Chapter 4: Looking For Trouble
“This is Blacky, a new member of our Bounty Hunter Association. His master is Old Man Black.” Eryx answered the question immediately.
Blacky glanced at Eryx and the white haired boy. He clearly noticed the change in Eryx’s behaviour.
Cool Breeze continued smiling, after a moment of thought he said. “Haha, so you’re the disciple of the trash that got expelled from the Grand Tree Sect?”
Blacky frowned slightly but didn’t speak up.
Cool Breeze snorted disdainfully then turned to Eryx. “I heard there will be a tournament at Tifili Village soon?”
Eryx nodded his head vigorously. “Indeed, but I’m afraid with Young Masters skills, you won’t be interested in it.”
Cool Breeze chuckled “I am slightly interested in it actually..” As he said that he turned to look at Blacky and said. “Will this trash also be there?”
Eryx pondered for a moment before looking at Blacky. “Actually Old Man Black has already assigned a mission for him.”
Blacky was surprised, but Cool Breeze spoke up .“What’s the mission?”
Eryx hesitated for just a second. The information related to missions was always kept a secret.
“Well one of the nearby villages will be having a tournament soon.. The reason behind this is because the Tifili Village Chief has invited all surrounding villages to compete in the tournament.” Eryx explained while his eyes glanced between Cool Breeze and Blacky.
“The village is called Stone Village, the chief has announced a tournament to select those who he will bring to Tifili Village..” The Stone Village was one of the smaller villages within the vicinity.
Cool Breeze frowned and said. “Well is the target participating in the competition?”
Eryx smiled and shook his head mysteriously.
Blacky was still expressionlessly listening on, but Eryx’s next words shocked him.
“The target is the Stone Village Chief..” Eryx smiled as he glanced at Blacky’s shocked face.
Cool Breeze raised his eyebrows, and then he observed Blacky’s shocked expression. “Not possible.” He stated casually.
Eryx nodded. “Actually our branches Elder Raven has decided to take on the mission. He needs a disciple to take to the tournament. Since Elder Raven has a fairly good relationship with Old Man Black, this mission was offered to Blacky here.”
Blacky sighed in relief. Currently he had no confidence going up against any Village Chiefs.
Cool Breeze nodded. “Raven should be the strongest person at this branch.. I’ve heard he’s an Elemental Warrior?”
Blacky listened on at the side silently.
Eryx nodded then said. “That Village Chief is a peak Spiritual Warrior, Elder Raven should have no issues taking care of him.”
“Ahem.” Blacky on the side coughed weakly before speaking. “May I ask sir Eryx what the rewards of the mission are?”

Eryx smiled slightly after thinking about something he said. “To consider this mission a success, you must win the tournament. The winner will be given a reward by the Stone Village Chief. Elder Raven also stated he will personally hand over a reward once the mission is completed.”
Eryx’s tone seemed a lot less respectful when he talked to Blacky, but Blacky didn’t mind it.
Blacky thought about how Elder Raven was an Elemental Warrior. Meanwhile the Village Chief should also be fairly wealthy. A strange petty smile appeared on Blacky’s face, appearing lost in his thoughts.
The duo of Eryx and Cool Breeze looked at Blacky with different expressions. At this point Cool Breeze felt it was beneath him to insult this pathetic villager.
“Hmm.. Well this Young Master has nothing to do for now. I guess I’ll come along and see just how great the village warriors are.” Cool Breeze laughed after he stated his intentions.
Eryx felt shocked then he spoke up hesitantly. “Young Master, I’m afraid this type of mission will not be able to entertain you.. Perhaps you can go to the main headquarters.. And look for a more suitable mission.”
Blacky finally seemed to be annoyed with Cool Breeze, he shouted out. “Friend, my teacher chose this mission for me.. I’ll not share the reward with you.”
Cool Breeze looked at Blacky with some ill intentions. “Hmph, what trash reward, I don’t want it.”
As Blacky heard that he smiled immediately and said. “Haha, in that case it’ll be an honour to work with little brother.”
Cool Breeze eyes radiated a strange evil shine when he heard Blacky call him little brother. “You can call me Young Master Breezy, remember that or else..”
Suddenly Eryx spoke up noticing the strange mood. “Haha.. Blacky be sure to listen to Young Master Breezy’s instructions during this mission.”
Blacky felt annoyed, this white haired playboy was younger than him, and even more arrogant than himself. Blacky couldn’t help but feel displeased. Unfortunately he was threatened by ‘Breezy’s’ icy aura.
Eryx shot a glance at Blacky, his eyes seemed to say. ‘Don’t be an idiot.’
Eryx chuckled then clapped his hands. “Well the two of you should get ready to leave soon. It’ll take a week of traveling to reach Stone Village, and then you can prepare for a week before the tournament.”
Cool Breeze was eyeing Blacky coldly, but Blacky didn’t seem to notice. Finally they both nodded in agreement.
“Alright, Raven will be around Stone Village. Old Man Black has already notified him so he’ll be waiting for you.” Eryx said to Blacky, and then he bowed towards Cool Breeze.
Cool Breeze snorted then began to walk towards the exit. Noticing that Blacky wasn’t following him he shouted out. “What’re you waiting around for?”

Blacky held in his anger, and then followed behind Cool Breeze.
Eryx watched the two walk out with a smile, but after they left the building he couldn’t help but frown. “The Demonic Cult Crews third Prince.. What exactly is he looking for?”
…
Within Tifili Village Cool Breeze and Blacky were wondering around the streets.
After a minute, Blacky turned to look at Cool Breeze then he spoke in a friendly fashion. “Haha. Brother Breezy, do you know the way to Stone Village?”
Cool Breeze stopped and glared at Blacky in anger. He waved his hand and a map appeared seemingly out of nowhere, stunning Blacky.
“How did you do that?” Blacky asked in confusion.
Cool Breeze snorted in disdain he glanced at the map in his hand, and then turned to look at Blacky, with a strange grin on his face.
Blacky couldn’t help but feel odd being stared at by Breezy’s clear white eyes. “What is it..?”
Suddenly a large brown bag appeared in Cool Breeze’s hands. The huge bag was about half the size of Cool Breeze.
Cool Breeze held the bag out with a strange smile, and then said. “Take it.”
Blacky glanced at Cool Breeze who was mystically making objects appear out of nowhere. He stood still in the spot, face expressionless, seemingly not able to understand Cool Breeze’s words.
Cool Breeze snorted. “Fool, you go out on a mission without any supplies? I guess you reached the stage where you don’t need to eat or..?”
Blacky’s originally expressionless face immediately lit up with a smile. “Young Master Breezy, what nonsense are you speaking? Allow me to help carry your bag.”
Blacky didn’t hesitate to snatch the bag out of Cool Breeze’s hand. After which he immediately opened, and ravaged through it.
Cool Breeze stared at Blacky feeling confused, he told Blacky to hold the bag to pester him. After all, he had a special ring which could store a lot of objects inside. There was no need for anyone to carry the bag.
But Blacky took the bag and even called him ‘Young Master’ for the first time. Cool Breeze was only fourteen. He came from a mighty Sect, naturally he didn’t understand Blacky’s intentions.
Blacky looked at all the food inside the bag, and then praised Cool Breeze’s wealth. He shut the bag then hanged it on his back, with no intention of giving it back.
“Haha, Young Master Breezy please lead the way.” Blacky decided to suck up to Cool Breeze for more loot.
Cool Breeze watched Blacky with a strange expression, he felt very awkward now. “Right, if you continue to obey me I will give you more rewards..”
Blacky’s smile became wider after hearing those words. He followed behind Cool Breeze while being glared at by the people around the street.
After reaching a certain spot, the village streets became much wider. When Blacky looked around he saw countless stalls, selling all types of goods.
Blacky glanced around the area vigilantly. This was his favourite spot to steal from. Blacky felt countless people staring at him, due to the huge bag on his back.
Suddenly a shout was heard. “Halt!”
Blacky turned and glanced at the man who yelled out. Currently in front of Blacky and Cool Breeze were a few muscular men. All ten plus men had a badge on their chest which represented they were a part of the village guard.
Cool Breeze frowned as he glanced at the men blocking the way. Blacky immediately hid behind Cool Breeze and acted casual.
“Brat! You’re the one who did this to my eyes!” A man wearing an eye patch pointed at Blacky.
Blacky had his face hidden with a scarf, but it seemed the man in front of him still recognized him.
“Sir, I’m only just a traveller following my friend here.. You must have me mistaken with someone else.” Blacky tried to play it off.
“Nonsense, those robes and that smell.. Do you think I’m a fool??” The man with the eye patch bellowed.
“Submit and come with me to see my master Blood Red. He will punish you accordingly for stealing his wine.” The man grabbed the handle of the sword on his waist, while speaking to Blacky.
Blacky frowned, he whispered into Cool Breeze’s ear. “Young Master Breezy, these people are part of the Village Guard we should run.”
Cool Breeze smiled indifferently and took a few steps back. Clearly he didn’t plan on intervening.
The Village Guards were wearing leather, and chain armour. They had felt that the white haired youth was strange. Now that Cool Breeze had stepped back they started to surround Blacky.
Blacky glanced at Cool Breeze, and cursed him in his mind.
“Hmph, so you refuse to submit?! Very good I Kaffir will get revenge for what you’ve done to me.” ‘Kaffir’ placed his left hand on the eye which was covered. He remembered how he let a normal brat escape, even taking out his eye. This caused him to be enraged!
Kaffir walked out of the circular formation the guards had around Blacky. Sword in hand, he intended to take on Blacky all by himself to wash away his shame.
Blacky put the bag on his back onto the floor. He took a look at the group of guards who surrounded him, and then he eyed Kaffir.
Blacky smiled, he wasn’t afraid of Kaffir before. Now that he was a Spiritual Warrior, he was confident he could beat Kaffir in a one on one fight.
