Shiro rushed into the Dreamyard. Worried, scared, and overall -- Caring about Kuro's current state. She wonders if the Team Plasma Grunts harmed him, or worse. Shiro: Kuro! KURO! Kuro please answer me!

Oshawott heard these cries and yelled back out to Shiro.

Oshawott: Osha!

Shiro heard these cries and ran towards them. She eventually found Oshawott and Kuro. Her eyes were completely covered in fear as she saw Kuro lying on the ground, not moving an inch. She ran and held Kuro in her arms, holding him close. She could feel the slash marks the Zangoose had made on his back and some of the blood got on her hands.

Shiro: Kuro......No...

She started to cry. Tears fell from her eyes, and onto Kuro, as he slowly opened his eyes.

Kuro: S.....Shiro?

Kuro slowly placed his palm on her cheek, as she looked into his eyes, sobbing even more as she held him tighter.

Shiro: Don't scare me like that... I thought you were gone....

Kuro stood up a little bit.

Kuro: They're gone...

Shiro: Who's gone?

Kuro: My Pokémon....Team Plasma set broke my pokéballs and released them....I have no Pokémon left...

Oshawott placed his hand on Kuro's, looking at him with puppy eyes.

Kuro: Expect Oshawott of course...

Shiro held onto Kuro's hand, holding it tight.

Shiro: Team Plasma.....I won't let them get away with this!

Kuro: But...Shiro, it's okay-

Shiro: It's not! It's not okay. They hurt you... That's more than enough reason for me despise them.

Kuro was scared, he could tell that Shiro was upset. Despite that, he reached his hand out towards her. Placing his hand on her cheek, he pretended as if he was dying.

W-We'll get them for this....bleeeh. Shiro laughed, nodding as she looked at Kuro with a smile. Shiro: Like hell we will.

Striation City

Kuro walked with his hands in his pocket, still shivering. He had flashbacks of that incident with Team Plasma, and it just sends chills down his spine. Shiro placed her hand on his shoulder as they walked Simultaneously when they heard someone.

Girl: Anyone looking for a Pokémon? Free Pansear, Pansage, or Panpour riiiight here!

Kuro heard this and walked towards the girl. As he put his hand up, he completely froze. He....was nervous.

Shiro(Laughing): Haha, Kuro is such a scardey cat!

Girl: Hm? Are you two looking for a Pansage, Panpour, or Pansear?

Kuro: U-Um...Y-Yes, i-I'll take T-The P-Pansage...

The girl smiled at him brightly, she found it kind of cute that he was nervous.

Girl: Alrighty then Mister, what's your name? Kuro: I-It's Kuro...Kuro Overdrive.

Girl: Well Mr.Kuro, here you go!

She handed Kuro a pokéball, the held inside the Pokémon of his choice, Pansage.

Kuro: T-Thank you..

She nodded at him, and he blushed a little, covering his face with his hat. As he walked away, the girl could see the deep cuts on his back.

Girl: What....happened to him?

Striation Gym

Chili: Welcome there challenger! To the Striation Gym, home of the Striation Brothers! It's also a gym! Chili: I'm the burning and intense member of the team, Name's Chili!

Cilan: I'm the best member of our family, My name is Cilan. Cress: I'm the calm and collected member of this Trio, Name's Cress.

Chili: And together we make....

Chili, Cress, and Cilan: The Striation Brothers! And we're going to take you down!

Kuro started to shake up, he was scared. Shiro patted his shoulder. Once Chili saw that Shiro was back in the building he screamed! As Shiro looked up at him and stuck her tongue out. Chili: Wah!? It's you!! Shiro: Heeey there Striation Loser! My buddy Kuro is gonna beat one of your other brothers!!

Shiro laughed as she got behind Kuro -- massaging his shoulders and giving him a small and brief prep talk. Shiro: you go this Kuro! you'll do fine I know it."

Kuro nodded and still shaking -- walked towards the Striation brothers, and pointed at Cress.

Kuro: I-I'll face you, you don't seem so scary. Cress: I'm flattered, well let's begin the battle -- Kuro.

Cress pulled a Pokéball from his pocket and held it near his mouth.

Cress: This battle will be a 1 on 1 Pokémon match, who's ever Pokémon faints first, loses.

Kuro nodded, and He pointed at the battlefield, as Oshawott jumped down, ready to fight. Panpour appeared from Cress's Pokébal and jumped onto the field. It was all ready to go!

Cress: Panpour, Fury Swipes.

Panpour slid in front of Oshawott and scratched it. Oshawott fell over and stood back up, Panpour continued to scratch, and scratch as Oshawott kept falling and standing up.

Kuro: W-Water gun!

Oshawott released a beam of water from his mouth, but Panpour jumped over it.

Cress: Bite.

Panpour backflipped onto the ground and tried to bite onto Oshawott but Oshawott jumped back and released another Water gun, blasting the Panpour back.

Kuro: Y-You did it!

Cress: Congrats you landed your first hit. Don't get too excited though, Panpour Acrobatics!

Panpour disappeared and reappeared in front of Oshawott, and started attacking him. Oshawott eventually fell down as Panpour jumped a couple of feet away from him. Kuro was nervous, he knew Oshawott couldn't take much more. He had to finish this quickly, but how?

Cress: Time to bring this battle to an end, Panpour -- Aqua Tail!

Panpour's tail was covered in water, and he rushed towards Oshawott. Oshawott started to run away as he tried to grab the Scallop from his chest. Then an idea sparked in Kuro's head.

"Oshawott, Razor shell!"

Oshawott stopped running, grabbed the Scallop from his chest, and as Panpour tried to slam down his tail on Oshawott, Oshawott slashed Panpour diagonally, from it's Chest to Its waist, as Panpour fell down! Cress: Oh? Surprise attacks I see. Panpour, acrobatics! Kuro: Oshawott -- water gun! Panpour disappeared and reappeared as Oshawott tried to him quickly with beams of water, but each hit failed -- as Panpour appeared in front of Oshawott and delivered a strong kick! Kuro: T-Tackle! As Panpour kicked Oshawott, Osahwott grabbed panpour's foot and threw the Pokemon to the ground! Panpour fell, and Oshawott stepped on top of Panpour. Kuro: Razor shell! Osahwott whipped the scalchop off its chest, raising it in the air as a blue blade erected from the top of the scalchop. Then, Oshawott slashed down with all the might in its body to slash down at Panpour -- defeating it with one mighty attack! Cress: P-Panpour...? Oh dear, it seems as if you win...

Kuro blinked, as Oshawott placed his Scallop back on his chest with a grin.

Kuro: Oshawott...

Shiro ran towards Kuro, hugged him and Spun him around. She's more excited that he won than Kuro himself.

Shiro: You won! You won! Yooooooooou won!

Kuro: Yeah I did, it was all thanks to Oshawott.

Shiro looked at Kuro, as something just crossed her mind that she was thinking about during the mists of the battle.

Shiro: How come you didn't use Pansage? It would have been waay easier.

Kuro: I-I didn't want to make it fight...I just got Pansage.

Shiro: Ooooh, okay I guess!

As Cilan and Chili watched from their seats, Cress walked towards Shiro and Kuro, as he fixed his hair, smiling with his eyes closed. He handed Kuro a badge, and Oshawott hopped on Kuro's head.

Cress: Kuro, was it? Great work out there, you've earned the Trio Badge.

Kuro shivered, and slowly took the badge. Kuro: T-Thank you!

Shiro released her grip around Kuro, and grabbed his hand, rushing out the door.

Shiro: Come on! Let's go! To the next gym!

Kuro: W-Wait! Slow down!

Cress laughed a bit, as he walked towards Chili and Cilan.

Cilan: You looked like you had fun out there Cress.

Chili: Yeah! You were all fired up! Haven't seen you like that in a minute. Cress: Yes, I was greatly amused. It's a shame, though. Cilan wasn't able to battle today."

Cilan: Oh no worries, it's alright.

Chili: Hey speaking of Kuro..did you see what was on Kuro's back?"

Cress: No, why?

Chilli: He had three deep slashes in his back. Which means him and his Pokémon could've been in some kind tough battle before they got here. For a timid young man like him he seems to be in some deep trouble. Cress: Trouble huh? Cress stared at the entrance/exit of the gym, thinking back to how Kuro and Oshawott grew a little closer during their match with him.

Cress: That boy....I wish only the best for him.
