AI walked down a spiral stair case and into a large kitchen. "Good morning." The Magic Bakemono said as she took her seat at the kitchen table.
"Good morning Ai." A brown haired woman smiled at Ai.
"Thanks for letting us letting us stay here for a while."
The brunette nodded, "Anytime. You are my niece after all." She took a sip from her coffee mug. "So how's you friend feeling?"
AI shook her head, "He's still really down. I'm worried about him, Aunt Sayuki."
"Give it time." Sayuki told Ai.
Sato was lying on the bed in the guest room staring at his hands. "Arashi. I remember it. I remember but I lost control." He clenched his fists. "Whys did this have to happen, dammit?! I was supposed to save him not kill him!"
Suddenly Sato's was standing in front of his house on Earth. But something felt different about it. "Am I back home?" He wondered. "How'd I get here?"
A young Akio, Shun, and an orange haired Fire-Bat Bakemono known as Ryo, were standing in front of the house as well. But they didn't seem to notice Sato. Ryo was holding a baby Arashi. "Hey Akio. When are Hiro and Yukiko gonna show us their new baby?"
"If anyone should know it's you Ryo." Akio stated. ""You are his best friend after all."
Ryo rubbed his neck, "Yeah, I guess you're right. But still that guy can be pretty unpredictable."
"Oh, I'm unpredictable now am I?" A purple haired man asked as he pooped up behind Ryo.
Ryo becomes startled and falls backwards. "When you do stuff like that yeah!" He shouted. "Geez Hiro, you really scared me."
Hiro smiles, "Oh that's funny. I didn't think the great Ryo, strongest Fire-Bat Bakemono got scared."
Ryo sighed, "Smartass."
"So where's Yukiko anyway?" Shun questioned.
"Oh she's still in the hospital giving birth." Hiro answered his friend.
Akio spoke, "But didn't you say you were gonna stay until the baby came?"
Hiro nodded, "Yeah, I was. But Yukiko startled screaming all of a sudden. I got really scared."
Akio, Ryo and Shun's sweat drops. "You really are one of a kind, Hiro." Akio stated.

"Hiro!" A black haired woman ran over to Hiro and the others followed by a green haired woman with sapphire blue eyes and bat wings.
Hiro turned his head, "Yukiko?"
Yukiko runs up to him holding a purple haired baby in his arms. "Our baby is here!"
Hiro smiles brightly, "So then, this is our baby, huh?"
Yukiko nods, "What should we name him?"
Hiroshi rubs his chin. "Hmmm. How about Cannonblaster?"
A red stress mark appears on Yukiko's fore head. "That's a terrible name for a baby! Be serious for once Yamagata Hiroshi!"
"Uh-oh. She called me by my full name. Shit just got real." Hiro laughed.
Yukio growled at him. "Be serious.
Hiro recoiled behind Akio. "Akio, she's scaring me."
Akio sighed, "Just pick a name already Hiro."
Hiro pointed his index finger up. "I got it!" Satoshi!"
Ryo walked over to Yukiko and bent down to talk to Sato. "Hey Satoshi. I'm your crazy Dad' best friend. I guess that kind of makes me like your uncle. I hope I'll be a good one."
"Did you just call me crazy?" Hiro questioned offended.
Ryo ignored him, "Here I'd like you to meet my son, Arashi. I hope you two will be good friends someday." Ryo holds out Arashi and the two babies touch hands.
Suddenly Sato was back in the guest room. He plopped onto the bed. "Was that real?"
Back downstairs Ai was still talking to Sayuki. "So Kaoru hasn't even tried to take over this Country?"
Sayuki shook her head, "No he said he just wanted to work as one of my guards."
"Listen."Ai spoke. "Kaoru's plans to take over this Kingdom eventually. He just knows you're too smart to let it happen rights in front of your eyes. He wants the Sacred Keys!"
Sayuki nodded calmly, "Yes I know. I am well aware of Kaoru and Jiro's plans. I've been slowly preparing as well."
"Oh really?" Kaoru comes out of nowhere and dropkicks Sayuki out of her chair.
"Aunt Sayuki!" AI shirked. "You're next!" Kaoru swung his leg around at Ai. Bu the Magic Bakemono put up a green shield defending her from the attack.
Kaoru scowled, "Oh is that how it's gonna be? Fine then." Kaoru took a key out of his pocket and turned them. "I open my contract with the Spirit of Speed!"

Ai took out a key of her own. "I open my contract with the Spirit of Water!" She launched a barrage of water blades at Kaoru, who manage dot dodge through them all with ease.
Before she knew it, Kaoru was right in front of Ai. The dark haired man grinned. "So, think you're fast enough to beat me?"
Ai released a pulse of water from her hand. Kaoru vanished and then reappeared behind Ai. He extended his leg slamming it down n her. Ai slid across the castle floor. Before smashing into the wall she managed to defend herself with a white shield.
Karou laughed, "This is pathetic! Where's Sato?"
Ai groaned, "He's not here right now."
Kaoru raised his eyebrow. "Oh. Really?" Kaoru started to walk off. "Well then bye."
"Hey het back here!" Ai demanded.
Kaoru sighed, "I really don't have time to waste fighting a little girl."
"I'm am not little!" AI protests.
"Okay then. I don't have time to waste fighting a big girl." Kaoru stated.
"Smartass." Ai mumbled. "I'll show you jerk!" A wave of water surged over Kaoru, slamming him into the castle walls.
Kaoru quickly rushed back up to AI connecting his fist with her mid-section but the white haired girl barely managed to stand her ground. AI began to cover her body in Water armor. She swung her upwards kicking Karou in the chin while knocking him off his feet.
Kaoru dashed back but slipped at the floor now covered in water. "Damn it!" He cursed.
Ai released a blast of water form her palm and Kaoru vanished as a result. "Five clones down. One to go."
Sayuki dusted off her golden robe as she got up off the floor. "You know Ai. Next time you're about to fight your enemy. How about a little heads up?"
Ai laughed awkwardly, "Sorry. Hey what's the closest relation to Speed in this Kingdom?"
"Speed?" Sayuki questions. "You wanna make the contract right now?"
Ai nodded, "Yeah. I don't think Sato will be fighting anytime soon. So I'll need all the help I can get."
"I see. Okay then you can go to Bunka's house." Sayuki informs her.
"Bunka? He's such a creep! Can you come with me please?" Ai begs.
Sayuki chuckles. "Sure. Come on, he's right next to door."
"Huh? But I thought Bunka lived in Woodlake Village?" Ai questions puzzled.
"Yes he does." Sayuki answers as the tow keep walking. "Bu the also has bought another home here solely for his vacations. Oh there he is." Sayuki points to Bunka sitting on top of his roof with looking through binoculars. "Hold on. Is he staring at me?"
Sayuki front flips onto the Bunka's roof and snatches the binoculars. "And just what do you think you're doing?"
"Uh, nothing!" Bunka blatantly lies.
"Lies!" Sayuki shouted as she swings her lightning covered fist into Bunka's gut. "Pervert.
Bunka groaned, "I never win."
Ai flew up onto the roof as well. "Um, hi Bunka."
"Oh hello Ai." The Speed Bakemono greeted back. Bunka looked around curiously, "Where's Sato?"
"He's not feeling well." Ai responded. The key in Ai's hand started glowing as it transported her to space. A black hole appeared in front of her as a a man surrounded by blinding light jumped out of it. "Hey! What's up?"
Ai shielded her eyes, "I'm here to make my contract."
The Speed Sprit nodded, "I see. Okay then this should be fun! Rule number one be careful when using this power. Rule number two, always remember that the Speed is on your side. Rule number three, have fun!"
"Um, that's it?" Ai asked.
"Yeah. I don't like making all those boring strict rules like all the other Element Spirits." The Speed Spirit explained."
"Okay then." Ai placed her hand over her heart. "I swear to follow the rules of the Speed contract."
The next morning Sato and Ai were said goodbye to Sayuki and headed started to head to the next country. "Aunt Sayuki told me that if we cross that bridge we should be right at Geral Kingdom of Heralia County."
Sato had a spacey look in his eyes. "Huh? Oh yeah, cool."

8 943What's A Koopa To Do? (My Hero Academia/Bowser Self-Insert Story)
A MHA and Bowser SI mashed together. Please enjoy.
8 140Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
