《Wrath of The Dragon Slayer》Volume 1: Chapter 6: Dragon Meat

Magna: ‘So much dragon meat…’
The Dragon Hunters acted as a group against the targeted dragons, in a sense, they were the exterminators sent in to take care of the dragons that were causing havoc to the populace.
As far as the Dragon Hunters knew, Dragons were classified into three groups: Low class, mid class, and high class.
Low class dragons were the weakest and their ability to think was no better than that of a sheep. A person at the level of a knight could beat one, but they usually travelled in packs to compensate for their weakness. They usually were about the size of small beasts.
Mid class dragons were somewhat smarter, and had access to magic. Generally, they usually ranged in size; smallest ones were size of a large bovine like a yak, while the largest ones were easily taller than most buildings.
But the most dangerous ones were known as the High Class dragons, dragons that were said to be humanoid in shape. Out of all the dragons, they boasted highest power and were nigh-impossible to take down. It is said that if you encounter a high class dragon, then that will be the day you will meet your end.
Many dragon hunting parties and groups that grew overconfident with their ability to exterminate dragons soon found themselves meeting tragic ends at the hands of High Class dragons.
For obvious reasons, the Dragon Hunter’s knowledge of dragons was incomplete. If anything, they knew only about Low Class and Mid Class dragons.
With enough training, anyone could defeat a low class dragon, but it would require experts to be able to take on Mid Class dragons.
Luckily, Magna’s group was tasked with hunting down a Mid Class dragon that had many Low Class dragon minions.
With their demon leader leading them, they managed to triumph over the dragons without incurring any losses. Now, it was time to collect their prizes.

Dragon Hunters reported back to the Dragon Hunter Guild. The body parts served as a proof that the requested mission was completed without a problem, which guild would reward them for.
The Guild would also buy the body parts of the slain dragons for a good price.
Each body part of a dragon had some kind of use: the scales were resistant to fire, bones were superior to wood in hardness and lighter than metal, making excellent materials for tools, and the meat itself could be used to feed countless hungry stomachs….though, only after it has been thoroughly detoxified by mages.
Dragon meat, in its natural form, is extremely deadly for human beings to consume. One might as well swallow snake venom in a cocktail glass. Eating raw dragon meat was almost certain to guarantee a painful end to the life of the one idiot enough to eat it.
Demi-humans were somewhat more resistant to the toxin in dragon blood, but it will still cause them to be quite sick afterwards. Elves and other humanoid non-humans would not fare any better than humans, but they had higher chance of surviving it, though just barely.
The only race that was completely immune to the toxin was the demon race.
Magna: “We can’t even eat it ourselves, since we don’t have anyone who can use detoxification magic proficiently enough…”
When the dragon meat is usually delivered, the squads of elves working for the guild would simultaneously cast detoxification magic upon the meat, and with their combined efforts, it would take at least two days before the meat is safe for consumption. Still, the dragon meat was high in nutritional value and due to the sizes of the beasts they were taken from; there was always lots of it.
In their entire group, Magna was the only one who could use detoxification magic, but it would take at least ten Magnas in order to make such big slices of dragon flesh safe for consumption. The toxin was simply far too concentrated for Magna to take care of alone.

After killing the dragons, their group proceeded to dismantle their bodies, some being in charge of scales, others bones, and etc…
Magna and Arma were tasked with skinning the severed leg of a green dragon. The leg itself was twice the length of Arma’s body.
Magna: “It sure is big, isn’t it, Arma-kun? Just be careful to not get any toxin on you….What the heck are you doing!?”
As soon as he turned his head to look at Arma, Magna ended up screaming out loud. The young boy cut off part of the flesh from the severed leg and was now munching on it. Immediately, Magna grabbed hold of Arma and started to shake him hard.
Arma: “Mag- chew – na – chew -san?”
Magna: “Spit it out! Spit it out right now!”
Arma: “Stop shaking me already!”
Magna: “If you don’t spit it out, you will die in less than a minute!”
Arma: “I am telling you, I feel fine!”
Magna: “Everyone says that before dying! Don’t swallow it!”
Arma: “Too late”
Magna fell on his knees.
Magna: “Arma-kun, I did not know you for long, but…farewell….”
He averted his gaze, not wishing to see the moment Arma’s life force faded away. A minute passed. Magna was expecting to see the corpse of the young human boy, but instead, Arma was looking at him with a questioning look.
Magna: “Wait, so you are fine? For reals?”
Arma: “It seems so”
Magna: “But eating raw dragon meat should be fatal!”
Akara: “Speak for yourself, Magna-chin”
Akara appeared, chewing on a large slice of dragon meat on a bone.
As a demon, she was the only one in their group who could eat raw dragon meat without worry, until now.
Akara: “The boy seems to have a talent for eating dragon meat. If he didn’t, his body would already have perished by now. Unless he drops dead all of a sudden, I don’t think there is a reason to worry. For all we know, Arma-kun has one tough stomach for a human”
Then, a wolf type demi-human, Wiley Sid, made a rather crude joke.
Sid: “I guess that means we have another dragon meat eating weirdo in our gang, huh?”
Arma: “Hey Sid! Try this, it’s delicious!”
Even if his goal was to become a strong Dragon Hunter, Arma still was a twelve year old child. When it came to some things, he would do on impulse without a second thought.
Arma ended up stuffing dragon meat into Sid’s mouth. In an instant, Sid fell over, his mouth foaming and left leg twitching back and forth.
Akara: “Instant knockout”
Magna: “Captain, is he gonna be ok?”
Akara: “He should be fine. This happened before. Though, someone will need to carry him on our way back. When he comes to, he will be having an intense stomach ache and possibly constant diarrhea for the next couple of days….so, yeah. Arma-kun, please don’t stuff the dragon meat into anyone else’s mouth. It seems only you and I can eat it, but everyone else will end up like this idiot” her face adorned a rather brazen smile befitting of a demon.
Arma: “Yes, captain”
As Akara munched on the dragon meat, Arma couldn’t help but look at the right foot of his captain.
From what he heard from Magna, she lost her foot to dragons a long time ago, replaced by a metal prosthesis. Perhaps eating dragons was her way of getting back at them….

Silvergates: Northworld (Book 1 complete)
Five years ago, the first Silvergate was found. At first, they called it a hoax. But since then, more and more people have entered the alternate dimension called Northworld, received their Interface, and going on to real adventures. As it gained momentum, they called it a problem. Now, they call it a crime. But for nearly a half a million people, it's now their real home. Yearning. Escape. Duty. The reasons to go are many. Despite the criminalization of the Silvergating, people still seek out their ticket to Northworld. But for new Gaters Jasper Hill, Erika Haglund, Henry Esteban, Northworld has surprises in store. Not every rumor are false, not every conspiracy theory is stupid. When the veil lift for them, showing truths about Northworld that no one suspected, they may have a hard time making themselves heard. And being trusted may mean the difference between life or exile forever. Northworld is a litrpg story where people enter an actual world, submit to an RPG-type Interface, and discover an alternate reality. You could describe it as a reversible Isekai since people alternate between Earth and Northworld. The characters are usually casual about it, which means casual talk and the not-infrequent profanity. Four letter words dropped in conversation (or internal monologue). Warning: one potentially horrible theme and one implied sex scene. Book 1 is complete, as the title says. Book 2 is expected to start in 2022 (hopefully).

8 401Viltrumite in the MCU
Seeing the destruction Lord Argall made during his conquest, Frei abandoned the Imperial Army and his noble bloodline to join the Rebellion led by Thaedus. Despite killing Argall, the Viltrum leadership maintained their view on the rebellion being traitors. For worse, they enacted a war against people they considered "weak."Believing Thaedus is the only one who can rally the other races against the Empire, Frei and others sacrificed themselves against the pursuers for Thaeddus to escape. Beaten but victorious, while floating through the outer orbit of Viltrum, Frei entered a portal with scattering blue energy.Exiting the portal, Frei lost his consciousness inside of the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility, a SHIELD base in 2011. Dr. Erik Selvig was astonished by the appearance of the strange bloody man. Moments before, he was just experimenting with the Tesseract. He called upon Nick Fury about the occurrence.----I do not own anything except for the main character. The profile photo is just something I blended using Photoshop. This project, I'm just working on for fun. Not much really. Maybe a couple of chapters per week.
8 185Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
