《Judas Valiant: Chorus of the Machine Giants》Chapter 5-8: Onward! Into new Dwarden!

Punching people with such innocent yet noble intent makes the day go a tad bit smoother, like a glass of crystal clear water during a scorching summer day, just satisfying. Oh, and look! He is staggering towards the railing! He is going to fall! This voice in my head...it wasn’t just me, it was like a second consciousness that thrived off sin and could only yell over my own. It was odd...yet the voice was completely foreign. Did my special aging affect my mind? Did it give birth to another monster?
He is falling, Lian! Or are you going to let him? Letting him is the easiest option, plus it’ll get you a good laugh! Keep ya clear from his pestering, like the dog he is! I felt my head almost turn on its own, shifting towards Taylum as he staggered closer to the railing. My eyes gleamed in satisfaction, but my heart yelled for justice.
“Taylum!” I could only call at him as his back hit the railing.
It was sickening, the voice in my mind was laughing so loudly I could hardly hear myself think. I could almost feel myself starting to smile and cackle aloud.
“Taylum damn it!” I yelled extending my arm.
It was too late. He was already too far for my reach. Oooo looks like we hit him too hard Lian! That boy is going to be heading towards the bottom very soon. Taylum slammed his back on the railing in a way that launched his body forward, causing him to tumble towards the center of the balcony and finally collapsing with his face down with a little blood to show. Despite this, Taylum was safe.
“This isn’t funny! I almost killed him.” I yelled while gripping my hands tightly onto my head.

Child, I could only do what you truly want to do. I am simply the nature you deny, made more powerful with desire. This mind is my own, this mind is my own, this mind is my own! Indeed it is.
After a short period of silence, I walked towards Taylum and turned his body around to have him face upwards, subsequently wiping his nose of some blood with the end of his white pajamas. I felt bad, yet I had played his game and won. I grabbed a towel hanging loosely on the railing and tucked it under his head. It was time to keep moving.
