His spark twinkled, so dim.

Surrounded by his beloved kin.

Though others had cried and wept,

he wished not to show his regret.

Laying on his deathbed,

his drive for adventure not yet met.

The lamp's luminescence, so full,

outshone his life, quite dull.

A smile on his lips

and with one last glance,

he closed his eyes

and started his advance.

Through time and space,

he traveled to her grace.

His mind stripped bare,

his memories for all to stare.

Her gaze so cruel, so cold,

judged his life like a slave to be sold.

The seconds passing like minutes, nay hours!

His mind not even grasping her powers.

"You shall get your wish,"

the woman spoke in a whisper.

While confusion colored his face,

she sent away the old-timey mister.

His dead spark ignited, now filled with might.

His eyes opened to see quite the sight.

Trees, mountains, and lakes for as far as he could see!

Was this the world in which he was meant to be?

His body no longer old, shriveled and dying,

was young, strong and-... wait flying!?

He crashed into a hill with a loud "BOOM!"

and was quite surprised as it wasn't his doom.

Then with a voice as powerful as the sun,

he declared: "This is going to be fun!"
