Kuro chased the Plasma grunts on the Southside, they ran him out of the Prior and he was taken to an open field where all the Prior's end lead towards, the outskirts end of Castelia City. There, he saw a fountain in the center of the area, with a bench to It's left, and two vending machines to the north of it. Kuro looked around, but the grunts were nowhere to be seen. Above him, he heard a cry..a cry of a Pokemon he had never seen. When he looked up, it was a Pokemon known by the name of Absol. Absol seemed to cry as it stared Kuro dead in the eyes, and before Kuro knew it...Absol vanished. Then he heard of the sound of a cane hitting the ground. "Clink, Clink, Clink." Kuro and Oshawott glared towards that direction, and Kuro started to get scared, just a little. Then, the one who stood several feet in front of him was Ghetsis.

Ghetsis: Tell me, child...are you familiar with the legend of the founding of the Unova Region?

Kuro shook his head left and right, and Oshawott did too.

Kuro: N-No...

Ghetsis grinned a little bit, and he had let go of his cane as it remained standing tall on the ground.

Ghetsis: Before there were two, there was one..The Original Dragon. This Dragon was a being of power, knowledge, and enlightenment. It shared it's knowledge and bared its fangs at those who stood against it. When the two heroes combined their forces and worked together to work alongside this Dragon...they controlled Unova, gaining the hearts of the people and creating the region we know as Unova.

Kuro(Thoughts) A single Pokémon...Created an entire region!?

Ghetsis laughed, as he revealed one arm hidden beneath his cloak.

Ghetsis: But...there was one fatal flaw. The struggle for power! The brothers always fought with each other, trying to best one another to gain the power of the dragon. One brother believed that the Dragon was evil and would destroy the world and tried to get it under his control, and the other brother believed the Dragon was a gift from God..Arceus itself, and that they should learn to live in peace with it. Their truths and ideals clashed, causing the dragon to spilt into the two Dragons we know today...Tell me trainer, which brother do you follow? The one who believes that Pokemon should be controlled or the one who said they should live in peace with humans.

Kuro would begin to think about it for a minute, hugging Oshawott as he looked down at his Pokémon, seeing that Oshawott would look at Ghetsis, not looking at Kuro at all.

Kuro: I...I want Pokémon to stay with people in peace....

Ghetsis slowly grabbed a Pokéball hidden beneath his cloak, and pressed the white button on the center of it -- As a huge Black and Blue dragon with three heads roared behind him as he was unleashed from the Pokéball. It was a Hydreigon; sighing at Kuro's response Ghetsis pointed at Kuro, and Hydreigon rushed towards Kuro. Kuro started to run away, and Oshawott jumped off his head and released a pulse of water at Hydreigon! Hydreigon took the hit, and slowed down just a bit. Kuro threw his Pokéball on the ground, and his Pansage popped out. Oshawott landed next to Pansage and they were ready to fight. Kuro ran back towards the both of them.

Ghetsis: Tri-Attack!

Three sphere's formed in front of the Hydreigon's heads, and they seemed to take the form of a triangle without lines. One set of sphere's were red, the other light blue, and the last one yellow -- They launched the attacks at Kuro, Pansage, and Oshawott! The three took the hits and fell down, Kuro stood up, but he let a faint cry of pain, and grabbed his arm. . . He was hit with electricity, Oshawott was frozen, and Pansage was burned. Oshawott soon thawed out, and started panting. Ghetsis watched the three of them suffer with a grin. Ghetsis started walking towards the three of them, and Hydreigon went and slammed it's tail down on top of Pansage's head, and shoved Pansage into the ground! Oshawott jumped towards Hydreigon, and Hydreigon knocked Oshawott back with its head. Kuro's Pokémon were defeated, and Kuro tried to yell out Oshawott's name, but a shock of electricity went through his body, and he fell down holding his arm. He looked up at Ghetsis, and trembled, he was scared for his life. . . What's going to happen to Kuro now? Hydreigon roared around in what seemed to be agony behind Ghetsis, as Ghetsis laughed.

Ghetsis: Is this what you meant by saying that 'you want Pokémon to stay with people' If that's so, then look at what it's brought to both you and your Pokémon, nothing but a world of pain!

Ghetsis laughed, as his Hydreigon Unleashed a gigantic beam of dragon energy at Kuro! Kuro was blasted into the side of a building, and he too was knocked out. Ghetsis walked away.
