《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 339 - Didn't See That Coming

Zeel attempted to stand up but the pain that shot through his body told him that his legs were probably broken in several places.
His healing factor would repair everything but there was always a slight decrease in quality every time a section of his muscles were repaired.
Some Death-Energy also mixed with his Internal Energy creating no small amount of pain and deterioration.
"Fuck… so close!" Zeel complained, digging his hands into the ground and pulling his body towards Seth's Crystal Throne in the distance.
The closer Zeel crawled towards the Throne, the more pressure would weigh on his shoulders, sinking him more and more into the ground.
Eventually, too much time passed and Seth had recovered.
Step
Step
Zeel felt a hoof pressed on his back and he smiled wryly "I thought I could reach it but no matter how fast I crawl… it's always just out of reach…"
Seth smiled appreciatingly as he increased the strength of his hoof on Zeel's back "You're a strange Homo-Superior… you don't care about anything and you're a killer down to the bone…"
"My parents made me that way…" Zeel replied, twisting his body so that Seth's hoof was now on his chest.
Zeel noted that Seth appeared exhausted but also somewhat happy even though his Dimension had been severely damaged and it would require thousands of years to recover.
Seth laughed nonchalantly "You don't know how right you are… did you know that Nimrod was also a participant in your creation – Project Pinnacle right?"
Zeel frowned, not saying anything in reply since he wasn't exactly sure of what to say but as long as Seth kept talking, Zeel was sure that he would be fine.
As far as what Seth knew about the experiments that created him, Zeel could care less. He wasn't the type to worry about the past, present, or even future… as long as he survived, Zeel didn't care about much else.
"I can tell that you are confused…" Seth stated, removing his hoof from Zeel's chest "The Absolute erases all traces of Homo-Superiors in the Multiverse but somehow… some unknown way… you and your sister are not erased immediately?"
"The Absolute can only erase Beings that identify themselves as Homo-Superiors by using our special traits… I have a heart, bone structure, and lungs like a human so the Absolute won't find me…" Zeel replied.

"NO!" Seth shouted angrily "You were the first trial run to see what a Homo-Superior could be… then the technique was perfected with your sister… long before that, your father's power was stripped to give birth to you… your mother was a Eutopian High God/Homo-Superior Hybrid…"
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Zeel shouted with mock anger "We would never allow that!"
Seth shook his head in disdain "Every creature the Homo-Superiors have knowledge of was gained by dissection and torturous tests to determine if they were a threat to your race…
What do you think they do with all that knowledge? Do you really think they wouldn't use it to create something truly horrific? Something they can control to fight against all threats…
They created a 'Zeel Crawford' but when that wasn't successful, they created a 'Catherine Crawford' and when Universe Zero was on the verge of destruction… your Homo-Superior Council wanted to return to their roots…"
"What are you saying?" Zeel asked confused, his brows frowning but as much as he tried to avoid the thoughts, he was sure that he understood what Seth was implying.
"You're a smart species… what do you think The Homo-Superior Council did?" Seth asked playfully.
"You're saying I have a child somewhere?" Zeel asked angrily, knowing that it wasn't true but the mere thought of such an inconvenience made him bitter.
Seth shrugged "You are trial one of the experiment so they wouldn't allow you to repopulate the Homo-Superior Race… more than likely your sister is pregnant or your parents have a next child…"
Zeel propped his body off the ground and rotated his aching shoulders "Why are you telling me this?"
Seth shrugged "Because I can see that you're truly at your limits… Your next move is either to fight without power now that your divinity is completely depleted or explode yourself with your Homo-Superior failsafe but the Absolute would erase you before the explosion is completed so I would still live…"
"I am waiting for an offer?" Zeel requested seeing that Seth was dancing around the issue.
"I need your nanite technology…" Seth stated plainly "Specifically, I require your Immortal Nanite Technology…"
Zeel's eyes widened in surprise since Seth had basically just told him everything he needed to know.
"What do you know?" Zeel asked cautiously.
"Homo-Superiors are, at their core, Beings made of complex codes but only one code that matters known as 'Life Code'…" Seth stated.

Zeel nodded "That's basic knowledge…"
"The Absolute erases all traces of Homo-Superiors in the Multiverse but Immortal Nanite Technology is not called as such because it heals all bodily injures to Homo-Superiors…
Immortal Nanite Technology makes Homo-Superiors immortal using a completely different method from all other species – at the moment of death, INT stores all Homo-Superior Codes in the Information Dimension…
Slowly, that code is uploaded into the Information Dimension and rejected a little later when that Dimension determines it is a virus of some kind…
The Information Dimension then spits out the virus into the Physical World resurrecting the 'virus' or in this case, Homo-Superior…"
Zeel frowned "That knowledge is a bit higher up but not unexpected that you would retain some of those important memories from Nimrod…"
"When the Absolute erased your people… they were uploaded into the Information Dimension. Usually, they would be spat out immediately but the Absolute deleted their life code which is the 'virus' part of your natures…
Homo-Superior Aether holds the quintessence of all Homo-Superiors who ever lived… You combine all that quintessence with the residual Homo-Superior code that is trapped in the Information Dimension and you have a basic resurrection…" Seth stated, looking pleased with himself.
Zeel shook his head mockingly "You have no idea what you're talking about… Looking at you is like looking at an adult trying to learn the human alphabets..."
"Then explain it to me…" Seth challenged not believing Zeel's rejection.
"I would…" Zeel said, smiling a bit "But it looks like none of us will live long enough to hear the full story…"
"Wh-"
Seth started speaking but quickly threw up a mouthful of black blood. Zeel similarly threw up red-golden blood and slumped to his knees as his body vibrated into a blur.
Inside of Zeel's mind, the upgrading nanites were sending notifications '[Nanites Stage 4 Upgrade: Life Code transmission into Information Dimension in progress]'
"You?"
"Ate you throne and a portion of your soul trapped within the throne while you were performing a villainous speech?" Zeel joked, pointing to his feet where a silver line could be seen extending from the tips of his boots all the way across a mile stretch to the shoulder of the Titan.
Zeel sighed and looked at the surprised Seth a bit sympathetically "You think too much like a human – I need my nose to breath… crushing my skull will kill me because my brain has to stay inside my head… I have to consume objects through my mouth…
I am a Homo-Superior… we usually do things the most efficient ways. You were there chatting while I was upgrading my nanites and preparing for the end of this battle…"
"You have no more cards to play!" Seth shouted angrily, his Scythe materializing inside his hands and blazing with Death-Flames.
Swish
Seth took a swing with all his might, the Death Dimension narrowed to allow Zeel no space for escape.
Even the ground was hardened into diamond-like material just to stop Zeel from finding any way to escape.
However, Zeel didn't panic one bit, just as Seth's scythe was about to dissect Zeel from head to toe, a strange object materialized in Zeel's hands…
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Seth gave an inhuman scream filled with the pain of a thousand years as The Abyssal Bead materialized in Zeel's hands.
Truly, even Zeel was a bit cautious when he used the Abyssal Bead since it sent shivers down his own spine as well…
"Truly a terrifying Being…" Zeel whispered, thinking about The Ghost Rider from which he extracted the Bead.
Seth fell to the ground, desperately trying to crawl away from the terrifying object within Zeel's hands.
Zeel walked patiently to Seth's side and placed his left foot on Seth's head "Everyone crawls before me eventually.
Don't feel too bad… more superior Beings than yourself have bowed before me… one of them was even an Alternate Version of Seth – God of Death…
He licked my toes… would you like to lick my toes as well? You are a part wolf so…"
In the midst of Zeel's bragging, he felt a slight poke at his back and the next second he was penetrated by a lance through and through.
"You're h-h-hurt-hurting m-me!" Nick stuttered, his eyes in a daze not fully understanding what he had done. He only wanted the pain to stop and killing Zeel was the way for the pain to stop.
Zeel smiled bitterly as he looked at the angry Seth beneath his feet "I have to admit… I didn't see that coming…"
