《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 151 - Penance Stare

"I know what you are here for," said Mephisto "You come to gain a piece of his divine core, after all the ghost rider was once an angel before I dragged him down to hell and tortured him endlessly,"
"Sorry we're not interested and since this isn't your domain, you can't do anything besides honeyed words," Elizabeth interrupted like the hothead she was, but truly it was a well-planned interruption to test if Mephisto could truly act against them outside his domain of hell.
"Oh, my dear, but the Ghost rider's spirit belongs to me – the one who created him," Mephisto explained with a winning smile that could charm young maidens had he not currently appeared as an old man.
"No it belongs to him," Zeel said pointing towards Johnny who had his female partner hide at the back of the church.
Zeel had realized early on that should the spirit belong to Mephisto; he would have offered a deal right away instead of conversing for so long.
Zeel could also tell the soul fluctuation coming off Johnny was abnormal.
The soul fluctuation coming off Johnny was so blatant that Zeel did not even have to look to identify how damaged his soul actually was.
Realizing the accuracy of the statement, Mephisto turned to Johnny and said "You can have your soul back, bring the spirit of the rider to me,"
Mephisto spoke with great urgency not befitting his 'Ruler of Hell' title.
This made Zeel realize how eager Mephisto actually was to make a deal with the three of them, question is why? But a question that could be answered another time.
"No! I'm gonna own this curse... and I'm gonna use it against you. Whenever innocent blood is spilled... it'll be my father's blood...and you'll find me there. A spirit of vengeance...fighting fire with fire," Johnny said as his skull became one of blazing fire, as his pupil-less eyes scanned over Mephisto and everyone else there.

For a brief moment, it lingered on Zeel's body but once again turned back to Mephisto who seemed genuinely afraid.
"I will make you pay for this," Mephisto yelled as he faded away under the threatening stare of the Ghost Rider.
Zeel was about to continue speaking but suddenly he felt his body freeze up, almost like a primal urge was triggered – a fight or flight instinct.
It was his first time feeling this emotion.
'What is it called? Why can't I move?' Were the thoughts flooding his brain at that moment in time – the moment he felt afraid for the first time in his life.
The feeling, however, did not last as it quickly retreated into the depths of his subconscious.
Johnny Blaze who had now become the Ghost Rider stared at Zeel and then proceeded to lift a bony finger, pointing it towards him "You … Guilty… so many souls died … by your hands,"
Zeel could only smile bitterly, he was not wrong.
Zeel had technically killed off an entire species, and that's just counting the Mogadorians – how many more did he kill before the Mogadorians?
That was a secret he hoped would never come to light. Even the people of his Universe only knew the surface matters concerning their own Universe.
Only the council of Homo-Superiors were aware of all the atrocities that were committed to keeping the Homo-Superiors Universe alive.
Alice waved her hand, swatting the ghost rider into the church wall as she built telekinetic constructs of chains to chain him to the wall.
Elizabeth froze the surrounding air near the Ghost rider, extinguishing its flames; though she knew it was a temporary fix as she had to continuously freeze the surrounding air to compensate for the rising temperatures.
Zeel, who had been shivering with buckled knees, quietly stood up and found himself in a daze for a moment before voicing out his opinion "That is some potent stuff, I could almost feel my body burning from just a little look. What are those sockets you call an 'eye'?"

Zeel was more intrigued at this moment than afraid; that was the closest he had been to death since birth, but also the most intense emotional response he ever felt.
Zeel then proceeded to extract the 'God Syphon' fragment from his storage dimension and made his way over to the frozen Ghost rider, embedding it in his left chest area.
Soon the flames extinguished as Johnny Blaze regained his human body after which he slumped to the ground powerlessly.
Zeel then looked at the weakened Johnny Blaze and reached for his eyes.
Then Zeel's hands phased through Johnny's eyes sockets as a black bead materialized in his hands.
"What is it?" Alice asked, with Elizabeth perking up her ears.
"Something that should not exist in this Universe, an abyssal bead," Zeel said confused before denying the possibility that just popped into his head.
"Either way, we need to leave this Universe quickly," Elizabeth said as her intuition was alarming her of encroaching madness.
Zeel then encased the abyssal bead in a silver ball that disappeared into his storage dimension.
Then he turned his attention to his other hand.
In it, you could see the God Syphon changing and becoming a blue flame with wisps of black near its center, looking at the black color near the center you could begin to feel your body temperature rising and all the wrongs you had ever done resurfacing in your memory from the depths of your subconscious.
"Hmm, seems to suit me very well," Alice mentioned while looking at the flickering blue-black flame in Zeel's hand.
Taking an energy containment vial out of seemingly thin air, Zeel gestured to Alice "All yours, I honestly don't need to see any more Mogadorian torment appearing in my head anytime soon. I know I am an asshole, but I prefer not to be reminded every other day,"
"Good so one down, two more to go," Elizabeth cheered as she walked over to the two, knowing what they were about to do next.
It was best to leave immediately after offending the literal 'DEVIL'.
Johnny had stirred awake, Roxanne, who was previously with him, came back to the front; feeling as if Johnny had done them a favor, Zeel opted to give him some advice.
"The thing we got from you is called a divine spark, Meaning you're like a pseudo god or something. Train and grow your power, then help her grow as well. That way you won't have to abandon her and you can also do many more amazing things. So what if you sold your soul? Who said gods need them anyway?" Zeel said dismissively.
After which, Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth joined hands and with a shattering sound from the void and a flash from their respective MBeamers, the trio disappeared in a flash of multi-colored lights.
After the trio disappeared, the barrier around the town started flickering out of existence.
"Who were those people?" Roxanne asked confused about the entire supernatural ordeal.
"I don't know, but that guy was the real deal. When I looked into his eyes with my penance stare, I could see him slaughtering entire planets. But it just gave me more of his soul to burn, but after that, I felt a monster beneath all the torment, and it looked back at me and smiled. The thing even scared the spirit inside me," Johnny Blaze said shaking his head as if to knock the memory out of his mind.

Jordan Leoren – A Tale From The Wizarding World
Jordan Leoren is, unfortunately, not your average 10-year-old boy. He is handsome, from a rich family, and has been a very popular child model and actor since the age of 4. His long golden locks and piercing blue eyes could be easily identified by anyone in England and many across the world...and he hates it. He doesn't want the fame and attention, nor does he want jealous looks from other boys when the girls swarm him. All he wants from life is to explore and discover the unknown. From artifacts and treasures located deep in dungeons to strange glyphs or languages found covering ancient ruins. He longs for adventure and to be free of his constricting schedule. If it wasn't for his parent's proud smiles and expectant eyes, he would have long ago quit and lived normally. He lives a kilometer or so from the small village of Godric's Hollow in his family's manor. This manor has been in his family for generations and they are considered one of the founders of the village. This, and the small-town vibe, basically ensure Jordan cannot go anywhere in the village without being immediately noticed and called for pictures, autographs, or asked to meet people's sons or daughters. Jordan's saving grace is the huge plot of land that his family owns around their manor, and it is his one source of adventure and escape. It is in this large expanse of rolling hills, lush and verdant forests, and rocky crags that he finds a secret. A secret found just days before his 11th birthday. A secret that truly starts his life. No more dreaming of adventure, it is time for him to experience it and discover the mysteries of a strange new world and his family's legacy. The legend of Jordan Godric Leoren is about to begin.
