Johnny walked straight into the basement. He took out his entrance card before reaching in front of Room no.63. He swipes his card at the side of the door and the door opens. He walked in and looked at his room. This room didn't have any windows but the environment inside was the same as outside.

There was a bed, a table, and a chair, a bundle of books on a bookshelf. There were ten bottles of juice over the table. This was not a normal juice but a nutrient juice. One bottle can fill up enough nutrients for a single day. This nutrient juice was most common in these years. These nutrient juice were divided into D, C, B, A, and S rank.

S-rank being the highest quality nutrient juice while D rank being worst but even if D-rank is worst, it still cost a hundred dollar per each. Johnny drank one bottle and sat in his bed in a meditation position.

He starts meditation to clear his mind for half an hour. After half an hour, his mind was full of energy ready to learn anything. Without delay, he picked up cultivation art then start reading.

It contains the position of other meridians also in it. This is very amazing since other meridians are hidden and can't be found easily. Opening these meridians will increase absorption speed by several times.

As for the Absorption part, this helps a person to sense dark energy in the atmosphere and absorb it. This is very simple but hard to remember everything in two weeks. But for Johnny, it is not that hard.

He began to focus on every word written on this cultivation art. He was remembering everything deeply, every way to control, every position of meridians, and how to sense dark energy and absorb it?

Slowly time passes and it took three days for him to completely remember it. He took out medicine and makes a cut on his finger, and drip a drop of blood on the medicine. Suddenly silver energy released another gold energy that flows towards his brain. Golden energy slowly starts to merge with his brain. When it was completely merged, this moment his brain releases terrifying momentum, and finally, something magical happened.

Mind Sense was opened. Yes now, he can officially start controlling that silver energy. To completely control energy or sense energy in the atmosphere, one needs to open mind sense.

Mind sense is a kind of feeling that can feel or control any kind of energy. Mind sense can also be used to check the surrounding by closing eyes. This is a very miraculous effect of cultivation. Until now they don't know much about Mind sense except its some basic functions.

The reason why Johnny dropped blood on medicine was because of this. He needs to open Mind Sense to control energy and it requires that gold energy merges with his brain. When Mind Sense was released, Johnny slowly controlled silver energy and separate them into two. This energy was released by two medicines, so it was extremely dense even though it was separated into two.

One part of silver energy flew up to his forehead and the other one, near his naval point. Suddenly silver energy in his forehead separated into two again, this time color also changed. One type of energy was in black, another type was in white. They started a collision with each other. The same thing happened to energy near his naval point.

Two energies in both places collide more than a hundred times, slowly forming strange space around it. Finally, Johnny shouted with all of his emotions "Merge"

His mind sense releases a powerful shockwave completely forcing this energy to merge. They didn't merge into each other instead of a black and white spiral, completely locking two energy at the center. It was like the Yin-Yang diagram, black and white merging with each other.

The same thing happened in both of his body parts. One space opened inside his forehead and another one down the naval point. Black and White energy finally created space for him and two were formed at the same time. It was truly majestic when his Mind Sense was released. A big part of creating both spaces was of his powerful Mind Sense.

He finally entered Magic and Martial Way, maybe this was also part of his parent's gene after all one was a Magician and one was a Martial artist. At this moment, he released his Mind Sense to check inside his Inner Space.

Inside inner space was just black, nothing could be seen except one lotus-like flower with its root on it. This lotus had one root which represents Profound Rank and Seven Petals which means Seventh grade. This means his talent for Martial Art is Profound Rank Seventh Grade, not very high.

He was a little disappointed but not dispirited. He then checks his Mana space, around his Mana space, there were five streaks of thick blue thunder covering Mana Space with Dark energy that was covering his Mana space with just one thread. Although it was just one thread, its covering area was huge so in some sense, both blue and dark threads completely cover Mana Space.

There was one star drawn at each thread which means profound rank and the number of thread means their grade. So in one way, this was good news and in another way, this was also bad news.

The good news was he awakened two elements thunder and dark which at once, can be counted as one in million. Especially his dark element which is very rare. The bad news was his thunder element was profound rank fifth grade and his dark element was profound rank first grade.

This is very unfair to him but he can't blame anyone after all the dark energy that mutated a person determines a person's talent. If his family was rich, he would have consumed a large amount of dark energy in the form of a pill without killing himself.

But unfortunately, this wasn't the case but he didn't blame anyone or his parents to be poor. He knows only hard work can bring true wonders of the world and cultivation. He just needs to work very hard and do everything he can to increase his strength, of course, that doesn't mean he will enter an evil path to increase his strength.

He then let a helpless smile then regather his spirit but suddenly he felt something in his pocket shining. He put his hand in his pocket and took out a black stone. Black stone-free itself from Johnny's hand and floated on air releasing silver light.

Then suddenly, it entered his forehead and his inner space. Johnny was a very calm person, he didn't panic and used his mind sense to enter his inner space. When he felt black stone hovering in his inner space some meters away from his spirit root, he used his mind sense to check inside the black stone.

Then, his body disappeared from his room.
