《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 227 - Instinct To Kill

Not long after Zeel left, police arrived at the location only finding the dead bodies of two unidentified males.
There was a passer at the time of the incident and they saw Zeel fight off the two men to protect the woman.
Of course, they only saw the two men charge at Zeel, and then quickly ran to report the matter to the proper authorities.
Zeel lost his mood and decided to head back to his favorite bench in the park. Maybe, it was also time to relocate.
People had begun to notice that his clothing remained clean even without bathing for days.
The Following Day At a Gym
"I am telling you mate, that guy killed two people with his bare hands,"
"Stop exaggerating. Police said they killed each other in a crazy fit,"
"I saw that guy wandering around the park. I heard he lived there,"
"Lies! I definitely saw him sleeping under a bridge last night,"
"What are you guys talking about?" Terry asked.
Terry was the owner of the mixed martial arts club. Hearing about someone fighting off two guys, Terry was genuinely interested since he was in the market for a trainer.
"Yeah, they say he beat up like fifty guys with a single hand,"
"Bullocks. He helped a lady out and crippled two troublesome drug dealers,"
"Where can I find him? Sounds like he'll make a good trainer," Terry asked.
"He passes by here the exact time every day. Always looking for jobs and never talking to anyone,"
Terry sat back in his seat and patiently waited to see the mystery man that would pass within the next hour.
Terry did not have to wait long since Zeel had genuinely given up on finding a job. Sean had kicked him out after a week because Samantha came to live with him.
Zeel was going to the woman's house he saved last night.
It was a bit embarrassing to leave the woman with a cool last quote but show up at her house begging for money the next day.
Zeel convinced himself that it was not embarrassing because he was a Homo-Superior.
That was Zeel's justification for everything he had experienced so far.

Don't have a bed to sleep on? Homo-Superiors don't need those. Can't eat and sleep? Homo-Superiors can function without them.
Passing by the gym on his way to re-fill his card with two dollars, Zeel stopped as a Scottish man jumped into his path.
Zeel patiently walked around the fat man.
"Hey, do you want a job kid?" Terry asked seeing that Zeel really had the proportions of a professional fighter.
"Sorry, I don't do prostitution of any kind," Zeel replied instantly since this was not the first time that random people ran up to him to offer 'modeling jobs', 'special services', and 'Oral enjoyments'.
"What the heck? No, I mean I will give you a job if you can beat one of my best guys at mixed martial arts. I need people skilled in fighting and you fit the bill," Terry said.
"How much payment?"
"One hundred quid a week," Terry replied instantly.
"One hundred and fifty Quid a week," Zeel replied effortlessly
"One hundred and twenty-five,"
"One hundred and twenty-five and I get to live here until I can stand on my own two feet," Zeel said reluctantly.
"Deal, but you need to win first," Terry said laughing it off.
Maybe when Zeel was beaten a little, he could renegotiate the price.
Zeel walked into the gym ahead of Terry looking cool and confident but his mind was in sparks at the moment.
'Yeah, I am a survivor. Nobody can keep me down. The first step to making it big,' Zeel thought internally as he felt gratified at finally getting a job.
The moment Zeel entered the gym, everyone else went silent looking at him curiously.
It was not every day you got to see a homeless person with perfectly white hair that remained clean at all times.
"James, get your ass in the ring. If you whoop this guy's ass, I will give you a bonus," Terry yelled from behind Zeel.
Zeel and James wasted no time and hopped into the ring.
Zeel only removed his hoody and put on the protective gear for show.
"Ready fighters?" Terry asked.
"Wait!" Zeel yelled hopping out of the ring and heading to a nearby sandbag.

Zeel began tapping the bag constantly until the punches were much faster and harder. Then he nodded at the strength scale he adopted and hopped back into the ring.
"What was that for?" Terry asked.
"Calibrating my strength. I don't want to use all my strength,"
"You should come at me with all you got," James said.
Zeel laughed "Trust me, you don't want that,"
Terry blew the whistle as the match started, both men circling each other like a cheetah waiting to pounce.
James was the first to start with a right hook that Zeel evaded, but something seemed to activate within Zeel the moment he was attacked.
James took a step back and then forward again with a right jab.
This time Zeel stepped forward, grabbed James by the shoulders, and spun him around.
By the time James realized, both of Zeel's arms were around his neck, ready to break it.
Zeel quickly took control of his instincts and released James.
Everyone in the gym cheered for the smart maneuver, but Terry could see that Zeel was prepared to kill James just now.
It was not uncommon for former soldiers to lose themselves in battle but it was also bad for business.
Still, the fight continued because Zeel showed some restraint.
Zeel threw a right jab that was blocked by James, but Zeel ducked to the ground and swept James's foot out from under him.
Then Zeel pinned him to the ground in a quick and easy fashion.
"Winner is..." Terry started but could not finish "Kid, what is your name again?"
Zeel felt slightly weird, he was very well over a hundred years at this point but he was being called a kid by someone half that age.
"Zeel Crawford,"
"Crawford? Nice, like America's Twin Angels – The Crawfords," Terry commented and yelled "Winner – Zeel Crawford,"
Zeel smiled wryly at hearing 'America's Twin Angels' since Terry was referring to Alice and Elizabeth.
They had opened orphanages across the Americas and gained the title as a result.
Still, Zeel felt a bit offended by the fact that both girls would use the Noble Crawford name to do something as childish as an orphanage.
Zeel had neglected to remember that he was just sleeping on a park bench earlier. Not sure who did the Crawford name more justice at this point.
Terry pulled Zeel over to the side "You got control of it?"
"Yeah, was just a bit startled from last night," Zeel replied knowing that his instinct to kill was strongly activated especially with the Draconic Energy in his body losing control more and more.
"Well, Welcome to the job," Terry said "The backroom has showers and you could stay under the stair in the basement, nobody goes down there. Tomorrow you begin training fighters,"
Zeel nodded and went directly to the basement, he could hear Terry in the back asking 'where are your things?' but Zeel just ignored him.
What was he supposed to say? In my storage Dimension?
Entering the basement, Zeel wasted no time as codes started flickering across his eyes. He was checking all the information The Red Queen had managed to collect thus far.
"This is over a hundred possible locations for entrance to a Prime Universe," Zeel muttered in frustration.
"Each location is credible, but I am working on cutting them down some more," The Red Queen replied.
"Yeah, looks like we are gonna be here a while. Prime Universes always have good stuff but they make the entrance hard to find. Move government resources on a large scale if you have to," Zeel ordered.
The Red Queen simply disappeared and hope she could find the Prime Universe's entrance as soon as possible.
Zeel would not hesitate to take extreme measures if the location was not found in time.
Zeel found a bed in the far corner of the basement and dusted it off carefully.
He had become used to doing things manually once in a while. Zeel had not gotten settled in yet when two balls of light appeared in the room.
They slowly turned brighter until two kids emerged from the light, one with pink hair and the other with sky-blue hair.
"Ella, Alle," Zeel whispered holding his arms out in resignation for what would come next.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

Choices of the Magicless Son
I had an ability that allowed me to watch everyone. I narrated everything I witnessed. To who? To whichever being that's listening to my thoughts right now. I have a gut feeling you're there. Erik Spearhand was born from one of the many concubines of the current human emperor. The boy was insignificant. He was the only one in the whole world who couldn't use magic. And yet, his choices impacted everyone. I had seen every sort. Powerful mages who could kill with a thought. Monster people who had their own history among human and beastman civilization. And even what I presume are time travelers. Those mess with my head. And still, the magicless son was the most formidable of them all. Of all of us.
