Chapter 10: Blacky versus Cool Breeze
“Hmm? Are you afraid?” Cool Breeze taunted with a frown.
His original intention was to teach Blacky a lesson, now Blacky didn’t even want to compete.
Blacky smiled then replied. “Young master Breezy, how can I go up against you? I simply have no hope of winning so why should I bother?”
“Well that’s fine, but what about our previous deal? I would give you the Golden Leaf whether you won or lost. If you surrender then I’ll simply keep it for myself.” Cool Breeze smiled as he spoke smugly.
Village Chief Shamix frowned as he watched on by the side. The Golden Leaf was a rare treasure which he personally found. It could directly help Janna enter the third level of the Spiritual Warrior stage.
Blacky wasn’t surprised at all with what Cool Breeze said. Even so he put on the expression of loss as he rubbed his head.
“I will only use my left hand and one finger. Although I easily defeated those fools, you probably could too, right? Or are you in the same league as those trash?” Cool Breeze noticed Blacky’s struggle, he attempted to persuade Blacky.
Blacky ended up shaking his head. “Although I’m confident against those two.. I definitely wouldn’t be able to defeat them in the same manner as young master Breezy..”
Cool Breeze snorted. “Fine, I won’t even use my Spiritual Warrior strength at all. I’ll go up against you while completely restricting myself. If I use any of my Spiritual Warrior abilities, it will count as my loss.”
“Ok then!” Blacky immediately replied with a crafty smile.
In the end Cool Breeze was too young and arrogant. Blacky was sure that Cool Breeze wouldn’t just let him forfeit.
Cool Breeze smiled, although Blacky had some skill it was nothing in front of his eyes.
“Well, are the contestants ready yet?”
Village Chief Shamix revealed no change to his expression as he watched on. In fact he was more than happy to wait.
Blacky and Cool Breeze nodded simultaneously.
“Final match, Breezy versus Blacky begins.” Shamix announced the start of the match.
The crowd had heard the entirety of the conversation. They all believed that Breezy was too arrogant. It was one thing for a level one Spiritual Warrior to beat a level two Spiritual Warrior. However an ordinary person simply couldn’t match up against a level two Spiritual Warrior.
Raven eyed Blacky with some praise. He was good friends with Old Man Black, he could see a little of that strange old man’s characteristics within Blacky. But unlike many of the spectators he wasn’t too confident in Blacky’s chances.

“Well? Are you going to attack?”
Cool Breeze remained standing still with his right hand behind his back. He smiled without care.
Blacky didn’t make a single move, he just stood in the arena seeming to be lost in thought.
“Well if you won’t attack..” Cool Breeze grinned as he began to move towards Blacky.
Just as Cool Breeze was around five meters away from Blacky. Blacky turned and ran towards the edge of the arena.
“What the hell? You think you can escape?” Cool Breeze felt as though Blacky had lost his mind.
The entirety of the stadium was currently stunned as they watched how Blacky ran.
“Hahaha, if I run out of the arena it will count as my loss. But according to our agreement you still have to give me the Golden Leaf.” Blacky laughed strangely as he ran.
Everyone who watched on couldn’t help but praise Blacky’s shamelessness. Even Cool Breeze felt shocked for a moment.
“Hmph? With your speed you can’t simply outrun this young master.” Cool Breeze snorted as he suddenly increased his pace.
Raven’s eyes narrowed as he eyed Blacky who was reaching into his robes with both hands. His eyes opened widely, Blacky was simply cunning as a fox.
The distance between Cool Breeze and Blacky was already small. Cool Breeze’s finger shot out while he chased down Blacky.
Blacky never intended to escape out of the arena. His left hand currently held three throwing knifes between his fingers.
“Be careful.” Blacky smiled faintly as he turned around and tossed out the throwing knifes at Cool Breeze’s upper body.
Cool Breeze was startled, he never expected the cowardly Blacky would attack so indecently.
Cool Breeze was shocked but still managed to crouch down to dodge the attack.
“Young master Breezy, it seems you’ve lost your momentum?”
Cool Breeze’s eyes dilated as he heard Blacky’s voice from above.
He saw Blacky holding a thin sword in his right hand. Blacky stabbed out aiming directly at the left side of Cool Breeze’s chest.
Blacky never expected to finish off Cool Breeze with the throwing knifes. The same moment he threw them out, his sword rushed towards Cool Breeze who was crouched.
Raven saw all of Blacky’s actions clearly. Everything was perfectly planned out.
Cool Breeze’s face flushed with anger as he realised he couldn’t dodge the strike. His white eyes lit up as he eyed the sword which stabbed towards him. Everything seemed to slow down within his eyes.
“I’ll kill you!”
A surge of white light appeared around Cool Breeze’s body. He pointed his finger at the sword.
The white light surged around Cool Breeze’s finger. It was so bright that his finger was no longer visible.

“Not good!” Raven shot up to his feet, however there was nothing he could do.
The sword which crashed into Cool Breeze’s finger shattered the moment the white light touched its tip.
Blacky didn’t have a single reaction. His eyes simply couldn’t detect any of Cool Breeze’s actions.
“Wait if you attack him with that energy..!” Raven shouted out, but Cool Breeze had no intention of stopping.
Cool Breeze’s finger landed directly on the middle of Blacky’s chest.
Under the stunned eyes of the crowd, Blacky shot out of the arena at a terrifying speed.
They all stood up in shock, Cool Breeze was covered with light. His finger seemed like a glowing sword.
Village Chief Shamix was completely stunned. The youngster was clearly emitting the same type of energy that Raven previously used. In fact the energy seemed more powerful and refined. He couldn’t believe that there was a seventeen year old Elemental Warrior. Little did he know that Cool Breeze was only fourteen.
Raven appeared at the spot Blacky landed.
Blacky had fainted, there was blood leaking from his orifices.
Raven put his finger on top of Blacky’s forehead as he shut his eyes. He used a simple technique to run through some of his energy through Blacky’s body.
After a moment Raven sighed bitterly. He began to regret allowing Blacky to go up against Cool Breeze.
He didn’t know Blacky too well, he only met him a few days ago. Yet he approved of his character, although he wasn’t a super genius such as Cool Breeze, he was still a great talent.
Unfortunately, although Blacky was not dead, he would be left in a near-crippled state. Cool Breeze used the power of elemental laws in his attack, Blacky’s would likely never be able to cultivate again.
Raven couldn’t blame Cool Breeze. He knew well that Cool Breeze was far stronger than him. He was also a member of the Demonic Cult Crew, one of the top three Sects of the empire.
Raven could only sigh as he remembered all the times Old Man Black would brag about Blacky. Ever since he picked up the young orphan, Old Man Black seemed to become more cheerful, he even began to put in more effort into cultivation, which he previously put on halt. Old Man Black had also specifically asked him to help Blacky get the Golden Leaf to breakthrough and become a level three Spiritual Warrior.
Cool Breeze watched on with his face red in embarrassment. He was not embarrassed about harming Blacky.. He was embarrassed due to going back on his word. Not only did he use strength above the Spiritual Warrior stage, he actually used a full powered attack. In other words he lost the fight against Blacky..
The ring on Raven’s hand flashed, and then a white pill appeared in his hands. This pill was a healing pill made by an Elemental Warrior alchemist. Its price was quite high, he originally planned on using it himself if he ever got injured in battle. He only got his hands on it due to completing a rough mission for the Bounty Hunters Association.
Although the pill had miraculous capabilities, it would at most only help Blacky retain his current level of strength. He would definitely need a higher quality pill to cure his body. Even so Raven still fed the pill to Blacky.
Village Chief Shamix eyed the pill as he continued to watch on silently, it was unknown what he was thinking. Only the sound of a few people muttering in the crowd was heard.
The effects of the pill were shown almost immediately, the blood which was flowing out of Blacky halted. After a minute Blacky showed signs of movement.
“Ughh.” Blacky coughed up a mouth full of blood. Raven noticed that within the blood, there was lingering white energy.
Raven helped Blacky sit up. Blacky rubbed his chest in pain then angrily glanced at Cool Breeze.
“You went back on your word!” Blacky pointed at Cool Breeze with his trembling finger.
Cool Breeze snorted in reply, although he was actually feeling quite ashamed at this moment.
“So what? You planned on winning using underhanded means. I simply planned on beating you up.” Cool Breeze snorted as he defended himself..
“You must pay me back three times more, no ten times more..” Blacky didn’t care about receiving a beating, he only wanted the Golden Leaf. Perhaps he could even get more if he acted more pitifully.
Cool Breeze face was flushed red in anger. “In your dreams.” He said.
“You will go back on your word again? Young master Breezy I’ve thought too highly of you.” Blacky put on a disgusted expression.
Raven coughed slightly at this moment. He knew that Cool Breeze was definitely wealthy, and cared a lot about his image. He hoped that he would give a high level pill to Blacky, to recover. He decided to try put in a word for Blacky.
At this moment rushing footsteps could be heard at the entrance of the arena.
“Surround these criminals, they all must be captured!” Village Chief Shamix’s voice sounded out at this moment.
