“Moooooo…MOOOOOOOOOO”, as a couple of scaled cows gather around Rain’s poo covered body. Sounds of loud farts and drips blocked out the sounds of the rooster’s crowing. Rain’s body face down in the pooled up cow mud.
“Ugghh…”, Rain opens his eyes but even before that the smell overwhelmed him causing him to past out.
-3 hours later-
The sun is setting in the east, gradually turns to dusk, the cows standing it a circle. As someone approaches the herd, a farmer in a weird getup composing of a floral green pattern robe with dark green overalls.
“Why are my quiqui in circle? “stated a mage-like farmer in a depressed tone “Why is that mud pile so big, I really need to stop feeding them that low quality sh**.”
As the farmer turns around back towards his home. Rain proceeds to wake up for the Nth time of rapid fainting for horrendous stench. He turns on his back wiping off his face, using the very short time of awareness, quickly looking at his hands.

“Who goes there…I know you’re out there come out or you would have to face me, Joven.” [Joven]
Being as scared as cat, Rain quickly stand up with his hand up,” Ooook…don’t shoot I’m unarmed.” In that very instant, that same dull light hit Rain. “This…F***in farmer lied…” Rain went down face first into the muddy slop.
-Next Morning-
“……”, pitch black darkness, “Where am I…?” Slowly remembering the past events rain gains a fiery passion of hate for some unknown farmer. “**** farmer where the **** are you.”
“Hey, do you kiss your mother with that mouth. You’re lucky I didn’t let you drown in that mud pie. What’s your name, boy?” [Joven]
Rain realized that he was laying on a bed face first, slightly turning his face to the side to see Joven’s face which was similar to the scaled cows.
“My name is Rain. Are you a demon? Why are you herding your own kind that is weird?” [ Rain]
Looking at rain with a shocked face that quickly turn to an angry one. “Rain your as rude as you are racist. To your understanding my mother was not a Quiqui but a minotaur.”

The Girl from the Mountain
Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream
Dying was unpleasant, but coming back to life? How was that even possible? And what are these words that keep appearing before me? This...isn't how life works. Maybe I'm insane. I guess it's time to find out. If I die, will I come back again? Thanks for reading! Please leave a rating or a review! Knowing people are enjoying the story really encourages me to write more. Also, I apologize for the typos. When I get the time, I'll go back and fix them, but they may linger at times. I don't have lots of time for writing, so I'm not always able to do much editing before posting.

The mysterious Harlequin Court seeks to use Ian for their own ends. Fighting, friendship, magic, monsters, mystery, laughter, tears, revenge, war. Let the adventure begin. I hope you all enjoyed the novel and the adventure it took you on. I have a second one in the works, but progress has been slow on that front considering all that is going on in the world today and the nature of my work. I'll be posting chapters from that one in the coming months (with any luck). If you enjoyed this novel please leave a review as I'm always eager to read a critique of my work to improve my writing. - Best regards in these trying times, M.I. O'Flaherty

Whites' Veil
A boy leaves his hometown, tired of his menial life and, most importantly, the poverty of his village. His destination is Rubia, Capital of the Five Continents; and his goal, money to bring home. Though, that may just be an excuse; an excuse for him to leave the confines of his so-far idolised life--a life free from the endless adoration and praise, for reasons he detests. So he invites you to join him, to grow alongside him and to, one day, celebrate next to him. The year is 97c. Welcome to the Pentas Dale. Welcome to Whites' Veil... ‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵ Useful info. Usually, I publish on Sundays, if not, I aim for once a week or attempt to keep at least a bi-weekly schedule. This is a hobby/side project for me so I may go for long periods of time without uploading. I also recommend reading the story with Garamond, as this is the font I use for my manuscripts (obviously optional). ‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵ Links.
