《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 328 - The Malevolent Gaze That Burned A Dimension

The moment Zeel landed the attack, he was certain beyond any doubt that he was fucked.
When the attack landed, Alice and Elizabeth were instantly pulled out of the powerful illusion Seth had cast prior to the start of the battle.
They shuddered at the thought that had Zeel not been there, they would have simply stood there unaware as they were killed.
'Truly no teacher like experience,' Alice thought bitterly.
The inexperience of her and Elizabeth would have led them to death even when their power should have been more than sufficient to defend themselves.
However, when Alice and Elizabeth awoke from the illusion, they awoke to a world that was spontaneously exploding.
Neither women had a chance to react before they were engulfed in heat as strong as the sun but thankfully, death never came.
The nullification runes on Zeel's, Alice's and Elizabeth's armors were just barely able to handle the impact of nearly a million tons against their breastplates.
The heat that reached as hot as the sun for a couple of minutes scorched their throats dry but Alice naturally had a better time adapting to this change of temperate.
She was a God of Punishment and Retribution and such punishments usually came in the searing heat of Hell Flames.
Still, even with the armor made from Zeel's Gravitational-Balls, Alice and Elizabeth were being pushed back steadily by the force of the dwindling explosion.
Alice was the first to notice that something was wrong when Zeel remained suspended in the air, still in the position of performing a blade strike like he was struggling against something.
"Medium and Fluid and Suspended Solids and Pressure and Flow and Filter and Graphene Membrane and Restrictions and [Smoke Filtration]!" Zeel yelled loudly.
At first, Alice and Elizabeth were unsure of what Zeel was doing but the nanites in their minds quickly made the connection between the random phrases Zeel was spouting and the process of Human Filtration.
The smoke cleared away in an instant but nothing amazing really happened.
The radiation in the air didn't reduce, nor did the heat case to exist, the flames and smoke simply rose into the air, clearing the battlefield for all to see.
And that's when they saw it…
Zeel knew he was fucked the moment the attack landed because he could feel the Earth rending for twenty miles but the explosion he used should have shredded the Earth for a hundred miles.
That begged an obvious question that Zeel, even with his endless curiosity, was not so excited to answer – Where did the rest of the energy from the explosion go?
The answer became painfully obvious as the smoke cleared and Seth was revealed in all his glory clutching the tip of Zeel's blade between his claws without as much as a scratch on his body.

The formless energy of a thermo-nuclear reaction sizzled between Seth's fingers as he managed to contain a huge part of the energy that should have caused the explosion.
"There was once a time when such a pitiful explosion would have never even been allowed in my Dimension," Seth stated factually without care for Zeel's struggles to remove the blade from between his fingers.
"I have fallen great heights… but I don't need all my power to add a second pitiful Homo-Superior to my Divine Form," Seth stated, running his fingers along Zeel's blade as Zeel remained frozen in the air.
"Have back the pitiful energy you so treasure," Seth said, tapping Zeel's chest as the unexploded energy of the thermo-nuclear reaction detonated.
*BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!*
*BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!*
Zeel flew through the air, the wind and every other internal organ knocked out of him effortlessly by Seth.
The armor held against the blast but even Zeel's Divine-Veins were damaged somewhat.
[Deep Time-Zone]
Zeel entered a different Time-Zone mid-air as he was blasted away by his own attack. One second stretched to three minutes as Zeel unfurled his Draconic Wings to rotate his body mid-air.
However, the moment Zeel managed to gain some leverage mid-air, he found a massive, clawed hand gripped around his face like a small orange in the hand of a mortal man.
*BBBBBBAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG*
There was no time to run complex coding, Zeel felt his face meeting dirt with an impact that rattled his brain – the most important organ for a Homo-Superior.
Everything happened within a micro-second but Alice and Elizabeth witnessed it all with frightened faces.
They knew they would be fighting against insurmountable odds but even Zeel was getting his ass whooped without even lifting as much as a finger in self-defense.
What could they do when Zeel couldn't do anything?

'Think Alice, fucking think Alice!' Alice yelled inside her mind, trying to find a way she could intervene in the battle that had all but become a blur at this moment.
Alice and Elizabeth were forced to retreat into their mind-space since the battle was too fast for them to process outside of it.
This way they could have a lengthy conversation in a micro-second.
'He used Science…' Elizabeth stated, also talking to Alice through their thoughts 'Specifically, he used Human Science and not Homo-Superior Science,'
Elizabeth realized that Zeel was not using his divinity as much and opted to use Human Science in the battle.
'Of course, Homo-Superior Science would be deleted by the absolute, and Zeel wouldn't risk that,' Alice answered instinctively to Elizabeth's observation and then had an idea.
'Before the battle started, Zeel said our divinities would be restrained and we had to think of unique ways to use them,' Alice proposed, feeling a brilliant idea dawning on her.

How do you defeat a God of Death in his own Dimension? By using things that are outside of his control.
Gods cannot combat what they do not understand fundamentally and Science has always been the banes of Gods since it was conceived.
However, Zeel's science approach would not work for Alice and Elizabeth so they had to draw a tangent from such a method to find their own unique way of fighting.
∞∞
Alice and Elizabeth exited their mind-space, the shaking and booming of the ground told them that Seth had just landed another attack on a struggling Zeel.
[Wings of Heaven]
Alice soared into the skies using Heavenly Flames that were weakened but not banned due to the righteousness burning inside her heart.
Alice looked upwards and noticed the huge cloud of flames that lingered in the air from Zeel's earlier Thermo-Nuclear explosion.
A God of Punishment and Retribution used Flames as their main attribute and if she couldn't create her own flames in Seth's Death Dimension, Alice would use what was offered.
Alice flew into the clouds of Flame above and desperately started to shape the Flames in the air into something that would match her preferences.
Soon, a skull of blue flames overtook the skies of Purgatory causing the one-sided brawl between Seth and Zeel to paused for a nano-second.
Luckily, a nano-second was more than enough time for Zeel to do many things.
"Amplitude and Frequency and Period and Force and Seth's Natural Frequency and Oscillation and Dynamic System and Relative Maximum and Vibrational Energy and …
Acoustic and Electromagnetic and Nuclear and Electron Spin and [Super Sonic Resonance Phenomena]!" Zeel chanted and then clapped his hands immediately after.
*UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*
*UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*
Henry, Jenny, Ahmanet, Elizabeth, and Himiko shouted in pain as they grabbed their heads and rolled around on the ground, but none had it worse than Seth who had allowed Zeel to be so close to him.
Zeel was always planning a step ahead so even if he couldn't match Seth physically, Zeel made sure to calculate Seth's frequency while getting a thorough beat down.
If Zeel Crawford was going to be beaten within an inch of his life, then he would be beaten the right way!
Seth clutched his dog-like head and screamed in pain as his body resonated with Zeel's violent super-sonic attack.
However, it was merely an unexpected inconvenience for Seth and nothing more, Zeel was merely trying to buy enough time for Alice's attack.
[Malevolent Gaze]
Alice, who had finished forming the entirety of the cloud of flames in the night skies into an enormous blue skull, opened the eyes of the skull with great concentration.
Alice's gaze was not directed at anyone in particular but she had an even larger goal. Alice's gaze scanned the Death Dimension for as far as she could see, burning wondering souls to oblivion.
This was Seth's Dimension and that meant that the Dimension itself was a part of Seth so Alice wanted to burn the souls in the Dimension in hopes of weakening the God.
And her plan worked, Seth who was mildly disoriented from Zeel's sonic attack, clutched his chest and screamed in pain while rolling around on the ground.
Alice's [Malevolent Gaze] was not something that even Seth could handle. It was usually Alice's trump card but she had little choice but to start big or be put down immediately.
Alice strained to keep her eyes open as her Divine-Energy was consumed to maintain the enormous skull of Heavenly Flames.
Even Zeel gritted his teeth in pain every time Alice brushed over him with her gaze. The attack was indiscriminate but thankfully, Alice tried to avoid looking in his general direction.
*Step*
*Step*
There were two loud steps that shook the Earth and then the enormous hand of a Titan smacked Alice's skull of flames out of the air as easily as swatting a fly.
"Fuck!" Zeel cursed, seeing that Alice's body had made a crater in the ground a couple of miles away.
'I always have to do shit myself, huh?' Zeel lamented, gaining a jolt in his soul from Aurolana's complaint that she was also fighting.
The enormous Titan of three hundred meters, two times the size of an average skyscraper, took a massive leap and landed directly behind Seth, towering over him and Zeel.
"Do you like my Titan?" Seth asked braggingly, still not taking the battle to heart.
Alice's [Malevolent Gaze] was unexpected but it was far from life-threatening, only managing to weaken Seth by about one percent.
"Where did you get it?" Zeel asked, making conversation as he dusted himself off and rubbed the bruises that now made up his facial features.
"I took it from the Olympians when the Egyptians destroyed their Pantheon," Seth replied smilingly.
"I have some of my own as well," Zeel said, gesturing to the side as a massive fist impacted the face of the Titan.
