy questioned, looking around. “Why is everyone here all of a sudden?”
“It’s a long, complicated story...” Sam muttered, scratching the back of his head.
“So, um, why did you even go there to the lands in the first place?” Mandy asked Maggie curiously.
“Well...” Maggie was about to respond when her eyes widened. “Oh no, I completely forgot about getting those life crystals!”
“Say no more; I already got you covered.” Tommy addressed as he took out one bright, functional green crystal from his pocket.
“Are you serious? Does that mean we can save my—?”
“Yes, but we have to hurry. Your dad is at the hospital, right?” Maggie nodded. Tommy turned to face his aunt. “Dakota, could you take us there, pronto?”

“Yeah, leave it to me,” Dakota replied as the three headed out of the lab and caverns.

On a distant planet far away, inside a giant spaceship near a big town, Aehaby stood in the center of the area in her light green sequin dress, crown, and goldenrod. Stels, Papeht, and some other people operated the mechanisms, getting ready to depart.
“Hey, Stels?” Aehaby questioned. “Are those people still willing to continue the trade?”
“I contacted the higher-ups ahead of time,” Stels replied. “And they are.”
“That’s fantastic!”
“Hey, guys?” Papeht wondered. “Do you think we’ll ever see those humans again?”
“Who knows?” Aehaby shrugged. “But we shouldn’t worry about that now.”
“So, shall we get going?”
“Yes, set the coordinates and go full speed ahead, team!”
“You got it!”

Some time had passed in the Land of the Unknown. Ruth and Cedric set out to the graveyard site where two pictures stood by along with some flowers below them. The two closed their eyes, clasped their paws together, and bowed their heads.
“Thank you for your contribution, Bertha,” Ruth said.
“You too, father,” Cedric added.
As they opened their eyes, some strange noise occurred as some dinosaurs walked in a line toward some place.
Two Thescelotitans, one pink and one purple, turned to face the bears, as Ruth and Cedric seemed to be confused about the situation. Perhaps talking with them would help get the answer straight.
Ruth couldn’t understand what the two said, though, so his father had to translate it.
“Guess what? Did you hear? They came back to visit again!”
“They? Who are they?” Ruth pondered.
“I think I know who the dinosaurs are talking about; you don’t know yet?” Cedric asked.
It was then when Ruth realized something. “No way, could it be? Are you serious? That’s awesome! Let’s greet them!”
“I couldn’t agree with you more.” Cedric smiled at his son as the two followed the Thescelotitans toward their destination.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.

An Extra-Ordinary Story about Ordinary People
In a different world, a different reality, where ordinary people occasionaly have extra-ordinary powers for no particular reason, we follow a number of characters, trying their best to live in this strange yet normal world. We have our first character, a currently nameless but sentinent creature who happened to find himself in the body of a strange fungus after an unknown incident that robbed him of not only his former body but of his memory, as well. Secondly, we follow Smith, a high-standing man who doesn't even need to explain which Smith he is, on top of the world, yet human enough to meet said fungus. And thirdly, we have another nameless character, who is burdened by the ability to summon things that he doesn't want. A charming gang, who will (most likely) meet at some point. --- All and all, it's a twist on the common super-hero world, where all super-heroes have somehow dissappeared, but not the possibility for new ones. The series that feature the mushroom-dude are the 123 ones, the stories that feature Smith are the ABC ones, and the ones that feature our newest character, the summoner-dude, are the abc ones. Neat, huh? Also, just a word of warning? The 123 ones are kind wierd, and you can skip the first few chapters and go straight to the ABC ones without missing too much. But I'd rather you didn't, since i really enjoyed writing them. In ABC and abc, the format changes to a more typical form, with proper grammar and stuff. So if you dont like the 123, I'd love it if you gave the ABC a chance :^) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!
