Weird sounds were heard as Alice, Hank, Zeel, Elizabeth, Kailani, Hank, Sean, and Gabato were ejected from the swirling currents of the ocean.
Not waiting for the group to touch water, Elizabeth changed her silver-lightning into electrokinetic surfing and propelled them all to the nearby island in style – surfing on silver-lightning like A God of Thunder.
Hank, Gabato, Kailani, and Sean passed out immediately, it was their first time shifting between dimensions.
Even if they were currently in a weak failing sub-dimension, it is still a dimensional shift nonetheless.
Their bodies' vibrational frequencies would still need time to adapt.
"So apart from your half-baked divine bodies, can you guys help me at all during this trip?" Elizabeth asked slightly panting, it was becoming harder and harder to control her abilities the closer they got to this island.
It was like the elements were under the command of someone else.
For a moment, Elizabeth even had to manipulate the elements while using her novis ability to ignore the laws of physics temporarily.
This was a blow to her pride since she was currently practicing only to use her elemental abilities – specifically her lightning and ice elements.
"We have our divine bodies, and divine optimism," Alice replied with a rare joke, happy that Elizabeth was once again feeling useful to their group.
Though she had not mentioned it, Elizabeth was often under the most pressure in their relationship as she was not as talented as Alice, or as morally ambiguous as Zeel.
She always felt like less of a woman in front of Zeel since Alice was a lot to live up to.
If she was honest with herself, Elizabeth was always a bit happy when Alice and Zeel fought but always helped them through it because despite her mild possessiveness.
She loved Alice and Zeel equally.
Hence why she was always on top alert in relationship issues. Though they didn't show it, it was painfully obvious that Alice and Zeel had grown apart since she attacked him in the Jumper universe.
It wasn't too obvious but if one looked close enough you would always see Zeel taking measured steps, and he would flinch minutely anytime Alice touched him in the bedroom.
Zeel had also been spending more time having sex with her instead of Alice, one had to know you often make most love to the girl you love the most.
Elizabeth knew that Zeel liked Alice significantly more than herself, so the only reason he would make love mostly to her is a deflection of sorts.
This was a part of the reason she got mad when she saw him getting intimate with Kailani earlier.

Elizabeth felt it was disrespectful to the woman who had been with him since the beginning – Alice.
Unlike Alice, Elizabeth did not care for Zeel's love as much as his respect.
She had basically sold herself to Zeel, but she would be damned if she allowed him to have other women without showing the minimum respect of asking her for permission.
Alice would not mind since everyone had sin staining their souls, Alice would likely kill the other competition, but Elizabeth would not have any competition in the first place.
"Divine Optimism, Very funny!" Elizabeth said mockingly as she waved her hand and a fire started near the passed out humans.
Alice and Zeel may have forgotten some basic survival skills since becoming gods, but Elizabeth, even with her Lorien biology, could still feel the blistering cold.
A couple of hours later, everyone had woken up, with Gabato mourning his precious helicopter and Kailani comforting him.
She seemed to be mourning internally, Alice and Zeel could feel her broken heart alongside her ever-growing desperation. It was, after all, her and Gabato's livelihood that got destroyed by the storms.
Night came quicker than expected, Sean wanted to explore the island since he had found a passage from the beach but was stopped by Hank who suggested they stay the night on the beach.
Everyone was gathered around a campfire as Elizabeth was manipulating it to shift colors from white, to blue, to green, to pink, and everything else in between.
It was the exact same thing she did on stage at their last concert.
Alice had already hacked satellites across the globe and erased all information about the dancers on the stage. They were now invisible and would be well-paid for the next twenty years.
Elizabeth's flames that mimicked a Cosmic Wormhole coloring, mutated their genome sequence.
Alice was not sure in what way, but Zeel had told her it was nothing to be concerned about. There were similar to those on Skull Island in Kong's Universe – slightly more powerful than normal humans.
Hank and the others were impressed by the dancing flames that constantly shifted shape. They finally realized that the trio were definitely more than normal humans.
Even Alice was a bit surprised Elizabeth had come this far, recently Elizabeth has been going as far as to manipulate light by using transparent ice.
Zeel noted that she liked experimenting with colors, almost like an innate obsession with light – more specifically the visible spectrum aka the rainbow.
"So are you guys really Gods," Hank finally asked the question that had been on everyone's mind.

Zeel and Alice paused a bit, raised their hands in the air, and waved it around a couple of times.
This was to feel if there was any resistance. Some Dimensional rules were confusing, like in the Herme's Dimension.
"Yeah!" Alice answered after determining there were no restrictions on talking about Metaphysical things.
"Gods singing to make a living is kind of silly, don't you think?" Sean said which earned him a nudge from Kailani to be quiet in fear of offending literal gods.
Contrary to his expectations, however, Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth simply laughed since his statement was actually factual.
"Almost as silly as mortals coming to the abandoned home of a deceased god filled with dangers meant to kill both gods and humans. To top it all off, it's the home of the god who hates humanity probably the most?" Zeel asked ironically.
"What do you mean?" asked Kailani confused by what Zeel was insinuating.
Her question earned a reply from Alice "Gods of faith and belief need human worship to live, they gave you fire and you praised them for it, they gave you plentiful fields and you praised them for it, they kept your oceans clean and gave you plenty fish, and you praised them for it.
But what happened when you learned to make a fire on your own? Learned to grow crops on your own? Discovered when to hunt and when not to, on your own? Do you still need the once so great gods?"
"So we hold power over the gods? I don't know about you all but I am feeling pretty powerful right now," Gabato said puffing his chest out akimbo style.
Zeel was surprised that the simpleton managed to understand what Alice was insinuating, despite the confusion apparent on Hank and Sean's faces.
"He reminds me of LJ," Zeel said which made Alice and Elizabeth chuckle.
"Don't get me wrong, you guys have been fucked over by gods as well, just like humans they're bad and good ones. But when you stopped your prayer, they went into a forced slumber, and then you killed them all slowly with pollution, internet, fashion, infrastructure.
In most worlds, the god or goddess of nature is long dead. Gods in their early stages are essentially slaves to humanity, made up of your collective ideals, and expectations.
The gods should fear you more than you fear them, so no we're not a threat to you guys, if you don't do anything too untoward us,"
"Kind of a bummer when I think about it," Sean said as Kailani and Gabato agreed.
"No, it is fortunate," Alice replied "Every world is missing something, and when it comes back, it comes with a vengeance that will roll over the world,"
Elizabeth pointed out "You forgot the ways of the gods and arts of the past, but it will return eventually and destabilize this world. At that time, you either learn to adapt or you will be killed amongst billions of others,"
Feeling the conversation drifting into dangerous categories, Zeel glanced at Hank in a threatening manner. Hank quickly caught his drift and shifted the type of questioning.
"I take it you are a different kind of gods?" Hank asked not seeing an ounce of dependency on Zeel's face.
"Sorta, we are 'do-what-the-fuck-we-want' gods, now everyone should stop asking questions," Elizabeth said as she knew Zeel and Alice had let them in on a little too much information because of their 'I can't lie' predicament.
"So any other talents besides godly stuff," Kailani asked hinting at the trio to sing.
"Well, we can show you some of the views we've seen in the past," Alice answered and she took out a small crystal ball from her storage ring, and threw them into the sand.
The beach lit up the entire night switching from scenic view to scenic view long after the group had slept, except Zeel and Alice who rarely slept since they had a chance to fall into an indefinite slumber.
"Is the power of faith really that bad?" Alice asked since it had been on her mind the entire time "Some people have begun to have faith in me, I can feel it. My divinity is integrating faster because of it,"
"Too much of anything is bad for you," Zeel replied while fiddling with his Mbeamer a bit before continuing "No power is bad power. At the very least, I don't believe that, but for me anything you can't control is bad,"
Alice shrugged "So you don't understand faith?"
Zeel shook his head "I understand it much more than I would like to. That's why I never think about it,"
Zeel then held his chest in pain as the chains on his soul constricted evermore tighter as if blocking a state of enlightenment from taking place.
Zeel had long since noticed that the chains on his soul also acted to limited his growth somewhat.
