The Fang family's seamstress gladly sewed the silks into cheongsam dresses.

The room was silent. No one was willing to talk.

Blare look at his father and look at him with furrowed eyebrows that are saying 'What is happening?!'

The General smiled, then turned his eyes towards Wang Jianyi.

"Your Highness, Hua'er is already here just as you requested." General Fang smiled, but Blare sensed a hidden contempt behind it.

Wang Jianyi raised a brow at General Feng and Zhao Kang. Indicating them to leave.

Sensing his gaze and intention, General Fang said, "My daughter just annulled her engagement to Your Highness. It is improper if she accompany you alone."

"I understand General Fang, but what is this peasant doing here?" Wang Jianyi looked at Zhao Kang in disdain.

Zhao Kang's eyebrows twitch, but it wasn't seen since he was bowing his head.
