The world has changed one and a half year ago. People's nightmares and fantasys are walking earth, like they always have, only by now people know about it. The Clans have outed themselves to the world. Dragons, Phoenixes, Sphinxes and Vampires live amongst society, to only name the bigger clans. But though they have confirmed their existence they still hide their identities.
In a socitety that is profundly changed by the mere knowledge, what will happen if the clans give up their hiding and step into the open, forced by events well beyond their control?
And what will happen if powers older than any creature living in the mortal realms use their influence to get their feet back into the door? If the magic long sealed away and cut of is revived?
Follow Rhiannon, a university student and Mark, a young and promising polive officer, who have both individually fallen into the rabbithole of power, magic, machinations and politics.
Modern Europe. It's been a year since the news of the ancient clans do exist got published. Those clans which consists of fairytale creatures such as dragons, phoenixes and many more have been living among the human society all along. Due to genetic research it is clear that those powers are the result of certain mutations in the human DNA.
A hardworking veterinary student named Rhiannon is sure to be interested in those aliens that seem to stem from her favorite books. But she is certainly less interested in becoming a full-fledged member of those clans.
Same goes for Mark who's a police officer recently promoted to the capital crimes department. Being the youngest to reach that goal and being partners with his stepmother and mentor he is happy. Everything is fine. If it wasn't for his curiosity which gets him involved with the woman of his dreams... And the ancient clans that seem to be the culprit of the several crimes that he is forbidden to solve.

But this is the mere beginning. There will be blood, strategy and politics as well as love and friendship. To tell you more is only going to spoil the surprise.
Fall of the Phoenix is the first installment of a series I am currently writing. This is my second draft. You might have seen the first one some time ago. This draft will have some fundamental changes, so even if you read the first one it might be interesting to follow this one, too. Mark's point of view will be completely rewritten.
Seagod's Curse (IPW I) and Tavern's Edge (IPW II) will be rewritten, too. You might think of them as prequels. Both of them are may be read separately, but belong to the same uniververse. The Ancient Blood series (IPW III) is set in modern times whilst SC and TE will feature historical elements.

I Killed Myself but Woke Up in Another World
Cultivation and Game system progressive fantasy with character development as focus. *** Living in a pointless world where everything he did only put him at the bottom of the chain. No one offered a hand. So I offered mine instead. ***************** One, I didn't create a likeable MC. Two, I'm still grasping in the darkness. Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
