Calmantos had released his sword. To what form was unknown. Water poured out of it. He formed spears with the water which launched at Giguk with such intensity they would impale him if one hit the mark.

Giguk managed to get some distance from Calmantos. He started to unleash his blade. The earth trembled, the surrounding building around them began to rise. Giguk’s skin turned to stone, his eyes glowed white. His Sword transformed into a massive maul made of earth. The entire building that had been floating flew out in random directions. The ground they stood on rose up a few hundred feet in the air.

While this happened the passage below collapsed. Bwoire and Calnurtuk were still fighting, ignoring everything going on. Calnurtuk’s blade did not change shape, but rather an immense pressure emanated from his body. Bwoire took a quick tactical retreat. “He’s figured me out already. “ said Bwoire. Implying that Calnurtuk knew the weakness of his third form.

Giguk pointed at Bwoire, the ground continued to rise towards the clouds. “I’m surprised you did not go with your brother. You know the same pain as Maluk, to love and lose people to time all because you are immortal.” Bwoire glared at Giguk “I would dishonor the memory of my wife by doing that. I chose to be with her knowing that she would die of old age, that I would be left in this world for all eternity until someone killed me. When that day comes, I’ll meet her in the afterlife.”

Giguk glared at Bwoire. “Maluk’s gift would make everyone you care about now immortal. How could you turn that down?” Bwoire yelled “I will never make a pact with a demon for such selfish reasons! Maluk couldn’t cope with the pain of losing loved ones to time, he did something terrible because of that. No one in the North asked to become cursed, he forced it on them.”

Calmantos pointed his blade at Giguk “Enough talk.” A massive earth pillar came from the ground below to support the platform now as high as the clouds. Giguk even expanded it with his powers, making it longer and adding walls. Calnurtuk appeared in front of Calmantos, he swung his blade. Calmantos did not move an inch, his body turned to air as the blade cleaved through his body.

The moment the blade passed through, Calmantos’s body turned solid again. “I can see why Maluk says you are the only one who can beat him. Your power of adaptation is scary Calmantos.” Calmantos glared at Giguk. “No swordsman alive can kill me, do you honestly think you stand a chance?” Giguk laughed. “We’ll see about that, you see I had something delivered to me not that long ago. A gift from Maluk should I encounter you in a fight.

Giguk raised a wall between in front of himself. “Calnurtuk, run. You can’t win here, if I die you are the only hope to continue the plan.” Calnurtuk nodded and went into full retreat. Giguk pulled a heart out of his pocket. He lowered the wall. Both Bwoire and Calmantos’s eyes shot open. “That’s a cursed heart, don’t eat it!” yelled Calmantos.

Giguk swallowed it hole. His stone skin began melting away. His eyes turned black, blood enveloped his body. The earth began to shake again, the platform they were on started crumbling away, along the with the pillar he made earlier to support the platform. Water came from the ground and hit Calmantos, it slowly began to retract, bringing him safely to the ground.

Bwoire’s from was lightning, he didn’t need to worry, he hit the ground like a bolt of lightning. The earth continued to tremble. “Go find his son. I can handle him,” said Bwoire. Calmantos nodded. Bwoire transformed into his fourth form, dark clouds formed in the sky. Lightning hit the ground at a rapid pace. Giguk waited with anticipation. In a demonic voice, he laughed “You think you can beat me? I’m ten times stronger now that I’ve been corrupted.”

Bwoire said, “Just wait.” His form began to look more physical along with his blade. Suddenly lightning erupted from his body in all directions. His body began to take on a more physical shape, his hair turned golden, his skin turned golden. His entire body radiated with golden electricity.

His eyes shone so brightly they were painful for Giguk to look at. Finally, pressure began to build, it built so high that the entire fifty-kilometer radius around them was leveled. The other swordsmen who had been fighting were barely clinging on to their chi bubble. All of the Oren they fought were now dead, bisected, and decapitated just from the pressure of his release.

The earth itself began to crumble beneath Bwoire. It didn’t matter to him, having his feet planted on the ground meant nothing. Finally, he had released it. His fifth form. Giguk who was barely able to protect himself. He stood there slack-jawed. “When did you accomplish such a feat.” Bwoire smiled “I’ve been hiding this for ten years, only my father knows about this. I was hoping to hide it until I killed Caltheon.”

He pointed his finger at Giguk. “This is my win.” He vanished from sight but quickly appeared behind Giguk. He put his hand on his shoulder “It’s over for you.” Giguk turned to ash. The heat from Bwoire’s fifth form electricity was so strong, Giguk’s body couldn’t handle it. He was now a pile of ashes on the ground.

Bwoire turned his blade back to his first form. His fellow swordsmen could finally approach him. He looked at them “Most of units one and five are trapped underground. We need to find a way through to them.” They ran to where the entrance was. It was completely covered in rubble. “We need to do this carefully, if the lower caves have not already collapsed from that battle, they will if we make any unnecessary moves.”

Ten minutes ago underground. Amma ran took the central passage. She ran as fast as she could. The passage came to an opening. One Oren waited. His entire body was covered in scars just like Anarion. “Will you give me more?” he asked. Amma wasn’t sure what to say. She unsheathed her Katarn. The Oren turned around, he had a dagger in his hand, cut himself across his chest.

“Will you bring me more pain?” he asked with a smile that reflected the lunatic he was. Amma firmly clutched her Katarn. A bright orange aura enveloped her body. The pressure caused any loose objects in the room to start floating. In her eyes were a dim orange flicker of light. “I’m not going to bring you pain, I’m going to kill you,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ithilious who went down the hallway on the far left kicked down a door. It flew and hit the only Oren in the room in the face. Ithilious unsheathed his Katarn. However nothing special happened like with Amma and Anarion, he stood there ready to fight. His opponent was twenty feet tall, he was ridiculously muscular. He had a scar that went straight down his forehead to his nose. “Some puny Swordsman wants to die painfully,” he stated.

Falcon had gone down the path next to Anarion. He opened up a door carefully to discover a well-lit room. There was a single Oren ready. He was smaller, his body was not extremely muscular. He stood up, holding his Katarn in body hands. He looked extremely agile. “I hope you are ready to die,” said Falcon gripping his Katarn. The Oren laughed hysterically. “No one has ever beaten me, puny human.”

All four swordsmen from unit five had their respective battles. However, Anarion faced overwhelming odds. The strength of each swordsman they faced was unknown. All they could do was fight to live.
