《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 199 - Introductions

There was absolute silence in the Area for the next couple of minutes. Zeel said nothing, considering his situation again and again in his head. However, without the nanites active, he was limited in computational abilities.
"Take a look around you, these guys, girls, or unidentifiable will be your teammates for the next couple years of this Training Camp," Sentient said, this time appearing in a humanoid form instead of only projecting its voice "Get acquainted with each other. You will be covering each other's back for the next couple of years. Note all your abilities are suppressed and some locked away entirely for your own convenience. Tomorrow you will meet your teachers, take tonight to prepare for the tests of tomorrow,"
Aurolana, sitting on the throne-like chair, saw it within her responsibilities to organize the team and expose risk elements for immediate termination. The moment she thought about killing someone, Aurolana's gaze immediately drifted to Zeel who gave her a knowing smile.
Aurolana considered, staring at Zeel for a moment, but shook her head in admonishment at the crazy idea.
'Killing a Homo-Superior? That would be a stupid move. God knows what that mad-head has tucked away to ensure his survival. Their kind would kill everyone and go it alone if need be,' Aurolana thought, weighing the merits and detriments to killing Zeel.
She was confident she could do it since Zeel had no tech available to him at the moment.
There was a joke that would always remain true 'Take all Tech on a Homo-Superior and tell them to go left and they will not know their left from their right,'.
Aurolana then glanced at a haggard Gabriella but found her more useful than anyone else. Humans were known to be extremely versatile given the proper skillset, so it would be a waste to kill her future General.
Aurolana then said "Everyone introduce yourselves: race, abilities, and first name. Do not introduce your status since it could complicate things,"

Zeel rolled his eyes at Aurolana's instructions, everyone knew everyone in this Universe. Just your name and race alone would reveal your status immediately, but Zeel still liked the rule.
"Gabriella, Human. I have a peak-human physique, I am good with blasters, photon sabers, and my body produces potent amounts of Warp Stone, so I can perform small teleports for limited amounts of time each day, or a couple of big jumps and finished," Gabriella introduced exhaustedly.
Everyone at the table was surprised, Warp Stones were unique to MACOSO647-SO galaxy. This Galaxy was amongst the most beautiful and close-knit galaxy in the entire Universe. No powerhouse would willingly offend those in that Galaxy, but everyone knew better than to ask why.
"Tak. Telkien Race. Well, as everyone knows Telkiens are the personification of power. We are physically the strongest beings in the Universe. I have a unique ability that makes my mind become too simple to manipulate. Telkiens are known for our strength but we are weak to mind attacks, but I am not," Tak said braggingly. He truly was a simple guy, who had enough awareness to not be dense.
"Dena. Telkien Race. Telkien are physically strong based on the severity of the situation. The more intense the fight, the more powerful we become. I have the unique ability to alteration. I can shift the strength and density of any part of my body," Dena introduced and listed her unique ability.
"Ruri. Akasha Race. Akasha are the nobility amongst the Vampires. I am a direct descendant of the first Vampire. I can manipulate blood, and I do not require blood to ease my hunger. I can do anything, anyone else can do," Ruri said, but everyone still stared at her intently when she finished.
Reluctantly, Ruri added "I can somewhat manipulate shadows, but my bloodline ability is mainly to multiply blood. I can create a pool of blood from a single drop,"

Everyone nodded and shifted their heads elsewhere. It was disrespectful to not list your special abilities when they needed to trust each other with their lives. Everyone would keep a secret or two hidden, but that was unavoidable.
"Kal. I am a Felian. Unlike you guys, I did not know I was royalty until I figured they would not bring me to this place otherwise. I always had the unique ability to see images from Felian memories that are not my own. They come in times of necessity. Basically, you can say my ability is inheritance. Felians vary in appearance, but we have powerful voices and can forge weapons with unique characteristics," Kal said rubbing his blue eyebrows in frustration.
"Tria. I am an Atlantian. I can manipulate water like any other Atlantians but on a larger scale. My unique ability is Oceanic Abyss. If I drag anyone below water far enough that they cannot see the light, then I can trap them in shadows of oceans forever," Tria explained causing everyone to flinch.
"Xak. I am a Transcendent. My Race has the innate ability to copy the ability of anyone who challenges us. We Transcend your level of using the ability, but it can only be one ability at the moment the fight starts. My unique bloodline ability allows me to not only copy the ability of anyone who challenges me but also master the ability right away. That means your techniques, and knowledge as well," Xak mentioned smiling at Aurolana faintly.
"Ciara. I am of the Wan-To people," Ciara did not get to finish her statement as Zeel and Aurolana flashed to her sides. They did not forget the rules so they did not attack immediately but simply wanted the pre-emptive strike should the need arise.
Everyone also entered a tense mood, this was their first time seeing Wan-To take a physical appearance. Wan-To people were extremely dangerous because they often existed as just consciousnesses and with no physical appearance.
Wan-To were almost Gods amongst Gods, and that is saying something considering this was Universe 0. Aurolana and Zeel together would probably still die to a Wan-To person when things get bad.
Wan-To were not innately bad beings, rather they were innocent and extremely playful. However, with a consciousness that could cover entire solar systems, the Wan-To spent their immortal lives playing with the planets in a solar system.
They were the most innocent murderers in any Universe. Yes, Wan-To were Multiversal beings and their power grew with time. They could literally crash one planet into the other with just a thought, the entire Universe was their playground.
"Wan-To people do not have Physical Bodies, that's why they inhabit stars and planets," Zeel mentioned suspiciously eyeing Ciara.
Ciara looked at Zeel and then blushed, the next moment she had passed through Zeel's body and stood behind him on the table. With a drop of Zeel's blood on her finger, Ciara swallowed the blood and soon her transparent body became that of a Homo-Superior.
"Please take care of me in the future," Ciara said avoiding eye contact with a confused Zeel. It was a shameless move on her part, but Ciara also wanted to find a good thigh to hug. Mostly, she wanted a good husband to link to her Physical Body.
Aurolana sat on the ground in confusion "What's so good about you to get a Wan-To princess to submit to you? Fuck, I wouldn't mind marrying her if you don't want her,"
Unlike Zeel, Aurolana knew about the customs of the Wan-To people, but Zeel was not one to believe anything at face value.

Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
