《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 363 - Into The Multiversal Currents
Advertisement
After the sudden burst of light, everyone felt their minds assaulted by a pressure unlike any other…
The sensation of falling was secondary to the pressure, so much so that Alice could only tell she was falling because the pressure would increase as she descended…
Alle and Ella could not withstand the pressure, and were forced to revert to their childish forms as their minds drifted into unconsciousness…
Aurolana was already unconscious, but her grunts of pain showed that she was not unscathed even in her dream world…
Aurolana's wings twitched as if trying to support her weight, but there was no way to stop the falling…
And, as usual, if Aurolana felt the pain, then Zeel also felt the pain tenfold; though, he could manage to just barely cling to his consciousness…
The only person who seemed unaffected was Alice; though, her eyes were widened with terror as she looked at the infinite darkness below…
Everyone was falling into a void of darkness, but for some reason, Alice could no phantom that darkness had so many colors…
If she had to describe it, Alice could only think of a never-ending well…
They were falling through a hole about twenty feet wide from one end to the next… the walls were a thick sludge of darkness that resembled tar…
All the way below, probably twenty thousand feet or so, were black flames mixed with profoundly thin darkness that seemed to separate two versions of reality…
"Don't look at it…" Zeel's voice echoed across the void…
Alice snapped her head to the left, where she saw Zeel pushing Nimrod against the tar-like wall of the void…
It didn't take long for Nimrod to disappear altogether, and Alice was certain that the Homo-Superior Hybrid had been consumed by something terrifying…
After all, Zeel was nothing if not thorough when he killed someone, and if he brought them here, it was because this place was able to kill even immortals…
Codes flickered across Alice's pupils and she instantly recognized where they were – An Abyssal Domain…
Zeel had transported everyone to an Abyssal Domain…
Abyssal Domains were born within the gaps between Universes – a crack between crevices of the Multiverse where everything nasty went to meet its end…
The varying degrees of black instigated different intensities of terror, and all of it was bombarding Alice at once…
Actually, it was for the strength of Zeel's mind holding Alice's mind together, she would have been brain dead a long time ago…
Still, that just added to the pain Zeel was experiencing…
"It feels like a Cosmic Shadow…" Alice noted, referring to the sensations that they would experience every time they entered a new Universe…
"Don't think about it…" Zeel comforted, maneuvering his body in the air to reach Alice's side "This is where things come to die… things that come here never leave…"

"What about us?" Alice questioned…
Zeel pointed at her Mbeamer "We have the only cheat that can get us out…"
Alice maneuvered her body to Zeel's side extracting several vials of pulsing white energy from her Storage Ring…
A single vial would usually be enough to take them across several Universes, but from an Abyssal Domain, Zeel would need them all just to enter the Multiversal Currents…
However, nothing was so easy…
Just as Alice was about to input the vials into her Mbeamer, Nimrod made his reappearance and dragged Zeel into a scuffle…
They both drifted into the tar-like walls for a couple of seconds before reappearing, and drifting back and forth a couple more times…
Each time Zeel disappeared from sight, Alice had the vague sensation that she would never see him again, and in some ways, she was right…
Every time he drifted beyond the tar-like walls of the Abyssal Domain, Zeel was forced to cover his skin with his remaining nanites, saving him from an instant death…
But each time he shed a new Nanite skin, his uploads to the Information Dimension were further corrupted and slowed…
[Nanite Stage 4 Upload to Information Dimension: Alice Crawford – 80%, Zeel Crawford – 60%... (Critical SRNT Depletion)].
Alice maneuvered her body towards the wall, intent on helping Zeel deal with Nimrod but an overwhelming sensation of sickness punched her in the gut…
As a God who was very sensitive to sins, Alice could literally taste the vilest sins in the Multiverse rushing down her throat, attempting to suffocate her…
An Abyssal Domain was one of those places in the Multiverse where she was at an absolute disadvantage…
"DRIFT BACK!" Zeel ordered, shifting both his feet onto Nimrod's chest and pushing him away, further into the Abyssal Domain…
Nimrod was tossed so far down that it would be impossible to pose a problem for Zeel anymore, especially since Abyssal Domains were no flight zones even if you had wings…
Alice tossed the vials into Zeel's hands, hoping he would be able to Mjump them out of the Abyssal Domain, but Zeel had no Mbeamer and the nanites in his bloodstream were too limited to create a new one…
"FUCK!" Alice and Zeel cursed simultaneously as what should have been an easy fix turned into a complex problem…
Alice was falling faster than Zeel due to her lack of air maneuvering skills…
It should have been easy for Zeel to drift downwards and insert the vials into Alice's Mbeamer, but Aurolana, Ella, and Alle were closer…
Saving his soulmate first and foremost was an obvious decision for Zeel, but saving Alice before saving Ella and Alle would not end well for him…
Alice would refuse to be saved before their daughters, and as the bottom of the Abyssal Domain grew closer, there was only time to save Ella and Alle, or Alice…

Zeel spread his arms and rolled in the air, snatching Aurolana into his embrace with a smooth glide that showed his superiority in the air…
For a split second, Zeel's gaze drifted to Ella and Alle, before returning to Alice with determination…
Ella and Alle were indeed his daughters and in some twisted way, he loved them a little but at the end of the day, if he had to choose between them and Alice, the answer was pretty obvious…
Zeel spun with Aurolana in his arms, diving straight downwards towards Alice…
"NO!" Alice yelled, gnashing her teeth in frustration at the fact that Zeel still could not see that some things were more important than logic…
Codes flickered across Alice's pupils as she tried to find a solution that would ensure that Zeel chooses to save Ella and Alle first…
And then realization dawned on her – the answer was Aurolana…
Zeel's near-indestructible Mbeamer was destroyed by pulling an Apollonian across the Multiverse, so that meant that transporting an Apollonian was energy-intensive…
Alice's mind calculated the energy required to transport them all out of the Abyssal Domain, and instantly found her solution…
"You can't transport us all…" She whispered in a nearly inaudible voice, but it was deafening to Zeel's ears because it was true…
For all his godly intelligence he had overlooked the fact that transporting both himself and Aurolana out of an Abyssal Domain was the absolute limits of the five vials in his hands…
At this point, they were only a couple hundred feet above the Abyssal Domain and a choice had to be made…
"Remember your promise to me…" Alice shouted, referring to her discussion with Zeel and Aurolana in their Inbetween Zone…
-------------------
The Inbetween
"We need to talk, Zeel…" Alice mentioned, walking into the white room as if it was completely natural.
Aurolana and Zeel were stunned because this was a location for soulmates, how could Alice possible be here?
"How is she even here?"Aurolana questioned, looking at Zeel accusingly as if he had brought home a pet without her permission…
"I am just as confused…" Zeel replied, rubbing the back of his awkwardly…
Alice ignored Aurolana completely, and walked to Zeel, placing her palm against his chest and synching their nanites "I don't think we can do this anymore…"
Zeel was confused as Alice's emotions bombarded his body "Do what?"
"I think she is attempting to break up with you?" Aurolana questioned, searching for the proper word in her limited human vocabulary "A Divorce I think humans call it?"
Aurolana was not familiar with the nuances of human culture, but she could also feel the feelings Alice was trying to broadcast to Zeel…
"I love you more than anything but…" Alice paused and glanced at Aurolana "You don't know how to love anyone… you treated me and Elizabeth like pets and now that Elizabeth is gone… I just don't believe that you love us enough… you can move mountains for your goals but you could not save Elizabeth's life…"
"YOU CAN'T LEAVE US!" Aurolana burst into anger for a second, surprised by her own indignation…
Of course, she was surprised because it wasn't her own… it was Zeel's indignation buried deep in his heart; though, his confused face showed that he was unaware of what he was feeling…
"I know…" Alice gave Aurolana a comforting smile "I know he is not good with expressing his emotions…"
"Then you know he'll lash out because of this..."
"What if I get Elizabeth back?" Zeel questioned, knowing that losing Alice was not an option, at least not yet…
"Then we can get back together but as of now…" Alice paused and sighed, giving Zeel the look she always would when they hunted zombies together in The Resident Evil Universe "Fuck off, Zeel…"
-----------------
Zeel closed his eyes and replayed the memory…
"Use your ring…" Zeel winced as he gave the instruction to use the final trump card Alice possessed…
Alice extended both hands, transforming Ella and Alle into their Sword Ring forms and summoning them both to her hands…
The moment Ella and Alle were safely in her hands, codes flickered across Alice's pupil as she gave the order for her engagement ring to separate from the Mbeamer…
Every piece of technology she would ever need was integrated into her Mbeamer, but now that Zeel didn't have a Mbeamer, Alice was forced to part with hers…
Alice's Rainbow Crystal engagement ring separated from her Mbeamer, and she tossed the Mbeamer upwards at Zeel who quickly caught it and inserted the energy vials…
"Goodbye…" Alice muttered, activating the reality-warping function of her engagement ring, disappearing from the Abyssal Domain along with Ella and Alle…
With Alice and the girls gone, Zeel felt a pang of sorrow because he was unsure about where they would end up…
The Reality Warping Function of Alice's engagement ring would only ensure that she survived, but he had no idea about much else…
Zeel attached the glowing Mbeamer to his wrist, and hugged Aurolana as close as he possibly could as if attempting to meld their bodies together…
He even made sure to clench his fingers around the base of her wings, forcing Aurolana's body to stiffen…
Zeel glanced down at Nimrod with a smug smile on his face…
"Enjoy your eternal suffering…" he mocked…
"You'll be joining me soon…" Nimrod mocked, pointing at Zeel's ankle where Seth's Mark was still branded…
---TTTWWWRRRRRPPPPP---
All the vials in Zeel's hand emptied, and the void chattered, consuming Zeel and Aurolana into the Multiversal Currents without any clear destination…

The Court of Souls?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— What do we talk about tonight? ~“How about a story?”~ Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one. ~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~ Was it strong then? ~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it? ~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~ So he became a hero and changed the world? ~“…”~ Tell me. ~“Nooo, that's not how the story goes. This isn't a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was... kinder than the rest.”~ A kind demon? How boring. ~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~ So tell the story!

The White Rabbit: Book 2
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Content Warning: This work is based on the real experiences of human trafficing survivors. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics. This work is meant to hold a mirror up to society; it is based on the real of experiences of people who have experienced slavery and/or abuse. It is an adult work and probably should not be read by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a survivor of human trafficing and/or abuse, your feedback is welcome, but please do not read this if you think it may trigger your trauma. I did not write this with the intention of harming anyone, but rather to provide accurate representation for a group that does not normally get it in the hopes of changing the zeitgeist. I would like to see a world where more people understand what these experiences are like, so that real survivors do not have to deal with microagressions from an ignorant public. Reader discretion is advised. This book does not display these elements as heavily as book 1.
