《The Crawford's Multiverse of Madness》Chapter 19 - Move Or Be Run Over

Earlier Jill, Sgt Peyton Wells - a long-time friend, and Terri Morales - a reporter who joined the duo along the way, were in front of the gate that would be used as an exit point from Raccoon City.
Everything was in disarray, people were being bitten left and right. Shots echoed throughout the streets, Jill and Peyton ducked reflexively a couple of times dodging incoming bullets.
At this moment, Raccoon city had become akin to a cage that held a sleeping beast.
The outbreak started small, one or two people becoming infected. This was manageable at the time. The authorities underestimated the threat, thinking only a few got infected due to the incident in The Hive.
Soon, their initial suspicions were proven wrong as hell broke loose within the city.
Things had gotten to the point that individuals were carefully vetted before leaving Raccoon City, and only a few were privileged enough to be amongst those allowed to leave.
Jill was there to help manage the situation but was forced to flee at the threat of death. The Law Enforcement threatened to kill those trying to escape.
About an hour later, in a location in Raccoon City, a trio entered a church- Jill Valentine, Sgt Peyton, and Terri. Scouting the place and giving it a brief onesie up and down, the team of three proceeded to claim it as their base camp.
"Terrible out there!" Peyton grumbled in his heavy tone of voice.
Peyton was of African American descent, with a build suitable for American football, though he could be considered a bit short since he hadn't breached the 6ft mark, he also was looking sickly pale at the moment.
"Yeah, I caught it on video," Terri said as she flipped through recent footage on her camera.
Terri was your average American woman down to the obsession towards her chosen career in the face of death.

"Why are you doing that?" asked Jill "Nobody is going to see it anyway,"
"This is gonna get me an award if I survive," Terri replied half-heartedly as even she thought she wouldn't be able to do anything with the footage.
Jill decided not to rain in Terri's delusions since everyone had their coping mechanisms for times such as this, her method was liquor and good sex, though the sex part has eluded her until now. All of a sudden, the trio who were socializing had a gun pointed to the back of their heads.
"Leave this is my place to hide!" A crazily speaking man yelled after remaining hidden to catch them off-guard.
Jill and Peyton were unafraid since the poor guy couldn't even hold a gun properly. At this rate, he would likely kill himself before killing any of them.
"Are you kidding? I think this place is big enough for all of us!" Peyton yelled since he was the largest there, even a hundred of himself would be impossible to fill the church.
"I am not sure!" the crazy man said in a panic as he sees they don't feel threatened by his gun at all.
Jill was not someone of many words as she disabled the man and took his weapon in three seconds flat.
"You dumb fuck this isn't the movies where you can shoot a gun without even holding it properly," Jill grumble.
She considered ending his manhood. A subtle feeling of sexual frustration had been plaguing her recently. Jill felt like she would encounter a fortunate and unfortunate sexual experience soon. It was the sixth sense of a woman.
Out of the blue, a priest comes towards the altar mumbling nonsense about being condemned by God. The Reporter as nosy as she was, filmed the priest until he concluded his 'it's the end of our time speech.'

*Roar*
The group suddenly heard a struggling cry from deeper inside the sanctuary. It was beyond doubt a zombie, Jill and company knew never to trust a creepy-looking priest during the apocalypse.
They're into some weird shit like little kids during regular times, Jill wouldn't be surprised if this priest was kidnapping zombies to fuck now instead.
"Jill, go and check it out!" Peyton commanded.
"Alright!" Jill complied causing the priest to panic quite a bit.
Heading to the back, Jill saw a zombie tied to a chair feeding on human meat. Jill immediately became disgusted, killing the zombie and the hypocrite priest. She was even a bit reluctant to waste bullets on The Priest.
At the front of the church, Peyton began hearing weird noises coming from the shadows and their blind spots.
"What the fuck is that?" The crazy man yelled as his flight or fight instinct was activated.
He chose to run away while shooting in random directions. Peyton considered stopping his idiocy but figured the man would make great bait and increase his and Jill's chances at survival.
It wasn't even a couple of seconds after turning around the corner that Man's voice went quiet, he had been killed in an instant.
Jill had just arrived back near the front and could see Peyton, and Terri moving around in circles aiming their weapons all over the place, Jill slowly made her way towards them while also counting the movements in the blurs of shadows.
"I count three hunters," Jill said.
'Hunters' as they are now known are the monsters that killed Spencer in the Hive.
"Yeah. Three of us as well, so that's what? One meal per hunter?" Terri joked.
"Okay, we need to focus," said Jill, not liking Terri's earlier joke.
They began firing shots and barely hitting the Hunters, their bullets dwindling as their targets dash around sticking to walls with agility like Spiderman from marvel.
After firing the last couple of shots, the trio realized that they were out of bullets. Though they did not show it, they had begun to despair.
Jill, for a brief moment, even internally contemplated whether or not she should use Terri as bait.
Even if Peyton was infected, he was still infinitely more useful than a dead weight reporter. That was until he began to show signs of zombification.
Jill also enjoyed sleeping with Peyton and was reluctant to kill him unless necessary.
However, Jill didn't need to act on her reckless decision.
"Wait!" Peyton said, he had a slight inkling of Jill's idea.
"I hear something!" Peyton continued to add as the noise began to amplify, making the sound much more recognizable.
It was the sound of a motorbike driving towards the church from the outside. From the sound of it, The Bike was moving at an astonishing speed. The owner seemed to have no intention of stopping either.
Before they could even see the bike, the group had already begun to subconsciously clear a path by excusing themselves from the center altar position.
