Yaaawwn~
Konstantine let out a long-awaited yawn as she stood up, throwing her empty can of tuna over her shoulder before stretching and glancing over at Kry who was reading a book whilst sitting on a log.
"Hm, what're you reading?" She asked him with a clearing of her throat, folding her arms.
Kry pushed up his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "The Biology of The Dire. It's a book about the mysterious Dire-Beings that live in Diratopia, the land south of here."
"Dire-Beings, huh? I've only heard of them a little.." Konstantine mumbled out, walking over to Kry and standing beside him to look at the text. She frowned slightly upon reading the text before glancing away into the forest.
"I'm not surprised. Like I said...rather mysterious beings."
Krrk!
The two quickly turned their backs to the trees behind them after hearing a branch snap, Kry slowly put his book down on the log.
Konstantine and Kry looked at eachother, she nodded at him.
"Hugo? Altara? That you?? You were pretty quick." Kry shouted out. Konstantine took a semi-auto pistol out of her trenchcoat and checked the ammo on it.
Konstantine glanced over her shoulder as her eyes widened, spotting footsteps form into the grassy floor rapidly approaching her. She spun around and fired three shots. Kry also spun around as well as he heard the shots. The footsteps suddenly stopped in their tracks only to turn quickly around, running away.
"Invisibility?!" Kry watched the footsteps run away, a small puddle of blood forming behind it. "He's back?.." He mumbled with a face full of concern.
"Is this-" Konstantine was then interrupted by Kry. "Yes, yes it is. It's the masked man. He had magik just like this." He looked at the blood on the floor. "Maybe we can track him through his blood, but the thing is..." He looked ahead of the bloody puddle. "The bleeding stopped pretty much instantly. He might have a healing potion on him. Either that or-"

Kry then stopped talking instantly. Konstantine looked at him and frowned slightly. "Or?"
Kry then started to fall forwards. "-he's not alone~" Konstantine caught him before he could hit the ground and placed him down gently, noticing a dart in the back of his neck. "Shit!"
She fired a bullet right behind her in panic which hit a tree. "He must've got the other two as well.." Sweat started to produce on her head as her crimson eyes darted all around her.
Dak dak dak dak
As she heard rapidly approaching footsteps to her left she swung her pistol in the direction they came from, colliding with an invisible figure's head. A distorted grunt echoed out as the figure fell to the floor, coming out of invisibility. A black and red heavily armored knight lied on the floor with golden eyes that pierced through its visor. It slowly started to stand up again but before it could Konstantine send three shots of lead into its head, causing it to dissolve into red smoke which soon faded away.
Konstantine then heard another set of footsteps approaching from behind, she reloaded her pistol swiftly and aimed it in the direction of the noise. The pistol then sparked lightning all over it, Konstantine glaring as she fired three of the now lightning enchanted bullets at the target. The bullets hit the invisible target causing them to come out of invisibility and fall onto the floor, it was a knight just like the one before. They spazzed on the floor from the lightning before dissolving into red smoke.
Konstantine put her back against a tree and reloaded her pistol, panting. She then heard a branch move above her but before she could move out the way she was forced onto the floor as an invisible figure landed on her, she dropped her pistol as she hit the grassy floor and grunted, taking out a small shiv from the back of her pants which was swiftly forced out of her hand by the figure, she was then pinned.

"B-Bastard! GET OFF ME!" She growled out as she struggled to get the figure off her back.
Suddenly, another figure came out of invisibility before her, she glanced up, seething at the sight of the cloaked man with a crow mask. He crouched down on one knee before her, the invisible figure still on her back.
"Hm." He extended his black gloved hand to her chin, forcing her head up to look at him.
"Your eyes....
...they're crimson..."
His low voice observed, the pitch black eye holes locked on her eyes.
Konstantine kept on glaring at him, saying nothing.
"Take good care of this one. I will tend to the others."
Two of the black and red knights came into the camp carrying the unconscious Hugo and Altara, both placing them on the floor next to Kry.
The masked man moved over to the three men, his eyes flashing dark blue as a dark blue magik knife appeared in his hand. He moved behind Kry who was lying on his stomach, pulling his hair up to expose his neck. He then placed the knife to his throat.
Konstantine's eyes widened. "STOP!"
The man didn't listen, blood started leak slowly from Kry's throat as the knife started to drift across his neck.
Konstantine growled, tears forming in anger. "I'LL KILL YOU! STOPPP!"
The masked man looked up, stopping his knife in place as his phone rung in his back pocket. He dropped Kry's head and kept his knife in his other hand which was dripping with blood.
He then answered the phone.
"Who is this?"
...
His eyes widened as he could be visually seen and heard gulping.
"Y-Yes sir. Don't worry."
He hung up and placed the phone back in his pocket with a sigh.
...
He then stood there for a moment, looking right in front of him as a strict and direct voice rang out, the source of which couldn't be seen by Konstantine.
"Do as he says. This was your plan after all."
Konstantine was then struck in the head by the invisible figure on top of her, knocking her out.

Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P
8 162Nighthawk
Ancient tombs hold mysteries and treasures that many cannot even begin to imagine. From magical traps to deadly monsters, mechanisms are established to keep these tombs shut. However, there are brave souls who dare to risk their lives for the allure of riches and glory. Those who rob graves and storm tombs are known as Nighthawks. Lucrio Law, the young heir of Tosa, doesn’t care about graves or tombs. In fact, he doesn’t care about much besides drinking, gambling, and womanizing. But when circumstances leave him ensnared by a centuries-old curse, Luc is forced to walk the path of a Nighthawk, searching for the cure to his curse and discovering that some things are meant to stay buried. Author's Note: - This story will contain litrpg elements like Titles, Skills, and Levels. - MC will not become instantly powerful. I plan for a slower grind with a focus on the characters themselves rather than their abilities. - This is my first attempt at a litrpg story, so please leave any comments/suggestions you have!
8 100Berserker- Crank Wars
Nearly 500 years have passed since the so-called apocalypse where souls dominated their control over the human vessels and grew into fierce monsters. A small frail kid saved humanity from getting wiped out of the face of the earth through his strangely powerful and unique techniques and taught them to the humans that followed him. He became a legend and humans developed special powers called cranks from his teachings. Humans couldn't procreate anymore. A very few thousands of last generation humans that remained or stayed alive by becaming crankers now constitutes the only humanity left on the planet. And they should continue to keep levelling up their cranks by slaying monsters and siphoning their souls to stay immortal and most of them tend to form teams to increase their odds. Everything was wrist-slittingly boring like that until one of those teams went ahead and mistakenly awakened the legend kid from his deep, and sound slumber. --------- One Chapter @Everyday -------------------- Unfortunately, I don't own the cover. I found it on Pinterest. And edited it a little.

Owari considers himself to be quite average, because of that he works much harder. He is an up and coming hunter and beast tamer, a person who tames magical beasts and uses mystical martial arts to fight alongside them. What their job entails is as diverse as there are hunters. But how well does it fit him and how far will he go in this line of work where mortality rates are high and stories of success are not? Only one way to find out.
