"Mum, I thought you said dad was dead. So why am I looking at the exact copy of him?" Yuu says.

"That's what I thought when he didn't return for 2 months. Now if you don't mind, mummy is going to take some time dealing with this" - Yuu's mum responded.

As soon as Yuu's mum went downstairs, Yuu snuck into the room and started to tap his dad on the cheek to check if he was real.

While time went passed, Yuu stared at his dad like a dead Crow. Trying not to blink for even a minute, Yuu was about to go to sleep. As both of Yuu's black beautiful eyes reach close to their final destination, a sudden jump from his dad like a lion that was about to approach his prey, Yuu's dad finally woke up.

With only five words, he was able to turn that final destination to a final boss battle. Those five words were "I am finally home, son."

As Yuu jumped with a smile, he shaped his hand into a fist and punch his dad in the face and said "What took you so long?"

Too bad for the father that the boss battle didn't go the way he wanted it.

"Is this how you treat your father!" Shouted Yuu's dad.

*Yuu's mum enters the room*

"What is with the loud voice?" Shouted Yuu's mum.

Yuu's dad turned around and saw his wife. It felt like centuries for Yuu's dad and mum since they saw each other. Yuu's dad stared at his wife as if he saw angel falling from the sky. And with that said, Yuu's dad said to the angel "Miss me, beautiful?."

As the husband thought his wife would come in with a kissed with his arms wide opened, she had a special medicine she wanted him to taste. It was a dose of a rock-solid fist.

Time went passed later on that day and it became time for the father to have his long-lasting meal.

"So dad, what was it like going on your tenth mission?" Says Yuu with an excited expression.

"Where should I begin? Should I tell you about the lake monster or the night eaters?" The dad exaggerated

"Tell me all of it." The son said looking at his father with an excited expression on his face, wishing to become like his dad.

"Honey, could you please tell our son about why he shouldn't become a black magic, Knight." Says, mum.

"But I can't see why not. Everything about it is amazing, you get free food, respect, honour, power and more." The dad said with excitement.

"When I become a Knight, I'm gonna surpass you, dad. "- Says Yuu with a proud face.

"Ha, then I guess you will have to train a lot." Yuu's dad said with confidence.

*Mum smashed the table*

"Please, honey tell him the truth! Stop hiding the secrets that the Magic Knights hide from us. I know I told you not to tell him the truth, but he actually wants to become one!" - Mum says that with tears going down her face.

"So it's finally time to tell him. I thought we would tell him when he was older." The dad said with a depression voice.

"What do you mean, tell me the truth?" - Yuu said with curiosity

"Son, I've been lying to you about how easy it is being a Knight. You have to go through basically non-stop training, lots of work, risking your life every day on the battlefield and losing those you care deeply about." Says Yuu's dad with a dark tone of voice.

" I know"- Yuu's responded, but got cut off by his dad.

"You know? You know how hard it is to look at all the innocent people that you killed?! YOU KNOW HOW HARD LISTENING TO YOUR ENEMY BEG FOR MERCY?!" Shouted Yuu's dad.

"Let me show you what power and fear look like with your own eyes and maybe then you will understand a quarter of what I go through every day. If you're able to look at me directly at my eyes and say that, then I will let you go to Knight Academy once you're 15. If not, then you have to say your goodbyes to your dream." - Says Dad with a deadly stare of a beast that hasn't eaten for days.

As Yuu faced the quarter of the pain his dad went through, will he back down or will he raise?
