《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 173 - The Experiment of Gods

"Granpa!" Sean yelled dashing towards the suspicious old man, only to be caught and held back at the last minute by Hank.
Zeel was confused at his behavior, perhaps being involved with only Alice and Elizabeth for so long did not allow him time to analyze the behavior of regular humans.
'Sean likes running into the arms of strange old men in jungles,' Zeel thought as he made a note of Sean's sexual inclinations.
Alice and Elizabeth both began giggling all of a sudden which caused everyone in the group to look at them suspiciously.
They quickly gathered themselves once more, choosing to ignore Zeel's thought processes and focus on the situation at hand.
Alice made the silver-ball scan the old man a couple of times, confirming the blood connection between himself and Sean. She then nodded signaling Hank that he was indeed whom Sean said he was.
"Ha, my grandson I knew you would come," said Alexander, Sean's grandfather.
"Yeah, it was hard decoding the message but here we are. This is my stepdad," Sean said as he introduced Hank and then everyone else; though when he got to Alice, Zeel and Elizabeth he hesitated a bit before calling them gods respectfully.
"Gods? Not the craziest thing I have ever seen but close," Alexander said jokingly, which made Zeel want to shift through his memories for a moment before being held back by Elizabeth since it would pain him to invade one's privacy with the restrictions in place – or as Elizabeth called it 'Law of the World' aka 'The Commandments of the Gods'.
After everyone was introduced, Alexander said "Well, come on! It can get pretty dangerous around here so let's head back to my place. It's really a luxury,"
Heading back toward his supposedly luxury encampment; Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth were having a conversation of their own in the back.
"We always read the memories of unknown variables," Zeel said complaining that Alice held him back earlier, for all they knew the old man could be a demon in disguise.
Elizabeth nodded and agreed "Yes 'Unknown'. But that old man is not an unknown, we saw his profile while searching up about the kid Sean, right?"
Elizabeth knew that Alice had probably stopped them from doing something completely necessary.
Zeel reluctantly nodded while Alice added "There are no enhancements of any kind to his body in anyway…. he is of no threat to us,"
Zeel nodded as the three began messing around with a game they had always played over the years to relieve boredom – Benefits of Humanity's Fall.

This was a game that Zeel and Alice often played during the apocalypse, and Elizabeth later joined the competition.
At this point, Alice and Zeel were at Benefits of Humanity's Fall Number 3,659.
Finally, the group arrived at a huge tree house a couple of miles away from where they were previously.
Alexander started to introduce the place with great zeal, bragging about his achievements since he crashed his ship on the shores of the island.
Zeel noticed a small discrepancy in his story but said nothing as even if Alexander was a serial killer, it had nothing to do with him. That and Alice would have already punished him if he was evil in any way.
Just like that, everyone found a space in the treehouse to sleep the night, with Kailani drifting ever closer to where Zeel and the girls were sleeping.
Zeel and the girls ended the night with another song stolen from some other universe in the multiverse – good thing Multiversal Copy Rights were not a thing yet.
Singing helped Zeel focus sometimes after he closed his eyes - half in slumber, and a half in the calculation for his multiverse coordination formula. At every opportunity, Zeel would try to fine-tune his Multiverse Coordination Algorithm.
Trying to find areas that are restricted to him – meaning sometimes he could accidentally stumble into a dead world where even the craziest of gods do not wish to set foot on.
Zeel had been tweaking the formula to try and further filter out negative results, forbidden zones, and abyssal locations.
There are infinite Universes in the Multiverse and a multitude of threats that could end his life without even lifting a finger.
Forbidden Zones are areas that are forbidden due to some curse or otherwise malevolent force.
The real scary ones were abyssal locations, the memories of Lorien did not make it clear but abyssal locations were faults within certain sections of the Multiverse.
It had existed since the birth of the original Universe, and anything that fell within would never return – gods, demons, transcendents, and anything otherwise.
"Good night girls," Zeel said as Alice and Elizabeth replied with grunts before everyone dozed off.
Zeel and Alice would always only be half-asleep in any given circumstance.
Finding the ground, a bit lacking for his sleep, Zeel then waved his hands as the three of them started floating in the air where they usually slept free from the constraints of gravity.
They would have done this much earlier if it had not been for Elizabeth's complaints of wanting the 'full jungle experience'.

The next morning, everyone was greeted with a delicious smelling concoction made by Alexander himself.
Elizabeth noticed a couple of eyes floating in the dish but decided not to tell anyone since it fell under her definition of 'Full jungle experience'.
"This is made from giant beehives, roots of spice trees, the cleanest water on earth, and miniature deer meat," Alexander bragged giving Hank the stink eyes as if Hank could not cook for himself.
Zeel attempted to read Alexander's thoughts with his nanites brainwave altering capabilities and was disturbed with what he heard.
The old man was thinking at the current moment 'Yeah, I made the best dish in the world for my grandson you hunk of handsome, muscles, and fine excuse of a man'.
Zeel vowed to never touch upon the internal thought of the crazy old man ever again. Obviously, Alexander had rather peculiar fetishes, for all he knew it might have run in the family.
Alice and Elizabeth, who were eating, suddenly began to cough and choke. Zeel's thoughts were always entertaining to them.
After a hearty meal, Alexander insisted on taking the entire group to witness the wonders that The Mysterious Island was famous for in some author's books throughout the years.
Kailani who had been talking to Alice suddenly faced Zeel and asked a question "Do gods also grant wishes?"
Zeel shrugged "Depends on what you want for yourself. Most do it for selfish reasons, and in return get ironic wishes. I once saw a guy wish he was the king of 'The World' and in return, he became the owner of a nearby theatre called 'The World' which soon closed down due to money laundering and he got sent to jail for it,"
Kailani swallowed her spit much to the amusement of Elizabeth and Alice but still answered "My father can't afford college but I don't want to be trapped in small Palau all my life. I know that this is a selfish wish but I hope that you can help with that, not in your capacity as a god but maybe as a once-famous singer,"
Zeel shook his head and replied "That's not how it works when asking for something from a god. But I admire your wish, so I'll give you an opportunity,"
Zeel waved his hands as Alice materialized a silver-ball from her storage dimension and transformed it from solid-state to liquid metallic state almost immediately.
Alice explained where Zeel left off "We're gonna embed this metallic substance into the bones on your wrist, don't worry it won't hurt. Since we can't transfer money to you from this island, we'll have $300,000 American dollars on the chip to be embedded.
Using that money, you could go to any ATM scanner or electronic device in the world and redeem however much you require from the $300,000. Now here is the thing, the less you spend from the money the greater the blessing you'll receive upon completion of your doctorate degree.
So the objective is to spend as little as possible while also reaching your doctorate degree. Upon completion, call for me, Zeel, and Elizabeth, if we are still alive we'll come and see how much money you saved so we can give you an appropriate reward,"
Zeel nodded at Alice's explanation with Elizabeth shaking her head in the background "Yeah, well said. Any questions?"
"No! Thank you very much. I'll make sure I give my all to the completion of college," Kailani said as she watched the metallic liquid sink into her wrist without any discomfort, she then ran to talk with her father in an excited manner.
Truth be told, she was extremely reluctant to ask them for help since she also had her pride and preferred to climb from the ground up with her own hands. But it was not every day you meet gods.
"Had she asked Hank or Sean to support her, the issue would have been solved immediately, but she asked us – we who are no different from humans emotionally but with a title of god," Elizabeth said with confusion written all over her face "The fickleness of humans never fail to surprise me, one title is all it takes to lower their pride,"
Alice and Zeel listened in silence as their nose began to bleed a little with golden-reddish blood which Elizabeth, using water manipulation, wiped away in the blink of an eye "So what part of what you told her was a lie?"
"Everything basically," Alice answered with a strange blue glow in her eyes.
The experiment needed a willing subject and Kailani just happened to ask for a favor when they had needed someone to test their limits.
