《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 300 - Zeela's Story Part II

"Eventually, I learned to convince myself that it was voluntary with the right people and involuntary with their enemies.
Wars started over my beauty and they started killing each other for me, and I was happy. All the bastards who done me wrong were now killing themselves for my benefit.
The world was in the palm of my hands, and I no longer bowed for men, they bowed for me… to please me, to praise me, and they would do anything, and I mean anything.
It was the best time in my life, I was finally the one doing the hurting instead of being hurt. But I still wanted more, I craved more and more… I was insatiable when it came to power.
Yet, at some point or another, everyone became tired. I was ready to retire by the time I was 25… I had been around since I was 6 years old and that was all the life I knew.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, I met a man that was as beautiful and as gentlemanly as they came. Perfect in every way, shape, or form.
If I had to pick one flaw about him… it would be the fact that he aged like a human even though he should have been a God amongst men.
Still, I fell in love for but a moment, and I clung to that emotion as if my life depended on it. But that love was only for a second, but it was as strong as I ever felt about anything.
I had a new goal in life, a new challenge.
I knew I would spend my life chasing that emotion no matter how little and vague it felt. It was better to feel that spec of shitty love than to never have felt anything at all…
I had grown numb to all else, and for an instant, all I wanted was to love and be loved.
Of course, he courted me and I rejected him all the time. He would run around like a little puppy, but little did he know he was already mine.
I killed all his ex-lovers… cancer, mugging, it didn't matter since he never suspected me even once.
Hell… I even killed his matter because she kissed him on the cheek without my permission. I think he got suspicious about that but never said anything due to the craziness.
Before I knew it, we had two daughters, more beautiful than me and my husband loved them just as much as he loved me.
Of course, that was WRONG!
Suddenly, he was no longer praising the Earth upon which I walked, he was praising and thanking God for allowing him such a wonderful family.
'How could he praise God when I was the one that gave him the family?' I thought 'I am his God!'
Shouldn't he have been praising me? I despised my daughters, even more, when I saw that they could love their father back when I never could.

I hated them, even more, when I saw that they loved me genuinely as well. It disgusted me how much their eyes adored me.
These emotions were always buried deeply, and even if I hated them, they were still my children and husband.
However, one day I found my world twisted and lame as my emotions raged and broke to the surface. I started getting images of myself, or a male version of myself that had everything I wanted.
He had money, love, happiness, and most of all POWER!
I suddenly had all this new knowledge in my head and I knew the best way to use it! And I vowed to never use it, but power was a hard temptation to shake.
So I decided…
That day I had finally decided to kill my family. We were going to drive off a bridge together, we would die as a family, the same way we lived and maybe they would forgive me for never loving them.
It seemed a fitting end as any in this chaotic world.
I was not a coward, I was prepared to die with my family without hesitation, but when we got into the car and drove off, things started changing.
Lightning flickered around my body, the same lightning in my dreams at night. Before I knew it, the world around the car slowed, but the car was moving faster and faster.
Beyond what a human body could handle, I watched as my husband and daughters were reduced to bloody mushes the faster the car went, but nothing happened to me," Zeela finished, her tears no longer falling but lingering at the corner of her eyes.
Zeel could tell she felt pain for the loss but not nearly enough to qualify as Human Grief.
Zeel laughed lightly as if finding a kindred spirit. Zeela was not as numb as he was to emotions, but she was desensitized in some ways.
"I see that my power is leaked to the version of myself when I enter a new Universe, interesting. We are a lot similar, you and I," Zeel admitted, feeling the pathetic Zeela was not so pathetic anymore.
"So what do you want?" Zeel asked smiling teasingly "Should I resurrect your family?"
Zeela smiled weakly and looked at Zeel as if he was an idiot. She knew exactly what she wanted, and Zeel also knew what she wanted, and they both knew the way to do it.
"You know I hate those fuck ups. What I want is to feel more of your power!" Zeela declared, stripping the blouse from her shoulders, demonstrating perky breasts more full and bare than any human Zeel had seen before.
How did Ameera explode? A mortal having sex with a God could only end one way, but what if you had sex with a version of yourself instead?
The very thought of it thrilled Zeel.
Using her regrown arm, Zeela slipped her hands between her legs, rubbing her moist cunt slowly, hoping that Zeel would take the invitation to enter her very soon.

She wanted him, craved him, and she could tell that he felt the same… after all, they were the same, though the experiences were largely different.
Zeel smiled wryly as his shirt sunk into his skin and his Draconic Eyes blazed with a deeper ruby-red tinge.
Zeel walked to Zeela, embraced her body, and began whispering in her ear as she got wetter and wetter.
Zeel could feel her soul quiver and reach out to his own soul, but he locked the connection in an instant.
"I love women like you the most, so broken but never vulnerable… I once had a woman like you, only I was where you are now, and she stood where I am now.
I tried hard to please her, I was a part of her harem and she kept me and the people I cared about alive as long as I 'entertained' her.
Her name was Seraphine… I promise there will always be a place for you in my heart," Zeel said, maneuvering his tongue in a strange manner.
Soon Zeel found what he was looking for, the golden crystal bullet Jenny had fired was clenched between his lips.
The world slowed as Zeel accessed his [Shallow Time-Zone]. With a small flick of the tongue, the bullet in Zeel's mouth penetrated through Zeela's ear and went straight into her brain, killing her in an instant.
"You see…Seraphine thought me how to choose the humans I associate with.
'A human is only measured by one unit… a unit as old as time itself. At the end of the day, a human is no better than the pain it has caused to the people it loves, and the acts that person would do to set it right…'
That is how I chose which humans are worthy to work for me – the kind of humans that would destroy planets to resurrect their family if I can fulfill their request," Zeel said and sighed.
'It's a shame that I had to kill her before fucking her,' He thought 'I am not a narcissist, but it would have been intriguing to have sex with a version of myself,'
Normal-Time resumed and Zeela's body slumped slightly within Zeel's arms.
Zeel swiftly reached into Zeela's pocket and extracted the coin that had been her trump card – The Pentecostal Coin also known as the Devil's coin.
Of course, Zeel would never confront a potentially dangerous enemy without a way to escape, and Zeela was exactly the same, only more naïve and less educated.
Zeel laughed lightly and said to no one in particular.
"You should be in the Astral Plane right now so I know you can hear me… Word of Advice, The Pentecostal Coin allows you to 'cheat' punishment in Hell, but not to get out of Hell.
That is just one of the myth humans came up with…,"
Zeel stared at the Pentecostal coin for a moment and came to a decision in the spur of the moment.
Zeel gripped the coin and stuffed it down Zeela's lifeless throat.
"The coin has to be inside your body for it to work," Zeel said and then turned to a location where a ghostly figure appeared surrounded by dark shadows.
Of course, this was Zeela surrounded by only what Zeel could consider this Universe's Grimm Reapers.
Unlike the pleading face of before, Zeela's face only held a small smile as if she had won a victory, and in some ways, she had indeed won.
Everything so far had been a part of Zeela's plan. She knew that even if she didn't come to Zeel, he would have found her later and killed her without asking any questions.
This way they got to talk while he was still being generous. Zeela even wore a perfume that specifically appealed to Draconic Beings hence Zeel's outburst earlier.
Zeel was a careful God, so how could he not notice his Divine-Energy leaking into his counterpart in this Universe?
What caught him by surprise was the fact that Zeela would come to him, instead of him to her.
All along, Zeela's grand plan was only to get Zeel to give her a chance to prove her usefulness to him.
As paranoid as Zeel was, she knew the only person he'd ever truly trust was his soulmate and himself, and Zeela knew that she could be considered, to a small degree, a part of Zeel's self.
"The Pentecostal Coin will get you out of Punishment in Hell, but you can't escape Hell and make it back into the world of the living.
But… if you succeed. I don't care how you do it, but if you manage to do it, you can come to find me and work for me," Zeel said, materializing a Gravitational-Ball that entered Zeela's throat alongside the Pentecostal Coin.
Zeela smirked "I hope you don't back out of our deal!"
Zeel shrugged and laughed "There are no guarantees with dead people,"
Zeela smiled since she was also aware that dead people can't make deals, they can only agree to deals.
In the end, Zeel won their little game because even if she made it back to the world of the living, she would have to agree to any and all of Zeel's conditions to remain in the world of the living.
Zeela laughed happily and disappeared entirely, her journey into the Gates Of Hell had already begun.
For the first time in her life, Zeela felt like she wasn't dead inside like she had something to look forward to.
And that was a twisted thought knowing that her life would begin only now that she had died and gone to Hell.
'Life is funny that way,' Zeela thought.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
