《True Assassin of Round Table》Roble Holy Kingdom ( 2 )

A few days ago, when Nash went to Zoastia Settlement in Abellion Hills to meet Agravain.
"Are you serious about that, Nash-sama?"
Agravain and Nash are now seen sitting facing each other in front of a wooden table.
"Yes, that is the most reasonable choice."
"But do you think Esmeralda-sama will agree to that? I doubt she will just agree even if you tell her, this plan is very much against the ideals of a country that Esmeralda-sama dreamed of."
Hearing that, Nash put on a thoughtful face. What Agravain said was something that had disturbed his mind all this time.
"That problem ... I will discuss it directly with her. Because the role of Esmeralda-san will be needed in this plan."
Agravain nodded, before he asked.
"Actually, why did you change the plan beforehand?"
"I didn't change it, it's just that there was a confounding factor that forced me to carry out this plan ..."
Agravain looked into Nash's eyes and knew what the intruders meant.
"Player, huh?"
"That's right, at first I didn't really expect to get that information, but when Merlin and I went to Flying City, we both met a Dragon."
"..."
"The dragon knows things about Yggdrasil and the arrival of the Player in this world ..."
The atmosphere became quiet after Nash finished explaining the matter. Then Agravain said.
"As I have reported to you, we have now conquered a third of the Abellion Hills territory."
Nash widened his eyes in surprise. He was surprised because of the rapid progress of the conquest led by Agravain.
"Woah, that's amazing ... even though it's only been 10 days since you started your conquest, so how many races have joined?"
"Coupled with the Zoastia race, there are currently around 13 races joining the Abellion Alliance."
The Abellion Alliance, is a name pinned to a group of Demi-Humans who are under the rule of Zoastia Race and Agravain.
"The 13 races that have joined, and Progress 33% completed, this is twice as fast as I thought ..."
Nash thought, he then looked into Agravain's eyes.
"I want you to conquer the entire Abellion Hills in 2 months, can you?"
Agravain nodded confidently.
"Sure, Nash-sama."
After that, Nash recalled Agravain's previous report.
"That's right, what about that demon, Demiurge? Did he start moving again?"
Agravain's face turned serious, and his hands balled into a fist.
"That's right ... 3 days ago, a few days after the battle between me and him, I had made several search teams to identify the demon's movements."
" And the result? "
"We found some strange buildings that were built in the grasslands in the west."
"Strange building?"
Nash tilted his head.
"That's right, the buildings were built using only a few light materials and were built in a quite hasty manner, as if they were only used as a temporary place. At first we were not suspicious, but terrible things appeared when we entered the basement of the building. "
"..."
"The basement is a scene that truly depicts a hell, and is disgusting. Blood everywhere, a foul odor fills the room, and many parts of the body are scattered on the floor."
Nash just kept quiet and continued to listen to Agravain.
"We kept going inside and we finally found out what kind of place it really is ... it is an Experiment place for living things."
"Experiment place for living things?"
"Um, the view of that day still looms in my head, I am not bothered by that, however, all the people I brought there were deeply traumatized that day."
Advertisement
"..."
"We see human hands grafted into Orcs and vice versa, exchanging organs in one creature to another, and various other disgusting things that seem to aim to create a heteromorphic race."
Hearing that, Nash widened his eyes before returning to thinking.
'The Heteromorphic Race, huh ...'
The Heteromorphic Race is a race that is arguably a monster race, which has a double or more morphology. Nash himself was one of them, but because he could manage his appearance thanks to one of his races namely Demi-God, the characteristics of a Phantom that Nash had were invisible.
Agravain then spoke again.
"But all that seems to have been abandoned, I don't know the reason but the place was not forced to be abandoned, but deliberately abandoned."
"So that Demiurge deliberately lured you to see the experiments he had done huh ..."
Agravain nodded, because as Nash had said, if Demiurge wanted the gruesome experiments he was carrying out unknown to anyone, then he would have destroyed the buildings where he was conducting the experiment, and closed the basement tightly. However, he instead deliberately let Agravain know that.
Nash then stood up from his seat, Agravain who saw it said.
"You want to go, don't you want to look at the village first?"
"Well, I can't be here all the time, because there are some very important matters in the castle, so send my regards to Vijar and Muar."
Agravain nodded, then Nash said with a serious face.
"Be careful, Sir Agravain. I don't know for what purpose the experiment was carried out but for sure, Demiurge is planning something, something that might disrupt this conquest plan. If things get worse, report to me."
"Fine, Nash-sama."
Nash then turned and walked out of the room, he thought.
'Demiurge ... that demon, maybe he can be the key to the existence of a player besides me and Esmeralda. '
***
'If there are more than one player, or one of the Top Ranker, then the Camelot development situation is certain to be greatly disturbed, I have to find information as soon as possible ... '
"Nash-sama."
'Besides, it's been a few days and Lancelot hasn't reported anything to me. '
"Nash-sama."
Hearing that voice, Nash finally woke up from his reverie.
"Ah, I'm sorry Percival."
"You think too much, Nash-sama. Relax, aren't you the one who invited me to Spar?"
Right now, Nash was facing each other with an NPC. They were seen wearing casual clothes, with ordinary iron swords in their hands.
Percival, one of the strongest Knights in the Knights of Round Table. He has a tall, muscular body, a handsome face with red eyes, and red hair that is like a thorn combed back.
In general, he looks like a lion. Despite being one of the strongest, and one of the few LV 100 NPC in Camelot, Percival is not a Floor Guardian.
Percival is an NPC created by FireisHot and is a warrior who can use all weapons. Bow, Spear, Sword, Dagger, Stick even he can also use Magic.
An All Rounder knight, Jack of All Trades. Even though he was a complete warrior, and could use all kinds of weapons, but that also made him unable to become the strongest among the NPCs in Camelot.
In addition, his character settings are very bad.
Right now, Nash and Percival will do the usual Spar. Nash just wanted to clear his mind a little from the documents submitted by Guinevere to him.
"Hmmm, but Nash-sama ... isn't the way you hold the sword very strange, you will have difficulty using the sword that way." Said Percival, pointing to the way Nash held the sword.
Advertisement
Nash held the sword like he was holding a dagger, he held the handle of his sword upside down, and of course it would be very difficult to use a sword.
"It's okay, I'm a dagger user so this is the most comfortable way for me."
"Hee ~, then fine."
Because the spars both of them were carried out in private so there were no referees, and when they were ready for each other. They both immediately started their spar.
As Nash moved towards him, Percival immediately threw the sword in his hand towards Nash at an insane speed.
* Fwuosh. *
* Clang *
Nash could easily deflect it, but Percival's purpose was not that, but to Obstruct Nash's vision.
He then drove towards Nash with a smile and planned to use his bare hands.
* Fwuosh *
"Punch! Yeah!"
* Gasp *
Surprisingly, before Percival had hit Nash, Nash had appeared behind him while trying to slash Percival with his sword.
Percival widened his eyes in surprise, but it did not last long, before he said with a smile.
"Gotcha ~"
"Triplet Magic: Blazing Tornado!"
In an instant, three sizable tornadoes of fire emerged from the ground and surrounded Nash which was behind Percival. While Percival dodged his magic and leaped forward, he smiled as he looked at the three tornadoes of fire that surrounded Nash thoughtfully.
'Nash-sama can also use Shadow magic, and that is dangerous magic, but that magic has two fatal weaknesses, namely Light and Fire. That's because, both Light and Fire have no shadow at all ... hehe I won. '
Percival, who felt his victory had been decided, prepared to drive towards Nash when the firestorm vanished, but suddenly he felt the cold of the iron on his neck.
"You little bastard... didn't you say that we did the Spar without using magic."
Nash's cold voice made Percival's whole body shiver, Nash suddenly appeared behind Percival because he is using Embodiment of Shadow.
"N-Nash-sama, Guten Morgen?" Percival said bitterly.
Hearing the stupid response from Percival, a blue vein appeared on Nash's forehead. He then thought while sighing.
'* sigh * thankfully this moron isn't a Floor Guardian. "
He then struck the iron of his sword on Percival's head.
* Plak *
"Ouch! Alright, alright, I'll lose! I give up."
Well, because of that character setting, Percival was unable to maximize all his fighting abilities, because he was a really idiot person.
Nash then turned, and sheathed his sword. Likewise Percival is behind him.
"Nash-sama, how about we talk in the bar?"
"Well, that's a good idea, you treat."
"Hah ~ what are you saying? Aren't you the master of Camelot, everything can be free if you are there."
Nash then stopped and with an annoyed face then squeezed Percival's head.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"
"Business is business, do you understand!"
Percival only nodded obediently like a child who was scolded by his father. Nash then released Percival and left the room.
"Nash-sama, wait for me ~"
Percival then followed Nash. Whether because of his stupidity or what, only Percival can act like that in front of Nash. Yeah, even though Nash didn't hate it at all.

* Pant *
* Pant *
* Pant *
"Wait a minute, *pant* Gwen, where do you want to go? *pant* "
Right now, in a palace hallway, a beautiful woman in modest clothes was running around being chased by a tall, golden-haired man.
The woman is Gwen and the man is Caspond. Caspond looked breathless as he tried to chase after Gwen who ran fast without breaking a sweat.
Seeing Caspond who was exhausted while chasing her, Gwen stopped running and turned towards Caspond. She then said with a flat face.
"Caspond ... you are very weak."
"Eck!"
An imaginary arrow appeared to pierce Caspond's heart at the sound of Gwen's words.
He then smiled bitterly and said.
"Well, I am indeed not athletic, since I was a child, I preferred spending my time reading books in my father's private library rather than having to practice swords with my instructor."
Gwen just stared at Caspond flatly.
"Caspond likes books? I want to see."
"Eh, want to see? You want to see my books?"
Gwen nodded innocently and had a deadpan expression. Caspond then smiled and asked Gwen.
"Do you like books too?"
And Gwen shook her head. Hearing that, Caspond put on a smiling face but tears came out of his eyes.
'Then why do you want to see the book !!! '
However, suddenly Gwen's voice was heard.
"I've never read a book so I don't know whether I like it or not ..."
Seeing that, Caspond widened his eyes briefly before he smiled and thought while looking at the innocent expression on Gwen's face.
'I guess what ... it turns out he's like a child who doesn't know anything ...'
Caspond then stood up straight and supported his body, he then said.
"Then come follow me to my library, there are various kinds of books, you will definitely like it ..."
Gwen only nodded. The two of them then went to the library. Arriving at the library, Gwen was greeted with a view of a very magnificent and large library.
Thousands of books neatly arranged in that place, the smell of old paper became typical of the room.
"Gwen likes this smell."
"I see, I also like this smell, this smell is called Blibliosmia, for a bookworm like me, this smell is a reflection of the contents of the book itself, arguably one of the important components in the book."
However, when Caspond explained it at length, as if she didn't care, Gwen instead left Caspond in front of the door and ran around in the library.
"Ah, don't run around like that in the library, Gwen."
However, Gwen ignored him and took the book that was on the shelf, he opened it but after a few moments of silence, he returned to put it and looked at Caspond with a flat look.
"I can't read it."
"Geh!"
Caspond almost fell because he was surprised by this.
'So you can't read it, huh !!! '
However, he finally calmed himself and sighed. Caspond then approached Gwen and put back the books that were scattered due to her actions.
* Tap *
* Tap *
Caspond then approached the table in the middle of the library and looked at Gwen who was still silent in her place watching Caspond since earlier.
"Come here, I'll teach you how to read."
Gwen complied and sat in a chair, in front of her there was already a book. However, before Caspond could start teaching Gwen something. Gwen asked with a dry face.
"Reading? What for?"
"Well, for what, of course so you can read the books, and because reading is very important."
"I see ... then teach me."
Caspond smiled, then he began to teach Gwen from introducing letters to her. After a few moments, a knock suddenly came from the door which made the study session stop.
* knock *
"Hmm ... come in."
Then, a maid opened the door and said to Caspond.
"Caspond-sama, Calca-sama is calling you to the meeting room, she said she wants to talk about something quite important."
" Oh, I see. "
Caspond then turned to Gwen and said.
"I'm sorry, Gwen. I have an urgent matter for a minute, so can you repeat what I taught before and wait for me to return?"
Gwen nodded without saying anything. Caspond felt uncomfortable having to leave Gwen alone in the library, but Calca seemed to want to talk about something important to him.
After that, Caspond and the maid left the room, leaving Gwen alone in it.
The atmosphere became very quiet, and no sound was heard. Then, suddenly the pen held by Gwen fell to the floor. And Gwen stood up from her seat.
Then, Gwen said a few words.
"The situation allows ... orders are carried out, Camelot Order, mission begins."

Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope
