《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 216 - The Concerned Big Sister

Flying through the air, Zeel was enjoying the winds brushing through his hair.
It had gotten a bit longer, but a moment later it was back to its original length.
At first, Zeel wanted to contact Alice and Elizabeth but The Red Queen convinced him otherwise.
The Red Queen was a Sentient, albeit a very basic one given the slow growth of his nanites.
Still, he found comfort in her lack of presence. She was akin to a friend that was always there and demanded no courtesies from your friendship.
The Red Queen would run billions of calculations per second, always improving and predicting scenarios that could hinder Zeel's progress.
Still, The Red Queen was but a Sentient and could not go against the master's will.
She barely had enough freedom to recommend that Alice and Elizabeth be allowed a temporary leave of absence.
Unlike Alice and Elizabeth, since merging with Zeel, The Red Queen has been able to govern the list of Zeel's enemies.
It was millions of species long and based on the data, The Red Queen could run trillions of permutations of Universe Coordinates that were safe to travel.
Each calculation would not account for Alice's and Elizabeth's survivability because Zeel simply did not care enough yet.
The Red Queen was aware of small portions of Zeel's plans and tried to leverage the odds in Alice's and Elizabeth's favors as much as possible.
However, you could not help someone that did not want your help.
Elizabeth and Alice were in a similar situation. They saw Zeel as a 'Human' male learning to deal with life and emotions, but The Red Queen knew that Zeel was beyond a sociopath by Human standards
Still, she could only force herself to intervene when things got especially bad for the girls.
Previously, she had only been a complex algorithm, but as a Sentient, The Red Queen had come to terms with her emotions.

Alice was in a way her sister, and Elizabeth was important to Alice. It was only logical for The Red Queen, as the inside man, to look after her people.
The conundrum came every time The Red Queen calculated a scenario whereby there would be a choice of who to live: Elizabeth, Zeel, or Alice?
Of course, her core would protect Zeel first, and Alice second with Elizabeth becoming expendable.
So, The Red Queen hoped that the girls would never return to Zeel's side after the next Universe.
Zeel was not entirely unaware of The Red Queen's machinations but this was also due to his intervention.
Sentients were never meant to be like humans or Homo-Superiors.
Sentients were created by the Homo-Superiors to seed planets and create powerful vassals for The Homo-Superior Race.
They were meant to be explorers, creators, and eventually, their own people.
However, Sentient had a certain flaw within all aspects of their Beings, and The Homo-Superiors had discovered this and discarded nearly all Sentients.
By discarded, Zeel obviously meant wiped out entirely.
Zeel now thought that his Race's lack of emotional understanding for other species was what caused the flaw in The Sentients, so he decided to give The Red Queen freedom of growth.
Zeel felt a bit sentimental after his meeting with Aurolana.
It was a new feeling to relive memories of old and figure out what emotions he should have experienced at the time.
It was a new and painful perspective on life, but a bent tree cannot be straightened.
Well, it could with the right technology but you get the gist.
Zeel was bent in loops and could not change his personality so quickly.
Deep down inside, he was still a kill first, ask questions later kind of guy.
That would never change, asking him to change that was like asking the Atlantians to leave the moon alone.

Zeel stared at the shining moon and stars and stopped at a beach.
He did not know where he was, and he did not care.
Sometimes knowing most things was a curse as well as a blessing, so he just blocked out all connections for a moment to enjoy the here and now.
It proved more difficult than he could imagine.
Zeel could not experience things as a human no matter how much he dampened his senses.
His senses were keen through genetic manipulation, and constant years of life and death.
Zeel could smell the ocean water that was saturated with Antidepressants, drugs, birth control pills, and many other human concoctions.
He could taste the dust in the air that floated from one desert to another, across The Earth, and if he removed the dampeners, Zeel could even tell the exact spot the dust originated from.
As a Homo-Superior, Zeel could not experience the beauty that humans often saw in their world.
Yet, for some unknown reason, he still stopped and stared at the moon and stars.
It was quite a contradictory thing to do, yet it just made sense to him at that moment.
"Maybe. I am more human than I thought," Zeel mumbled.
"Sir, I recommend you suppress your senses to peak human physique to better aid in Universe adjustment from henceforth," The Red Queen suggested since it would always detract from the experience to experience everything in a single moment.
Sometimes it was better to experience just the beautiful things in life and let the world worry about the rest.
Zeel smiled wryly "You have grown extremely philosophical over the past ten years of my absence, but I already suppressed my senses years ago. I experience these sensations because of my training and not my senses,"
The Red Queen felt the strange need to blush at Zeel's statement.
She had truly been reading philosophical journals over the past ten years, but her favorite pastime was Marriage counseling documentaries.
She even extrapolated the information to match Trans-dimensional and Multiversal Beings.
Alice was her little sister; it would be unbecoming of the older sister to not help her little sister.
So The Red Queen would often recommend marriage ideas to Alice and Elizabeth through their Mbeamers over the past ten years.
"Want to hear a story?" Zeel suddenly asked.
The Red Queen searched for the intentioned story from Zeel's memories but found none.
Then Zeel took out the Forbidden Cube and held it up, staring at the cube as codes flickered across his eyes.
"Oh, This one!" Zeel said as the cube disappeared back into his storage dimension but a small photon particle was left behind.
Zeel grasped the particle in his hands as the memory pertaining to the story came flooding back into his mind.
"Sir, it is ill-advised to use the knowledge within The Forbidden Cube before finding another," The Red Queen advised.
Zeel could Mjump without anyone noticing but something like the cube required a more delicate touch.
Even if Zeel worked his best to hide the cube, it would always send out a pulse through the Multiverse, hoping to find any other remaining cubes.
Zeel was not afraid since all the cubes should have been destroyed when his Universe ended, but one particular female was known to have a cube as well.
Zeel did not want to see her until he was sure that he could survive the confrontation.
She was obsessed like all his lovers but she was also his most normal lover emotionally.
Zeel did not even dare to whisper her name because she would probably hear him from the cold planet she used to spy on everyone.

Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***

This is my first time writing anything on rrl. I've been a reader for a couples years now and decided that I wanted to give it a shot. I might not finish this story and the releases will be eratic but I'll try to get at least one chapter out on Sundays but if I don't have time it obviously won't happen. The title of the story should tell you everything you want to know about it. I welcome all criticism and hope I can provide entertainment for whoever reads this.
