The sun shone bright onto the village but the ice that coated it didn't melt. Sato wiped the sweat from his shoulder-length purple hair as he continued to tinker with the spaceship. "Almost done."
Yuuki walked over to Sato peering at the spacecraft. He then turned to Sato. "How come you're not wearing a shirt? It's not that hot."
Sato answered while he continued working on the spaceship. "It's not like I have anything else to wear. My shirt and jacket were both destroyed in my fight with Jiro. Hey, where's Ai?"
Yuuki put his finger to his lips, "I think she said she went to get you something."
Sato sighed, "Or she's just too lazy to help out."
Ai walked up behind Sato. "Oh really? Fine, maybe I should be lazy and let you do this by yourself."
Sato quickly turned around, "No, I didn't mean it! Come on, please help me, Ai."
Ai giggled, "You overreact to everything. It's really funny." The white haired girl handed him a black hoodie. "Here you really need a shirt and I know black is your favorite color so I got you this."
Sato smiled, "Thanks Ai. You're the best." The teenager threw on the black hoodie.
Ai winked, "I know. Now let's finish this thing." Ai knelt down and started to help Sato work on the space ship.
Once the two finished, Sato, AI, and Yuuki all walked into the space vehicle. Sato stared around in awe. "I think we did a pretty good job. Too bad, we had to use the Sacred Keys to power it up."
Ai nodded, "Yeah, but now at least we have a way to find Jiro and Sakura."
"There seems to be four bedrooms." Yuuki informed.
"Sweet! We have one more than we need! Can you say arcade room?" Sato shouted ecstatically.
"Sato. How do you plan to make an arcade room in a place like this?" Ai questioned him.
"Magic." Sato answered simple. "You're a Magic Bakemono after all."
"Idiot! That's not how it works! You should know that by know! Ai scolded him.
Sato laughed rubbing his neck, "Sorry. I'm just so excited. I never got to travel through space before."

"You think we have? Anyway, let's get going now." Ai suggested as she walked over to the pilot's seat.
"Hey! How come you get to drive?" Sato asked irritably.
"Because I didn't break my contracts with the Elemental Spirits.." Ai explained slightly mocking Sato. "So I'm the only one who can steer this thing."
Sato walked over to Yuuki. "So, Yuuki. You still hate me or am I growing on you?"
"Middle ground. The blue haired kid replied simply.
Sato laughed awkwardly. "Well, at least you don't hate me anymore." Sato's stomach growled, "Hey Ai. Can we stop for dinner first?"
"You think I have a map of the universe or something?" Ai questioned him irritated.
Yuuki's eyes started glowing, "Go south."
Sato and Ai both exchanged puzzled looks but Ai did what, he said hand steered the ship south. "I see a planet." Ai said as she landed the spaceship in front of one of said planet's restaurants.
"Whoa! The exact location and everything. How'd you do that Yuuki?"
"I don't know" He admitted. "Lucky guess?"
"Well as long as we get to eat, I don't care how you l do it." Sato ruffled Yuuki's hair.
"Don't touch me." Yuuki growled.
Sato, AI and Yuuki all got out of the ship and walked into the restaurant. All of the customers there were human. The sign at the entrance read Please seat yourself. So the three took their seats at a booth. Sato picked up a menu. "Oh man, all of this looks delicious!" He drooled.
Ai scanned the menu. "I need something with low calories."
"Since when do you care about that stuff?" Sato questioned.
"Since I started caring about my figure!" Ai barked. "But what I wouldn't expect a guy to understand."
Sato sighed, "Great. Now I have to deal with this new Ai."
"Hand over the money!" A brown haired man held a gun to the cashier's head. He was accompanied by many other men all with their own guns.
"You can't just barge in here and demand for me to give you my money. And expect for me to follow your orders.
"Give me the money or I shoot!" The brown haired man threatened.

"Not in your life." The cashier refused, slightly shaking from the gun still pointed at his forehead.
"Do you have a death wish or something?" The leader of the gang asked a she began to pull the trigger back.
"Hey!" Sato got up from his seat and walked over to the where the commotion was happening. Everyone stared as he did so. "He said you can't have the money. Now do everyone a favor and get your sorry assess out of here.
"What'd you say, punk?!" The brown his man turned around and aimed his gun at Sato.
Sato grinned, "You heard me. I said get your sorry asses out of here."
"Damn you punk!" The man fired off multiple bullets at Sato.
Sato remained in the same position as he deflected all of the bullets, causing them to hit the chandeliers and pictures instead. They décor crashed down onto the floor. "Is that all you got?"
The leader grunted, "I'll show you. Let's get em boys!"
"Good. You'll need all the help you can get." Sato taunted.
The gang charged for Sato. Two of the men extended their legs aiming for a kick to Sato's neck. But Sato dodges them both by bending backwards. He picks up a glass cup from a nearby table and bonks them on their heads with it. The two fall down as Sato's pours the water in the cup on them. "Now you're all washed up."
A group of three comes at Sato next. All of them planning to punch Sato from different directions. Sato ducks underneath. The group's fists collide with each other's jaw s instead of Sato.
Sato ran over to pick up a broom as the rest of the gang minus the leader charged at him. The ten smirked, "I'll mop the floor with you! Literally. Sato swings the wet mop at the gang, dodging all of their attack in the process. He slammed the final one on the head with the stick part of the broom.
Sato fixated his eyes on the leader of the gang. "You ready?"
"Damn punk." The brown haired man snarled. "I'll show you who's in charge!"
"Oh really? Who?" Sato provoked the man.
The leader came rushing in at Sato throwing his fist forwards with all of his power behind it. A loud pooping sound echoed through the restaurant as the attack made contact. Sato had caught it with his palm. He crushed the man's knocked with his fingers. "Now apologize and take your friends and get the hell out of here." Sato let go of the man's fist.
"I'm sorry!" The man bowed to the manager. He then quickly ran out the restaurant with the rest of the gang following him.
Sato walked back over to his booth while everyone stared in shock at him. The cashier walked over to Sato with a stern look on his face. "Here's your bill."
"What? But we didn't even order anything yet." Sato complained.
"It's for all the decorations you destroyed." He explained.
"But we don't have enough money." Sato protested as he skimmed the bill.
"I can't believe you got us kicked out." Ai crossed her arms. They were all now outside the restaurant heading back to the spaceship.
"It's not my fault. I was just trying to do the right thing." Sato argued. "I had no idea the dude would be so ungrateful."
A man teenager with long blonder hair ran up to Sato. "Hey, you're that guy who took on that whole gang by himself."
Sato nodded, proudly, "Yep, that's me. What's up?"
The blonder responds, "Well, first I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Nikio Harvana."
Sato introduces himself as well. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sato."
Ai waved her hand, "I'm Ai."
"And my name is Yuuki." The blue haired boy says quietly.
Nikio scans Ai and Yuuki. "The girl has red eyes. And the little boy has tiny horns peeking out of his head. "Bakemono!" Nikio pulled out his bow quiver form behind his back and was deciding whether to aim the first arrow at Ai or Yuuki.
Sato ran extended his arms in front of the two. "Nikio! What the hell are you doing?!"
"I'm a Bakemono Hunter." The blonde teen explained his sky blue eyes fixated on Ai. "It's my job."

This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights.
