Midora the muscular blue-haired man is looking at the stats info shown from his game interface screen.

"... that black-haired elf... she's not bad..."

Midora is genuinely surprised looking at Veylene's stats. Then he looks back at another screen showing Shion, Victorious and Veylene.

Veylene who is looking at the golden knight starts talking.

"That white magic circle... is that your magic?"

Veylene talks while completely ignoring Shion's presence.

(She...! She is not sure whether that magic circle is his doing and yet she still attacked him just now!?)

Shion thinks that as she can't help but to get astonished by Veylene's action.

However, Victorious does not reply and instead ready his sword. He also controls his winged horse to face Veylene.

"!"

Shion immediately knows that Victorious is planning to fight Veylene.

Not wanting her father to fight against the member of Liasr Guild, Shion shouts at Victorious.

"Wait! Victorious!"

However, Veylene rushes towards Victorious while ignoring Shion.

Victorious controls his winged horse to immediately fly backwards.

Veylene chases Victorious with running.

However, the moment Veylene passes Shion, her strong rush causes the wind pressure to knock Shion away.

"Kyaaa!?"

Shion immediately falls to the ground due to the knockback.

After running few metres chasing Victorious, Veylene leaps from the ground and jumps straight towards Victorious preparing to hit him really hard with her sheathed sword.

However, Victorious predicted that attack. The winged sword crest at the back of his hand shines with golden light.

Immediately after that, countless golden particles appears surrounding Victorious and floats towards leaping Veylene.

"!?"

Veylene immediately notices that the momentum from her leap is stopped by the mysterious golden particles around her.

Before she can fully grasp what happened, Victorious swings his sword in attempt to cut Veylene's neck.

However, Victorious' sword cannot cut Veylene's neck and instead knocks Veylene's body to the right.

The moment Veylene falls to the ground, Shion stands up looking at the battle.

(That's...)

Shion thinks that as she looks at the gold particles surrounding Victorious who is still riding his winged-horse.

"Graize Crest Force's power huh..."

Midora says that while still sitting on top of a tree.

Veylene who is lying the ground slowly gets up and looks angrily at Victorious.

"How dare you...!"

She says that with voice full of rage.

Meanwhile, Victorious takes a glance at his sword.

(There's no blood...)

Victorious thinks that while remembering that his sword indeed made contact with Veylene's neck but couldn't cut it.

However, he is not that surprised considering his vast battle experience as a war veteran.

Then he silently looks at Veylene's gaze.

In other part of the forest, Stephanie the Orc Guild Master and other adventurers are busy fighting the large green eagle monster called Bladeleaf Eagle.

Unconscious Miika is leaning on a tree together behind the goblin kids because Stephanie put him there.

The Bladeleaf Eagle flaps its wings strong enough to cause wind pressure and blows many adventure away.

Rimikia the elf receptionist comes out from bushes and casts a brown magic circle on her right hand and a rope appears.

At the same time, Griselda the rabbit-type beastman turns her slime familiar into a whip and she lashes the whip towards the Bladeleaf Eagle.

Both Rimikia's rope and Griselda's slime managed to catch both of Bladeleaf Eagle's legs preventing it from flying upwards.

Not missing the chance, the Orc Guild Master throws one of his axes and control it with his Dark Attribute Poltergeist magic so that the axe continuously spins midair towards Bladeleaf Eagle.

Knowing that other adventurers are still recovering from Bladeleaf Eagle's attack, Antarea the Dark Elf Blacksmith steps up and casts a red magic circle on her right hand pointing towards the eagle monster and then she shouts her magic's name as incantation.

"Ember!"

*stab!*

The moment Stephanie's axe stabs Bladeleaf Eagle's body, Antarea's magic circle shoots a fire ball. Stephanie's axe throw makes the eagle monster stagger and the fireball hits on the eagle's stomach. But the wound is shallow.

The Bladeleaf Eagle suddenly spreads both of its wings. Its wings shoots some feathers like a knife towards Rimikia and Griselda.

"!?"

Griselda managed to evade the feathers by jumping back but Rimikia has her right leg stabbed despite also jumping back to avoid the feathers.

"Kuh!"

"Rimikia!"

Stephanie is shocked and runs towards the injured Rimikia.

The Bladeleaf Eagle then dives in from the sky towards the goblin kids group.

"!? Everyone! Get away!"

The nun shouts that and pick some goblin kids up to avoid the incoming Bladeleaf Eagle.

Three other goblin kids named Ean, Dhilli and Milua also pick up the younger goblin kids to evade the eagle.

*crash!*

The eagle ends up not hurting any of the goblin kids and destroys the tree that was once behind the goblin kids.

The dark elf blacksmith, Antarea, gets worried and look at the Bladeleaf Eagle's direction. Ean the goblin kid also looks at the eagle while holding two crying younger goblin kids.

Much to their surprise, the Bladeleaf Eagle is holding sleeping Miika with its talons while ascending to the sky.

"MIIKA!"

Ean's shout makes others realize what happened and look at Miika who is getting carried by the eagle monster.

Some adventurers aim at the eagle using bows and magic circles.

"Wai- !?"

Stephanie wants the adventurers to not hit Miika but much to his surprise, the Bladeleaf Eagle does not turn towards his group and goes away instead.

"!"

Knowing that the Bladeleaf Eagle will run away, Antarea chases after it.

"Antarea!? Wait!"

The Guild Master shouts but Antarea already left the group.

Rimikia the elf receptionist wants to chase Antarea while she is in the middle of healing her right leg with her "Heal" magic circle on her right hand. But Stephanie stops her.

"You need to focus on healing first."

Rimikia silently obey Stephanie's words

Then, Stephanie looks at Erkimi the dyrad receptionist who is standing near the crowd and calls out to her.

"Erkimi! Go help Antarea!"

"Huh!? Me!?"

"If things get too dangerous, drag her here if you have to! I'm counting on you!"

"... ahhh! How bothersome!"

Despite her complain, Erkimi chases after Antarea by jumping up to tree's branches one after another. Some people are surprised by her agility.

Meanwhile, Ean remembers about the time Miika saved her. She also intends to chase the eagle monster but Griselda stops her. Then Griselda starts talking.

"Your friends need you here."

"B- but...!"

Ean says that while looking at Griselda.

"Don't worry, I'll also go."

"Eh?"

After looking at Ean's surprise, Griselda looks at Thesiemi the Liasr Church's nun.

"I'll leave things here to you."

"Don't overdo it."

Thesiemi replies with worried tone.

"Don't worry, I know."

Griselda says that while fixing her black witch hat's position. Then she run towards the direction where Antarea left.

Stephanie looks at Griselda leaving but decides to let her be and gives orders to other adventurers.

"Alright guys! Secure the perimeter! Don't let any other monsters pass through our defense!"

And Thesiemi is looking at the direction where Griselda left.

"... 'Don't worry. I know.' huh... geez..."

Thesiemi says that with soft tone so that no one can hear her.

Inside other part of the forest, Antarea is running really fast in the forest. However, the Bladeleaf Eagle keep getting further and further away.

(This is bad. At this rate...!)

Antarea thinks that as she keeps running at the Bladeleaf Eagle's direction. She does not realize yet that it is also the same direction towards the burning Liasr Town.

Meanwhile, Erkimi the dyrad receptionist is jumping from one tree to another chasing for Antarea.

(That woman... she is faster than expected.)

"... !?"

However, an orange monkey monster named Marmarott Gaboon bares its claws towards Erkimi while jumping from another tree.

Fortunately, Erkimi avoids the claw attack in time and jumps down to the ground.

As Erkimi look at the tree above, another 5 Marmarott Gaboon come and surround her while still standing at trees.

"Ugh..."

Erkimi looks at her surroundings as she says that.

One of the monkey monsters jumps at Erkimi baring its claws. Erkimi is about to take something out from her pocket to fight against the monster.

However, a blue whip comes and ripped the Marmarott Gaboon's body apart.

"!"

Erkimi looks at the direction where the whip came from.

Griselda quickly arrives besides Erkimi wielding a whip-shaped slime.

The moment Erkimi sees Griselda, she quickly focuses her attention on the monkey monsters while also speaking to her.

"You'll get another back pain if you keep moving like that."

"Don't underestimate me. I can still keep up with the young ones!"

Right after saying that, Griselda prepares her slime whip while looking at the monkey monsters.

At the night sky, the one-eyed goblin is flying using the 'BOOSTER' relic.

With his pink-coloured eyes, he is looking at the forest surrounding the burning Liasr Town. But he suddenly hears a monster screech behind him and looks at the source of the voice.

"!"

The one-eyed goblin evades the Bladeleaf Eagle's beak attack and takes a distance from that monster.

"Tch! At time like this...!"

He aims at the monster using the 'BOOSTER' relic's double cannon.

"!?"

However, he ends up not shooting as he notices Miika being carried by the eagle monster's talons.

(If I remember correctly, that kid is from that town...)

The one-eyed goblin thinks that as he remembers Miika from the time he sold Sweet World to Panthos.

The Bladeleaf Eagle shoots its sharp feathers at the one-eyed goblin but he evades it with ease.

(I might be able to use him. But this relic's firepower might accidentally kill him... I also don't have my crossbow with me...)

The Bladeleaf Eagle then ascends upwards while carrying Miika.

(Then...!)

The one-eyed goblin thinks that as he decides to kill that monster without killing Miika. He clasps both of his hand together and a red magic circle appears in front of his hands.

"Rip apart and blaze through! Fire Claw!"

He let go both of his hands and two fiery claws appears and envelops both hands.

With a boost from his relic, the one-eyed goblin chases after the ascending Bladeleaf Eagle.
