《System Tournament》16: David 4

I’ve pulled yet another all-nighter working on the new plan for our group. It’s the third night in a row that I skipped but the second since we got classes. Somehow, I’m barely keeping up but I really think I’ll have to skip my round turn today…
Anyway, based on what information we gathered, the 3 students that were the most in the kitchen because they liked cooking are now Cooks or Athletic Cooks. That is nice because now they can apparently cook for more and their food has a chance to temporarily boost our stats? That is quite strange, but it still is a nice asset.
We have 15 students that got a class related to crafting. Two more art-oriented ones got Painter and Sculptor while the other got things like Leatherworker or Weapon Maker and variants. Out of those 15 students, 5 are those from Louis’ group, all Leatherworkers.
For the Painter and the Sculptor, they were allegedly passing time by doing their respective art and already had a skill for their class. For now, I have no use for their Classes for our survival, but I plan on letting them work on their piece, maybe it will help people ease their mind seeing that art can be created even when surrounded by Wolves.
As for the Weapon Makers, those were the ones that tried recycling anything they found to make better weapons during those past nine days. Thus, I’ll encourage them in continuing doing so.
Then comes the biggest part. Some students that had supposedly a high stat among Intelligence, Control or Concentration got a Magic-related class like John did. At least, most of those got the choice to get one, but out of the 35 students, 10 chose it.
They all got a related Skill upon getting their Class and upon using it, they noticed that an Aspect was added to their Status. To be precise, it would seem it is corresponding to the “element their spell is attuned to”, quoting John.

He helped me a lot on this magic part since I am really clueless about that part and never ever touched any game like that. The only kind I played were some fighting games like Road Boxer or some FPS with my friends.
And then, we got 12 miscellaneous Classes like my own Adaptable Leader, Lea’s Sentinel or Louis’ Trapper. Most of those are based on what they did during all this time so we got a Scholar one, because the girl continued reading a lot of the books that are still in the library on the third floor. We also have 5 Watcher Classes, those one seems like a lower Sentinel Class.
And finally, we have this huge number of 20 students with a physical fighting Class like Bill’s Hunter or Paul’s Robust Fighter.
With all that information parsed, I worked on the new plan and also, on the speech I’ll have to give to students to inform them on my decision, hoping they will accept it.
…
The next day, after having finally slept, I asked for John to search for everyone and bring them inside the refectory on the first floor.
Everyone is here and it is the time for me to start the speech.
“Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and for believing in me to lead us. Thanks to your trust, as you might know now, I’ve got a Leader class which might help me in making better decisions for all of us.”
I start, I notice that some people are nodding to my words while others are just waiting.
“Now, without further ado, I’d like to change the way our group works. For all the Magic-related Classes, I would like you to train outside during the afternoon, at the time we noticed there were the least wolves. I want you to feel accostumbrated with your new Skills.”

It is also to see what the Aspect part really is. John was telling me it might just be a gauge for their power with one of such Aspects, or elements like he loves calling them, but we can never be too sure.
“For the “Fighter” Class, I want you to train in the morning. You will also take part in Hunts at the same time. Groups of 2 fighters and 1 mage will be formed during those, the mage are here mostly to observe or to help out in case of grand danger.”
“Those with crafting Skills are asked to continue progressing their work as much as they can, notably for better weapons or armour.”
“Finally, for the patrols, groups will now be constituted of 2 Fighter, 1 Watcher or associated Class and 1 other person that isn’t a fighter. The groups are written on the board in the reception room. The patrols will last 4 hours and now requires you to walk around the dormitory while being alert.”
“And to finish, in a week, we will see each other back to know what to do next after your progress. As such I’d like you to fill in the notebook just under the whiteboard in the reception room with suggestions and also maybe your progress before then.”
“Thank you for listening, is anyone not agreeing with this plan or do any of you have a question?”
I finish my long speech, grabbing the bottle of water beside me to wet my dry throat.
“Hmm yes, it’s a question, not an opposition, really… It’s just, I don’t fit any of those groups, so what do I do, then?” asks a girl with blue hair, now starting to lose its coloration.
“Juliette, was it, right?” She acquiesce. “You can just continue doing whatever you’ve been up to before but you can also help the cooks and such. Maybe you could learn by observing the training regimen too, instead of just reading books.” I answer the scholar.
Congratulations! Your Leadership skill is now Lv14.
Congratulations! Your Leadership skill is now Lv15.
I noticed such windows after everyone started departing from the refectory.
It would seem that this plan really pleased people in the end and it granted me two skill levels. I can now finish the Leadership path, I think.
Congratulations! Due to your following of the Leadership Path, your Leadership (U) Lv15 evolved into Leader’s Charisma (R) Lv15.
Charisma it is? What does it do?
Leader’s Charisma Lv15 (R):
People are charmed by your decision. They trust you more and will rarely oppose you. Drains you the longer you talk to explain your decision.
So I could do that? Anyway, what does my status look like, now?

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
