Well the novel is on hiatus, life got a hold of me. New job and family issues. Oh the job long hours and such also when I get home I am working on my game, a WordPlay game, a solo project i been working on for a while. I cant art at all. Our protagonist is faced with a great task finding who he is and find his past, overcoming obstacles along his journey. This is my attempt at making a full-dive fantasy. I'm trying to incorporate Social class diversity, Kingdoms, different races, Magic, personal abilities, combat, 7 sins, and 7 virtues, etc. What I'm envisioning is dark yet it has some happy moments. I gained alot of inspiration from the light novel "Ri:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu" Flummen Valle Arc: . . . Flummen ValleSPOILERS duh . . . I am an almighty being trapped in a weak individual's body that contains a lot of potential, after a bit of infighting to test his abilities we set our way to a village to get food, to my surprise there were a couple of tough PIG'S threatening my new student John. After a bit of struggling, I came out and overrid him and took control of his body after I took care of them and laid back to think of the next move I tried to make John take control again but that did not seem to work... I invariably learn some stuff after writing a bunch, finding what works and what doesn't. I definately need to work on paceing and dialouge and flow. The Bracelet I Got Was More Than I Bargained For
Andrew and his friends, Isaac, Lisbeth, and Cameron meet a shady man on the way home from school. This man promises them adventure on another world, called Calorin, if they are willing to help him with an experiment. This experiment requires the use of a bracelet, one that cannot be removed once bonded to but will give them abilities such as healing or enhanced strength. Thanks to some peer pressure Andrew reluctantly agrees to join the experiment. The friends are soon on their way to Calorin but Andrew notices feelings coming from the bracelet, ones that want nothing to do with the strange man. It is just before they arrive at their destination that the bracelet changes everything for Andrew and he finds himself separated from his friends and the strange man. Stuck in the middle of a forest Andrew will need to find out where he is, how to find his friends, and why the bracelet has been acting the way it has. Author's Note:This story is a sidequel/prequel to Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As it only has one or two connected characters there is no need to read one or the other to understand them.
