《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 205 - Stay Away From Him

No sooner than Zeel came to that realization, the stadium suddenly warped and twisted.
Everyone found that they could do nothing as the situation changed time and time again.
Soon everyone was transported to a field on the planet.
The field spanned tens of kilometers and there was nothing on the entire field. The land was flat to perfection; you could see from one flat end to the next flat end.
A barrier surrounded the field, keeping everyone inside.
Everyone looked around tense.
"Out of the frying pan and into the fire," Zeel chuckled and told Kal. Kal looked at Zeel briefly and muttered a phrase in Felian Language.
Zeel's hands were soon back to their original shape.
"Thanks," Zeel said.
"Get me out of here alive first," Kal replied dismissively.
*Plop*
One person next to Zeel dropped, and then two and three.
The next moment Zeel jumped and grabbed Kal, rolling the both of them for a couple of minutes.
They were both dizzy but recovered fast to see thin, transparent spears jutting out of the ground.
Zeel tilted his head to the side, a spear swished by his left cheek.
Zeel grabbed Kal and jumped a couple of feet backward, then he spun Kal at the same spot. While Kal was spinning Zeel did a couple of backflips near his location.
Seeing that all spears in the area were used up, Zeel pulled Kal back immediately as a spike launched itself between Kal's legs.
It penetrated his nanites-pants, centimeters away from his manhood.
Kal was frightened when he felt something sharp centimeters from his most treasured jewel.
"I think it punctured a ball," Zeel said seriously.
Kal almost fainted on the spot, but the next moment Zeel got extremely serious.
Gas-like substances began leaking from the spears embedded in the ground.
Zeel reached his hand out and touched the gas.
*Sizzle*
"Ow, Fuck!" Zeel squealed checking his finger "These are Mutated Dimensional Spores,"
"These should be impossible to bring into our Universe. It consumes anything and everything. I think they are trying to kill us all. This is not something I can deal with," Zeel spoke aloud.
Still, not one to give up, Zeel slit his left wrist as a strange silver material began to leak from his wrist.
It was Computronium he had asked Ciara to make the night before.
Zeel immediately put the Computronium into the Mutated Spores, collecting samples that could be the difference between life and death.

Everything had a frequency and if it did, it could also be destroyed or at the very least held at bay. Zeel and Kal ran in the direction of Ciara.
Zeel knew where she was at all times, and also knew that none of them could survive this without each other.
Other Side of The Field Aurolana looked around carefully, she needed to find the others.
Several severe burns were visible on her arms and legs; her wings were tucked away since they were also burnt.
Aurolana felt lonely and extremely furious at the same time. She had teleported without bringing Zeel along, and if Zeel were to die, she would also end up suffering.
At the time, she still thought about killing Zeel and severing the connection before it grew stronger, but not even the most heinous criminals would break that particular law.
Aurolana wandered for a couple of minutes until she saw Ciara sitting on the ground nearby.
Aurolana cautiously approached her and Ciara stood up to greet Aurolana as well.
Ciara also looked burnt beyond belief, and she was slightly limping. Aurolana knew that she would be confronting the real Ciara and not her usual playful self.
"I cannot survive this without all my power. I need the team," Ciara said and then paused "Stay away from Zeel. If I see you around him anymore, I will kill you,"
Aurolana wanted to smirk at Ciara's naivety.
Aurolana hated Zeel on principle alone, and Ciara was in no state to be threatening her. Here everyone's power was suppressed.
Aurolana was about to put the Wan-To in her place, but suddenly she felt an overwhelming sense of dread.
The air trembled and the ground quaked for an instant.
"Stay away from him," Ciara said and walked away.
Aurolana followed behind Ciara calmly.
Aurolana could not explain exactly what happened earlier, but she was certain that the girl in front of her was definitely not a Wan-To, at least not fully.
Soon Ciara and Aurolana began to break into a run, their skins were being burned by the mutated spores in the air.
They could not escape the field, and they had seen that barrier did not work for spores.
A lot of the dead bodies on the floor simply dissolved in the blink of an eye.
The number of spores was becoming more and more saturated in the air.
Aurolana and Ciara met up with Tak, Dena, Ruri, and Xak, they ran under the guidance of Ciara.

Nobody had enough energy remaining to teleport so they had to dodge the spears as they ran, constantly being burned by spores.
Ruri was missing some skin, Dena and Tak's skins were red.
Xak and Aurolana were burned by the Mutated Spores.
Ciara was not better than anyone, and the mutated spores targeted her the most for some odd reason.
"Where is Gabriella?" Aurolana asked while running.
"I don't know but she can warp so she should be fine," Ruri answered in a hurry.
The spores were becoming more aggressive.
Ruri was an Akasha and therefore did not need to ingest blood to survive.
The only blood Akasha ingested in their lifetime was that of their spouse as a form of submission.
Usually, it was the female dominating over the male.
Still, due to this lack of blood consumption, every drop of blood was important to Ruri.
Losing her blood was akin to losing her strength.
Looking back, the group could literally see skins being stripped from the bones of the other Races.
It made Ruri want to puke but now was not the time to lose focus.
Ruri quickly magnified the amount of blood in the air to ease the spores attacking the group. The group soon saw Zeel and Kal running in their direction.
Both guys were in much worse states than they currently were. Zeel wasted no time, he grabbed Xak and placed a bar of silver metal in his hand.
"Follow me!" Zeel said as codes began to flicker across his pupil.
The group was being consumed by the mutated spores. Everyone felt unbelievable pain.
"Zeel hurry up!" Aurolana yelled trying to use her wings to cover everyone; however, her wings were also being consumed at a rapid pace until it was soon gone.
Luckily, it would regenerate immediately after this exercise was done.
Apollonian wings were a versatile weapon when trained, but Aurolana was still a child and had neglected to train her wings thus far.
Just as they were about to be drowned out by the mutated spores, Zeel and Xak's hands lit up and a barrier slowly formed in a five-foot area.
Zeel and Xak looked as if they hadn't eaten for months. He had to analyze the constantly changing spores and create an antibody for each millisecond of change.
It was taxing, and Xak was not helping that much.
Xak could copy abilities and knowledge but not a Homo-Superior's brain or Dimensional thinking.
They had to push their bodies beyond to create the barrier, and they were barely keeping it up.
Everyone heaved a sigh in relief until they saw Zeel's state.
Xak looked malnourished but you could see Zeel's bones becoming more apparent by the second.
"Zeel stop, you will die," Ciara pleaded as she pushed herself to make more Computronium.
More Computronium helped Zeel and Xak a fair bit.
The meat slightly returned to their bodies, but another problem emerged at that time.
*Warp*
Gabriella appeared just outside the barrier a couple of feet away.
The concentration of mutated spores in the area immediately began to eat her, within seconds her left hand was gone.
Still, she crawled towards their location.
Zeel saw her and slowly stood up, but Aurolana held him down.
"She is already dead, Zeel. Just look at her, it is only her will keeping her alive," Aurolana said but Zeel did not answer her.
Zeel walked slowly towards Gabriella.
At this point, half her head had been consumed by the spores but she still crawled towards Zeel desperately.
Xak had a hard time keeping up the barrier when Zeel was no longer conducting the calculations.
Zeel's cyber-lines stretched out from his fingers and wrapped around the badly injured Gabriella.
Half her head was gone, her legs were missing, and one arm was broken, still, she crawled.
Zeel used the cyber-lines to pull the near-death girl into his arms and whispered "It's okay, you are fine. There is nothing wrong with self-preservation. Never feel bad for thinking of yourself first,"
With that, Zeel hugged the dying Gabriella as golden particles surrounded them both.
At the next moment, they were in Aurolana's room.
Zeel quickly tossed the dying Gabriella into a stasis pod that slowly healed her body.
At least for now she would not die.
Xak, Tak, Aurolana, and everyone else appeared soon after.
"The trial is finished?" Zeel questioned while sitting down.
His body reverted to his five-year-old appearance.
However, this time he was skinny beyond belief. Ruri grabbed Zeel and also tossed him into a stasis pod, before heading to one herself.
Everyone else also entered a stasis pod to recover. Today finally dawned on them.
They thought that as superior races, everyone else would be eliminated before themselves.
However, it seemed that the people who did this training camp did not care about anything.
They would kill anyone, anywhere, at any time. Everyone was the same at death's door.

It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
